Playing VR with JContainers VR, but creature framework is giving error that I have incorrect version of JContainers.  Help?

It's not on the list but it does work on 1.6.1170

 

Considering how many mods depend on it for MCM support it probably should be added to the list.

SkyUI was officially released on 2017 and it has almost 5mil unique download. I think it's safe to assume it works fine. You do need a few fixes for it if you're on 1.6.1170 (journal fixes, unsquish fixes for different UI elements). But the base has been there for years, no need to track it like it's a hidden gem or some unofficial port.

The point is that it's a very popular mod that has been available for years. It's also linked in the main post. If you can't find it, what are you doing? Everyone uses SkyUI and there is no alternative to SkyUI's MCM because you can use SkyUI like everyone else.

Jcontainers on 4.2.9 Appears to break Creature Framework SSE. Downgrading to even 4.2.8 breaks the latest version of Skyrim SSE. Any way to get Creature framework working on this latest version of Jcontainers?

I'm running JContainers 4.2.9 and Creature Framework without issue. You mention "Creature Framework SSE" - do you mean

I went to see which Creature Framework I have installed and I don't think it's that one. However, I can't figure out which one it is. The file name I installed is "CreatureFrameworkV3-1.7z", but that is not the file that's available from the link I posted above.

 

I'd love to point you to the Creature Framework I'm using but since I can't figure out where I got it from I can't help you directly. However, I hope the info I gave you helps you a little.

Just an observation. I still check this post often as it lists lot of good mods even the information on them would be out of date simply listing the content is important.

I checked it yesterday and I could not see mention of sexlab adventures. I find it quite useful mod that can be customized.

Anyone know what's the reason Creature Framework is not registered on MCM? I have installed everything correctly and even test with clean build. In game, it did say Creature Framework is Installed, however, it is never installed to MCM. I am running latest SKSE 2.2.6 and Jcontainer 4.2.9. Is there a workaround for this?

Nevermind, using the Creature Framework in the MoreNastyCritter seems to work fine.

By the way, someone managed a topic about GOG compatible mods, it didn't receive many contributions, and I can't find it now (I think I was one of the followers). Was it deleted ?

 

I'm still interested in everything that fills the remaining lacks in GOG modding, like the non-working UI Extensions needed by a few serious mods.

About SSE Enginfixes and CreationKid platform extended:  DON'T INSTALL CKPE WITH A MODMANAGER!!!!!! Try manual downlad and copy it into the skyrim folder...

 

This was one of my problems while I started to pay Skyrim again after a year....

I need High poly head and I hope some one can help me out, because I'm not able to log in on Veryplexus.... And something strange happened here within the last 6 months: I can nolonger open .nif files outside of the CK: Bodyslide and Outfitstudio crash with an exeption error everytime I try to open a preview and Nifskope refuses to open at all. Any Ideas?

 i Can help you with High poly head  but for the nif files i have no idea :(.

Its one of ther strange things in Windows, I guess.... It all worked when I was playing Starfiel and Fallout NV, then I stopped playing for a while. Can you send HPH via PM or is it to big for that? Thank you in advance!

As an addition to this if anyones interested, the creature child addon from LE now seems to work.  The file in the linked post was converted to SE and didnt work originally, but I tried it with the latest version of BF for AE it "seems" to be working, at least with my limited testing.
