    A new area of Summer City to explore. You can stroll the streets and piers of The Wharf. Shop the many shops. There are both day time and night time options. Come play at The Wharf!
     
    Going forward, The Wharf will require the "Clone Wars" genderswapping framework for use in any of its gender swapping scenes.

    Summer City - a place where anyone can be anyone they want! To bring this dream into reality, a new form of tardigrade-based gene manipulation has been released to the public. These new "yellow pills" will permanently alter your DNA, changing who you are on a fundamental level. Of course, with such a radical change to your identity there'll be a lot of paperwork involved...
     
    This mod adds a new location to Paradise Mall: a branch office of the (made up) Department of Identity & Naturality Change. The primary purpose is to provide an in-game way for you to change your character's "real id" to one of the other character types in the game. Great for those that change their mind as to which character to play as halfway through the game. Appears to work with most new character mods. Also included is the ability to change the character's name(s). While there are workarounds in the game to accomplish this, the mod adds a readily available in-universe explanation for why your character suddenly changed to a new guy.
     
    Also included are services that alter your DNA to change your sex as well! Keep in mind that the game isn't exactly designed by default to account for a truly female character without being on a pill. This part of the mod was expressively designed with other mods in mind that expand female character potential. With the current base game it mostly works but there are some issues (such as with the New-U machine). Also included is a mysterious vending machine that lets you add some side-effects (such as bimbo and compliant) in case your new permanent form needs some spice.
     
    The mod appears to be in working order, but if anyone finds any major issues let me know. Also note that this mod is explicitly designed to contradict the lore of the game. It represents a "what-if" scenario where new, highly regulated technology is introduced.

    Corinthian is a new location for XCL. This is basically two very different jobs in one both at the Corinthian hotel. You start as an ordinary hotel worker but there are promotions available. Including a whole new way of employing Bar Girls. There is a mod option to unlock both jobs from the start but for the first playthrough it is recommended to play through normally.
     
     
    FAQ:
     
    Why are there two files?
    The Corinthian file is all you need to play. However the Additional Events file (Corinthian AE) adds a lot of variety and new events/missions. They are split in two so that an update of the basegame does not require everyone to download all those media files again.
     
    Are there any known conflicts with other mods?
    No. 
     
    Will other mods work well with this mod?
    Yes. especially Bar girls will work will and add a lot of variety to especially the night job at the Corinthian. "Any job" mod is also supported.
     
    Can I play this in my old save?
    Yes. Although you might have to wait a day until the locations appear. Corinthian is 99% new stuff so shouldn't interfere with any other thing.
     
    Do I need any other mods to play this?
    No, it is entirely self-contained.
     
    How do I start this mod?
    It should start on its own. You can select the Corinthian during the daily planning with the 🏨 (hotel) icon. If you load a save or use the option to unlock night right away you might have to wait a day until you see the option to go to the Corinthian.
     
    Why do I get an error when adding this mod to the modloader?
    You need to update your modloader to the latest version and then re-add the mod into the modloader.

    Assistants:
    Choosing assistants customizes your experience at night somewhat. They adjust both kinks and difficulty. Bear in mind that not everything is completed yet.

    There are passage tags in the code that can be listened to but the other main way I expect modding to come here is to add more missions and events.
     
    How to write a mission for Corinthian nights:
    Make a new twee file.
    Needs to contain 5 passages:
    cor title X
    cor description X
    cor short description X
    cor resolution X
    corinthian add missions [around]
     
    X is the id you define in "corinthian add missions" where you have to make a dm containing all the various variables that the mod need.

    The 3 first are relatively simple as they simply contain text that the mod will show at various points. Please keep title and short description relatively short.

    Resolution should start with (display: "cor calculate mission success") and end with (display:"cor night mission reward"). This is were the result of the job is presented and you can check $currentmissionstate for the result of the job.

    How to add an event for Corinthian
    Make a passage with one or both of the relevant tags: maid_event_fail and maid_event_success
    Write the event in that passage.

    This is a relatively simple mod that adds a new "Casino" option to The Broken Drum bar with Bad Habits integration.

    This mod is not compatible with the 'Run Server' function in the mod loader.
    Do not use the 'Run Server' function in the mod loader. Instead, please use 'Load Mods' and then run the game through the modded HTML file.
     
    At the moment, there is no dedicated casino currency. When you choose a game, your character's money will be temporarily set to 0 and added to the game. Your money will be returned when you exit the game and return to the main casino screen.
     
    There is a character in the "Back Alley" area who acts as a new and cheaper cigarette and weed dealer for the Bad Habits mod as well as, at the moment, a very basic loan shark. There are at the moment no consequences for racking up debt, but there will be in the future.
     
    I plan to expand this mod significantly, including moving the casino to its own dedicated evening activity. However, in its current simple state, I've integrated it as an option within The Broken Drum for now.
     
    Potential Future Plans
    Additional games NPCs with interactive dialogue A separate currency system using casino chips A potential storyline Making the casino a standalone evening activity  
    Should be compatible with everything.

    This mod adds a new store called "Pill Poppa" to the mall.
     
    While the mod doesn't include any new pills, it's been created with the intent of giving modders a place to sell non-X-Change "knock-off" pills. So, if it's not a reputable product of the X-Change corporation, this Pill Poppa is probably the place to look for it.
     
    Works with X-Change Life v0.20
     
    NOTE: The patches require a new game in order to work; old saves will likely not have the pills in the correct stores.
     
    Instructions for Players
    To use this mod, you need the core Twee file and the media file. The store does not come with any pills on it's own. These need to be added via other mods or through patches. I have included a few patches, but other creators can make their own.
     
    Explanation of the available files:
    REQUIRED: XCL u666 knockoff pharmacy CORE: TWEE and MEDIA files - These two core files  are required to add the store to the mall. All additional files will add different options to the store.  
    Patches for Pills - These patches allow pills/drugs from other mods to be sold through the Pill Poppa pharmacy
    XCL u666 knockoff pharmacy Patch4BRpills - This is a patch for BR Pill Mod. This will move two of the non-X-Change brand pills to the knock-off pharmacy. XCL u666 knockoff pharmacy Patch4PharmInc - This allows the various Pharm Inc pills (requires Drug Framework 2) to be sold in the store.

    For Modders:
    Chuck from the XCL Discord provided me with a solution for making Drugs/Pills show up in the Pill Poppa pharmacy if players happen to have it installed (and default to the X-Change pharmacy if not), without requiring a patch. I've included the details and samples below, if you'd like to add your own pills to the store.
     
    Which pills do I feel belong here? Lore-wise, I figure the X-Change Pharmacy will sell only official X-Change-branded products, thus Pill Poppa would sell any third-party "knockoff" pills or other potentially dangerous drugs. If that sounds like what you've made, you might want to consider including it.

    This mod adds a shop to the Mall called Mind Games. There you can purchase their state of the art Joystick and plug it into that computer you bought at Radioshack.
    All that's left is to get yourself a videogame and choose to play videogames all day.
     
    --- buy computer, buy joystick, buy videogame, choose play videogames activity (afternoon or evening), ???, profit!
     
    This mod gives you something else to spend money on, another activity to take up your valuable time, and also gives everyone the chance to regain lost identity if you complete a game.

    This mod is now what I originally envisioned it to be and is what I consider a full experience*.
     
    It includes:
    Purchasing and playing normal and adult videogames. A way to regain lost identity by completing games. Masturbating after a sexy game (even with the joystick itself if your femininity or arousal is high enough). Interactions with family if you game instead of going out, or play too much in a week. An option in the game settings to complete games at a faster rate.  
     
    *Although I can say I am now satisfied with it, I intend to return to it at some point, both to continue tweaks and bug-fixes, and to look into more features:
    Interactions with the nerds in the store. 2 player games - invite girls, fuckbuddies, coworkers over to play.

    So I've been working on this mod for over a year now and it's still not finished because there is a hell of a lot that needs changing in the code like voice lines for example, there are currently no custom pictures of the club itself as I need to work on editing the pictures I do have.
     
    Club Renegade is a brand new BDSM nightclub that has been opened on The Wharf by the, previously faceless, DJ Alaina Chrest. The club has quickly become known for being a haven for goths, rock fans and BDSM enjoyers. Regulars to the club will know of the 2 secret rooms in the back that aren't open to anyone who hasn't received an invite from Alaina herself.
