A highly updated version of the original Submissive Lola mod by alexvkj. The mod was rebooted as The Resubmission by MrEsturk and Hex Bolt. When MrEsturk became unavailable, I created this page to continue updates & support. Same mod, with a new page to conveniently get updates.

What Does It Do?

The mod lets you turn a follower into a dominant personality in a consensual master-slave relationship (though there are optional non-consensual features, and you can even start by being bought as a slave). You can optionally have a contract time to fulfill.

At the heart of the mod is submissiveness. It's in the title. "Lola" will either enter enslavement knowing that she's submissive, or it will be revealed to her. Not suited for characters who don't fit that description.

Any playable race follower can become your owner, though custom followers with specialized frameworks (like Serana and Inigo) will probably not work. Male and female player characters are supported. Some content is exclusively for female player characters, but most is not. You may specify your gender preference and play a gay or lesbian character.

Your progress in the relationship is measured with a submission score. Initially only basic events are available, but as the score increases more and more events open up. At the highest score level, the events can be inconvenient (if you act like a submissive doormat, you get treated like one), so you might choose to avoid reaching the max score 100.

Your dominant follower "owner" will call you Lola, regardless of your character's gender (there's a book with lore about that). There is an automated process (described below) to change that name if you can use xEdit. You can change your owner's title in the MCM if you don't care for Master or Mistress.

Your owner rules you with a firm hand but is often playful and teasing. When you're made to do humiliating things, it's said that it's to help you admit your darkest desires, or to help you learn obedience, all for your own good. You're like a valued pet. And a sex slave. Your owner understands the value of fantasy and imagination and will sometimes suggest things that will never actually be done to you. Above all, your owner wants your submission and obedience, not your gold. Gold CAN play a large role in your relationship if you enable those features, or it can have no part of it.

This is fantasy! It is not a modern-day consensual, caring, dominant-submissive relationship. There are no safe words or red lines. Your owner treats you like an actual slave, refers to you as property, and doesn't hesitate to use a shock collar to force your obedience. Although this mod will never cause your character to be raped, disfigured, or permanently harmed, your character can be forced into prostitution (there's a setting to turn that off), ordered to have sex with strangers, required to be naked at times, and be exposed to public humiliation. This is fantasy. It's left to you to interpret your character's experiences as a dream come true, a fantasy turned nightmare, or perhaps a forceful education in your character's secret desires. Your owner likes to keep you guessing and is often playful. It is left for you to decide whether your owner is toying with you or working hard to fulfill your darkest desires.

Installation

- The main download SubmissiveLolaResubmission is required. EsturkBooze is optional (details below).

- The downloads work for LE, SE, and AE. No conversions needed.

- This mod replaces any other Submissive Lola. Do not install two versions.

- Players should have at least one spanking animation, or the spanking scenes will be generic sex. I recommend "Rydin Overlap Spanking". LE version is here. SE version is here. Another good option is the Devious Followers Spank SLAL mini pack (LE and SE), which also adds just a handful of animations. You can install the animations without installing Devious Followers.

Features

- MCM with extensive customization options.
- Requires and uses Devious Devices, though if you're wearing a ZAP device the mod will recognize it.
- Support for custom collar and gag meshes & textures. Or just use the collar of your choice from another mod.
- If you have multiple followers, you can change which one is your owner at any time.
- Prostitution events that use Radiant Prostitution if you have it (WraithSlayer, Gigolo, and RMCW versions all work), or a basic form provided by the mod.

- Although TDF Prostitution is not supported, if you've installed it (or even just installed its animations), this mod will use the TDF dances.
- Gold sharing system. Highly configurable. Automatically split gold with your owner. Pay your owner, or have your owner pay you!

- Select a second follower to be your playmate. Your owner might have your playmate spank, whip, or do other things to you.
- Have your owner confiscate your keys, and some or all of your lockpicks.

- You can ask your owner to help unlock devices on you, the owner, or playmate.

- Soft integration with Simple Slavery++. Have a follower buy you and become your owner -- or buy you again if already your owner.
- Spanking and whipping as punishment, or as reward!
- When your owner spanks you, a mod event is sent to Spank That Ass (if installed).
- City-specific events. Be displayed at the Riften slave market. Have 3-way sex with a priestess in the Temple of Dibella. Perform at the Bards College. Naked.
- Make embarrassing admissions (some of which might even be true) to strangers. Get punished if you don't say it right.
- Make deliveries as a pony girl, with your choice of outfit color.

Updating

It is always safe to update to a newer version mid-game. There's no need for a clean save. However, safely updating to a particular version sometimes requires that a certain quest not be running when you do so. Whenever that is true, I note it in bold red text in the change notes for that version. If you're updating from several versions behind, please skim the change log for any red text warnings.

How Do I Start?

At a minimum, look over the settings on the mod's main MCM page. Some of them, like starting contract time, won't be available after you've submitted to your follower.

The classic start is to read the book Submissive Lola under Haelga's bed in the Bunkhouse (other copies are in Dragonsreach, the Bards College, Silverblood Inn, and Candlehearth Hall). Or just click the Start Quest button on the MCM and you'll be given the book.

Talk to a current follower. Either say "I'd like to talk to you about something unusual" or, if you enabled the option for the follower to approach you, eventually the follower will invite you to become a slave (there's a chance of that each time you talk to a follower, but the follower won't run up to you and ask).

Don't be foolish. If you enable an option for permanent enslavement, that's what you'll get. There is no safeword. If you lock out the anti-cheat controls, you're locked out forever.

Compatibility

- Devious Devices 5.2 or higher is required for versions 2.1.0 or higher. The old version 2.0.64 works with DD 4. Players with DD 5.0 or 5.1 should update to 5.2.

- Beware of using old, unmaintained mod patches. For example, SexLab Inflation Framework Patches overwrites the main script of Devious Devices with a version from 2018; that causes Submissive Lola to see your DD 5.2 installation as an old version, which effectively it is with that ancient patch.

- SexLab (Ashal's official version) or a 100% compatible replacement is required to ensure that all features work.

- Any up-to-date version of SexLab Aroused will work. This mod doesn't use special keywords.

- ZAP 8 is recommended but ZAP 7 is supported. ZAP 8 has dance animations. Without them, you'll have to dance like a fool (Cicero's dance), unless you've optionally installed the dance animation from TDF Prostitution, which this mod will also use.

- As of ZAP 9.2, ZAP 9 causes the whipping done by this mod not to work.

- Some add-ons for Simple Slavery++ (not enslavement mods, but mods that alter Simple Slavery) can interfere with a small amount of this mod's content (for example, the Trophy Slave event). Affected content will be disabled to avoid conflicts.

- Avoid using Sky UI's "Unequip Armor" toggle. It tries to remove Devious Devices, resulting in a half on, half off equipped state.

- Busy Follower Framework is not fully compatible and is not recommended (use NFF or EFF). Recruiting hirelings and having a buyer who is not a current follower buy you probably won't work or might have glitchy follower behavior. However, submitting to a current follower should be okay.

- Ultimate Combat can cause whipping scenes to not work. It is compatible if you don't overwrite any FNIS animations with it, keep it above FNIS.esp, and deactivate PC stagger in its MCM (stagger breaks animations).

- Forced orgasm events might time out without orgasm if you use a nonstandard version of SexLab Aroused, such as OSLAroused. Either adjust your Libido during these events or wait for the events to time out.

- DAR/OAR combat animations might override the whipping animations unless you specifically exclude ZAP's zbf punishment cane or the keyword zbfWeaponPunishment.

- The old Whiterun Brothel (which is no longer available) interferes with whipping.

- Better Dialogue Controls has caused problems for some people, only because they couldn't view more than 5 dialog options. If you can scroll through dialog choices, you're okay, just be aware that a scroll bar might not appear even when more responses exist.

3-Way Sex

For sex scenes with 3 actors, this mod tries to use a gender-appropriate animation. It will require the FFF or MMM tag for lesbian or gay 3-way sex, MFF or FFM for two females and one male, and so on. Billyy's Animations has some good FFF animations.

I Want Widgets to format many of this mod's notifications (it works for SE and LE).

For sweeping enthusiasts, Sweeping Organizes Stuff (SE) or Broom Sweeping (LE). Clicking the broom counts as sweeping during the sweeping task.

Butt Slap ("Slap da Butt") mod (LE | SE). The owner will send you off with a slap on the butt for some tasks.

Billyy's Animations for "Headpats". You'll sometimes get a pat on the head and a "Good girl/boy!" for a difficult job well done.

Recommended SexLab Aroused Settings

For a sane arousal increase rate, on the main MCM page for SL Aroused, set Time Rate Change to 0 (default is 5). Time Rate will never increase, so you'll never have the crazed nympho spiral of doom. Next, go to the puppet master page and set your Time Rate to something reasonable. I like 10. Time Arousal is Time Rate times days since last orgasm. Also adjust the owner's Time Rate to suit that character's personality.

Even at 24 hours without orgasm (you probably won't go that long with mods like this one), the time contribution toward arousal would just be 10 points. Arousal is Exposure + Time Arousal, so almost all arousal would come from cumulative exposure.

You might also consider lowering your Exposure setting, but unless you're seeing a lot of nudity (yours isn't counted), your arousal should increase slowly and consistently. In my games, it's very manageable. Even setting the owner's clothing to "naked", my character's arousal is tolerable, though as expected she's usually hot to trot with constant exposure.

You can further manage your character's exposure with the SLTR MCM Roleplay setting, "Your satisfaction with sex with owner". This amount is subtracted from the PC's exposure after sex with the owner, from -20 (owner is very selfish and slave gets very little release) to 50 (extremely satisfying). SLTR always sets the owner's exposure after sex (with anyone) to zero, to keep the owner from demanding sex every two minutes around a naked slave. As mentioned before, setting the owner's Time Rate in SL Arousal helps with that too.

I also suggest lowering Cell Scan Frequency by a factor of 4 (to 30 seconds) and the same with Default Exposure Rate (to 0.5). This does increase script load but scanning every 30 seconds is not that frequent. (If it's a problem, lower both settings by a factor 2 rather than 4.) Updating arousal at the default once every two minutes just doesn't work well. Your naked or sexy-dressed character can be in & out of several buildings before NPCs even notice. Reducing these two settings by the same factor allows for more frequent updates, so NPCs actually notice the PC and get aroused, without changing the overall rate of exposure gain over time.

Installing Extra Animations

Several animations from GS Poses are used if they are installed. This mod assumes the latest LoversLab version, GSPoses 20 03. If you use a different version of GS Poses, it should work, but just be aware that the pose IDs can change between versions of that mod.

This mod will use dances from TDF Prostitution and a few poses from RohZima's Animated Poser if you have those mods or at least their animations installed. The mods don't have to be enabled or running; only their animation files are needed.

How to install just the animations

Open the mod's download file.

Drag the Meshes\Actors file into Data\Meshes.

You now have new files in Data\meshes\actors\character\animations and Data\meshes\actors\character\behavior.

Run FNIS.

Optionally, to reduce the number of new animations, delete the animations (HKX files) that you don't want. (For the RohZima animations, this mod only uses Fitness 3, 4, and 5.) You must also edit the FNIS_xxx_List.txt file to remove the lines for the animations that you deleted. Run FNIS when you're done.

Optional Download Files

Riding Crop: This is an optional custom model for the whip that the owner uses on you. It's a black leather riding crop. To use it, extract the files from the download into either your Data folder or the installation folder for this mod. This REPLACES the CustomWhip.nif file, so if you were using a different custom whip mesh, rename that file or copy it so you don't lose it. In the MCM under Rules, set Whipping Weapon to Custom to use the custom model.

Bigger Brooms: Bigger brooms for the sweeping animation, because the standard broom doesn't come very close to reaching the floor. These optional replacement meshes only affect the sweeping animation, not broom objects. They will be used by everyone, not just you.

Runic Collars Alternative Colors: These are alternate files with different colors for the Runic Collar by Frayed. If you like red collar runes and red glowing circles, you don't need to use these files. Read the text file inside the download for instructions.

EsturkBooze: "It's an optional mod that replaces the effects of consuming the various alcoholic drinks in vanilla Skyrim. They are given much more useful healing/buff effects but have the added side effect of causing drunkenness (blurred vision and random stumbling)." This is an optional standalone mod. There is no interaction between EsturkBooze and Submissive Lola. EsurkBooze modifies vanilla booze (ale, Nord mead, etc.). If you have other mods that also modify these consumables, they will conflict and the lowest one in your mod list will override the other's changes.

Add-ons

Add-ons offer extra content that might not necessarily fit the tone of the base mod. Think of them as spices for a meal. Each has a different flavor, which might or might not suit your taste. For questions or support, please contact the add-on's author.

Coffee's Task Extension adds new events, focused on Lola as property and defining the playmate as an equal to Lola.

TekknoTim's Addon adds new events for pet play and branding.

Kalmah's Extension has heavier and harsher bondage. It is outdated, has known issues, and might not work right. Use at your own risk.

Suspending & Resuming This Mod

This mod supports mod events to suspend and resume this mod's event processing, such as during capture. Suspending this mod is disruptive to gameplay, so it should not be done lightly, only for serious circumstances where the player and/or follower is held captive, such as defeat, capture, or imprisonment.

SendModEvent("SLTR-TrySuspend") nicely asks this mod to suspend its event processing. If the player is engaged in a task with a short deadline (typically 1 to 2 game hours), it will decline the request and the calling mod can try again later.

SendModEvent("SLTR-Suspend") tells this mod to suspend its event processing. If any short-term tasks are active, this mod will shut them down. The tasks might not end gracefully, but they should generally release the player character from any restraints they'd equipped.

SendModEvent("SLTR-Resume") tells this mod to resume its normal event processing. Any player tasks that had been forced to stop were terminated and will not resume.

What's New in Version 2.1.21

Released April 22

New: The current playmate is now assigned to the Submissive Lola faction xx0619E6 for easy reference by users of DAR or OAR. If you already have a playmate, using the "Master/Mistress?" topic will add the playmate to the faction.

New/Changed: During sweeping events, a broom will be added to your inventory and removed afterwards in case you want to use it for a sweeping mod. Clicking the broom for the sweeping mod counts toward sweeping for your owner. If you do not use a sweeping mod, clicking the broom counts as sweeping, but you won't see an animation. You can use any combination of clicking the broom or using the Clean power to fulfill your quota.

Changed: When becoming a hireling's slave in exchange for no hiring fee, the contract term is now fixed at one week rather than being a random 5 to 14 days.

Changed: If you became a hireling's slave in exchange for no hiring fee, you can rehire that person for free during the first week.

Fixed: Stopped an uncommon situation that could lead to Dangerous Thoughts notification spam.

2.1.20

Fixes related to the recently-added Purchase Debt feature.

- Your gold would disappear upon enslavement (unintended side effect of Purchase Debt).

2.1.19

Fixed: For the Pony Express quest, the steward delivery task broke due to a typo introduced in 2.1.17.
Fixed: Domestic events will no longer start while you're in heavy bondage.

2.1.18

New: Animation glitch fix toggle on the MCM Dancing page. If you have a game glitch where dance animations don't reliably start or stop, enable this. It stops your controls from being disabled during dancing, which can fix the glitch, but as a side effect the distracting "Talk" prompt as well as "Activate" prompts on nearby doors, furniture, or containers will be visible.

Changed: When the owner demands sex, you can suggest a better place nearby. The purpose is to avoid sex in bad spots like a steep slope, shallow water, a road, near enemies, or beside a corpse. It's not for postponing sex, so you can only delay it for a short time.

Changed: When you request sex and the owner agrees, you can suggest a better place nearby. Other events will not start while you're moving there, so your fun won't be canceled by being sent to fetch a bottle of ale.

Changed: When the Shieldmaiden's Ring is equipped, defiant responses were hidden. Now, where it makes sense, they're replaced with "I, um..." which, if selected, display a ring thought such as "You want to be good; good slaves always obey" and your only choice is the agreement topic.

Changed: You have 5 seconds to reposition yourself before punishment whipping starts. You'll see a notification.

Changed: Doubled the delay for palace boot licking when you select "it will be better over there" for more flexibility in choosing a spot.

Changed: Random whipping (when the "Whip rather than random zap" chance succeeds) will not occur above the "Shock reminders below this score" setting.

Changed: Removed the weapon reach adjustment to the whipping cane, which possibly negatively affects the Precision mod.

Fixed: Owners always refused to unlock a gag for you, even when you were not required to wear one.
Fixed: Prostitution statistics were including non-client sex.
Fixed: Missed a gender check on player's response to owner's demand for oral sex.

2.1.17

NOTE: Contract term has changed from a menu selection to min and max values. If your choice was anything other than No Contract, be sure to update your settings.

New: Purchase Debt is a new setting on the Mod Integration page for being bought at the slave action. You will owe your buyer this amount for buying you. After the auction, ALL OF YOUR GOLD WILL BE REMOVED, including from the Slave Property strongbox (no one is going to sell you into slavery and not take your gold). You will still have a contract, and while you have debt, your owner will not free you.

New: If the Butt Slap ("Slap da Butt") mod for LE or SE is detected, the owner will send you off with a slap on the butt for some tasks. If you complain to your owner about Nazeem, he will slap your butt and be properly guilty for the spanking he receives. In an ongoing game, you must rescan for mods on the Mod Integration MCM page for Butt Slap to be detected.

New: MCM punishment rule setting, "Shock reminders below this score". Default is 100. It controls the zap event, where your owner shocks you to remind you that you're a slave. The setting can reward high scores by exempting a well-trained slave.

New: MCM punishment rule setting, "Spanking chance", the default chance that punishment will be spanking rather than whipping.

New: For users of DAR or OAR, the current owner is now assigned to the Submissive Lola faction xx0619A3. If you're already a slave, the "Master/Mistress?" topic adds the owner to the faction.

Changed: Contract term has changed from a menu selection to min and max values.
Changed: Your owner will now make remarks while whipping you for punishment.
Changed: DD vibration on the player (from any source) should end whenever sex or combat begins.

2.1.16

Changed: Chance for sex during the Woof! event is slightly higher, with a bonus for NPC arousal.

Fixed: The cooldown for the Woof! quest wasn't updating.

2.1.15

Changed: The prostitution cooldown maximum is now 30 days (was 10 days in the previous version and 4 days prior to that). Increased the slider interval to 0.5 days. Increased the main town cooldown modifier slider to 30 days at half-day intervals.

Changed: Owners will sometimes remind you of the reasons you gave for serving at appropriate times, such as when being zapped if you said you like pain.

Fixed: The Woof! quest wasn't starting.

Fixed: The book for the Shieldmaiden's Ring wasn't being added to player inventory when the ring was acquired.

2.1.14

NOTE: In an existing game, the prostitution cooldown setting has changed (see below for details).

NOTE: In an existing game, if you already have a dragon bone, drop and pick it up to start Dragonbone Quest.
NOTE: If you use the Custom or Random setting for collar or gag, the index has changed due to new items in the list. Check your settings.

New: "Woof!", a new event. Crawl in a pet suit with a bone gag as a pet dog and be required to greet several townspeople who might fuck you (just people, no bestiality). Available in hold capitals when score is above 50, outdoors or in castles. Blocked by conflicting devices. The Perceptions.json file now has a "Doggy" section for this quest.

New: Dragonbone Quest, a non-repeatable quest triggered by picking up a dragon bone. Travel to five cities to earn respect and influence for your owner as a slayer of dragons. (You do not have to play a dragonborn character, but you do need dragon bones. A single bone will suffice.)

New: Dangerous Thoughts, a setting on the main page for periodic messages while the Strong Hand quest is running. If Strong Hand is already running in your game, change the setting to nudge this into action.

New: Entrepreneurism thrives in Skyrim! Introducing the hottest new item, the Dragonbone, a lady's best friend (men have also been known to discreetly purchase one "for a friend"). Craft 10 of these toys from one dragon bone at a smelter, doubling the value -- and your pleasure! They can be equipped. "Ride a Dragon Tonight!".

New: Ysolda didn't want a mammoth tusk so badly just to impress a merchant. Second only to the Dragonbone is the Mammoth Pleasure. Craft 4 of these toys from one mammoth bone, doubling your value! They can be equipped. "Can you handle a mammoth?"

New: Bad Service Gold Loss. New settings on the MCM Gold page allow the owner to take gold from you for failing to meet your daily quotas. Specify a flat amount and/or a fraction of your gold to lose. Designate containers where you store gold as stashes from which the owner can take some gold to punish you. These settings are all off by default (no change to your game).

New: A short one-time event where the owner simply imparts to you the wisdom of the four steps of submission. Available after score 20. Not available on any future owners.

New: A repeatable event available after Steps of Submission to test your knowledge and assess your progress.

New: A new player behavior rule, "No shouting in towns". Shouting is always allowed if you're in combat.

New: For Forced Prostitution, new settings to select a main town with a cooldown modifier. Have Working Slave trigger more often (or less) in this town.

New: "Report prostitution statistics", a setting in the Forced Prostitution MCM section for the chance that your owner will want you to give a detailed report about how many clients you had and how they used you. You do NOT have to remember anything. The numbers are automatically provided in your answers. Works well with follower frameworks that let the owner wander around while you work.

New: Slutty Sweeping, a toggle on the Poses page. Use GSPoses animation 331 rather than standard sweeping. Lola looks like she's barely working, but the way she's bent over, maybe the owner doesn't care. Requires GSPoses.

New: GS Poses Animation ID Overrides settings on the Poses page to change the animation IDs if you use a different version of GS Poses (the mod assumes LoversLab version 20 03).

New: "Dildo animation", a setting on the Poses page, to select a masturbation animation for the dildos used in Dragonbone Quest.

New/Changed: Prostitution cooldown has moved from the Rules page to join all the others on the Cooldowns page. Your old setting will be lost. This cooldown now behaves like all the others: its units are days, it makes use of the random cooldown, and setting it to zero disables the feature. The maximum value is now 10 days (was 4).

New/Changed: While the Strong Hand quest is active, speaking to a follower in the slave market who has not been your owner before will always cause the follower to ask you to become a slave, even if the setting to allow followers to ask is not selected. This starts a unique conversation. You can say not now or never ask again, of course. In an ongoing game, you must go to the Mod Integration page and refresh the mods list for this mod to recognize that you're in the slave market.

Changed: In keeping with Submissive Lola's playful nature, the clothes hiding prank now gives hints. It's a prank, not an ordeal, so the owner helps with "warmer" or "colder" clues. It's faster and more fun.
Changed: The Perceptions.json file has a new "Doggy" section for the Woof quest.
Changed: Nudity restrictions will not be checked while a crafting window is open, allowing you to temporarily wear enchanted crafting clothing or armor. If you see the "wearing forbidden items" warning just before using a workstation, stay in the crafting screen for at least 20 seconds to renew the 20-second grace period or risk being punished as soon as you exit crafting.
Changed: Added yokes to hand restraint device choices.
Changed: Added leather and ebonite posture collars to the collar list.
Changed: Added red and pink bone gag choices.
Changed: Added 5 "Why do you serve?" reasons: sex, helpless, humiliation, cruelty, and respect for power. Removed "what I deserve".
Changed: If the owner gagged you but you have a time-critical short-term task where you might need to talk, you can ask to end the gag punishment (Master? --> It's really important. --> Will you reconsider an order?). This costs half a score point.
Changed: The Submissive Lola book has a distinctive cover.
Changed: Copies of Submissive Lola can be found in Silverblood Inn (under the bar counter), and Candlehearth Hall (upstairs).
Changed: Key and lockpick restrictions are now checked and enforced when enslavement begins.
Changed: Harming the owner will ignore conjuration spells, so a hit with Soul Trap is okay.
Changed: Rather than make you struggle free, owners will agree to remove non-locking armbinders if you're in combat.
Changed: Offering service will check for being stuck in combat, which interferes with the scene.

Changed: If Lola is a bimbo (Bimbos of Skyrim) and not love sick, the owner will comment on this when starting prostitution.
Changed: On the MCM Gold page, the Adventuring Slave section and Contracts section moved below Loot Sharing.
Changed: Perceptions (messages displayed during the Parade, Pony Express, and Woof events) will no longer display a warning if the file is not found. Players who don't want these messages can delete the Perceptions.json file to turn them off without seeing any warnings.
Changed: Textured the riding crop to look more leather-like and rotated the display version 90 degrees so the tip is more visible.
Removed: Forced Prostitution Chance. It had little real value, since it was checked every time you move between cells.
Fixed: Don't enforce home nudity requirements for unowned Arch-Mage quarters.
