xcl [XCL] X-Change Life Mod Loader Utility
This is the official utility that can be used for applying mods to the game X-Change Life.
Find mod loader usage details here: https://gitgud.io/xchange-life/mod-loader/-/wikis/home
And a step-by-step guide for applying mods with this utility: https://x-change.life/wiki/docs/mods/
Developed by @togashikokujin who is a primary contributor to the X-Change Life project.
If you feel like buying me a coffee, https://ko-fi.com/togashikokujin. The mod loader will always stay free, though.
Starting with version 2.4.0, we had to up the Java version from 8 to 17. If you get the oh-so-helpful "A Java exception has occurred" when running the jar version, you will need to install a newer JRE. https://www.oracle.com/java/technologies/downloads/ is a good place for that if you don't already know what you're doing and have other preferences.
NOTE: If you're using the installable version of the mod loader, be sure to install it to a folder other than your XCL folder. It will delete everything in its folder when you install updates. We do not have control over this aspect of the installer.

[XCL] Brrtz - Buddies Around mod
By brandonrrtz
This is a mod that allows the player to find their fuck buddies around Summer City.
You can choose the frequency at which the generic NPCs will be replaced by the generic NPCs you already have a thing for. The odds vary from ALWAYS to 1/24, and this encounter happens only once a day, per buddy. The odd increase per buddy you have, if you have more buddies, they're going to find you -also, it is easy to find them at the Electric Pickle. It does not change the interaction, and there is no penalty (for now) to reject these encounters. If you accept the encounter and fail to satisfy him/her, you can lose attraction and friendship. If the NPC is satisfied, you can improve attraction and friendship. Actions towards your buddy can count negatively, ( Say no to them, and it can have consequences; they can even break up with you.) Your buddies don't like single mothers (of children other than their own), and will dislike that you have a lot of other boyfriends. Also, it has an integration with the X-Press mod, and uses a version of the RDA bf Editor mod integrated in the X-Press mod. It does not work for coworkers or Bruce. It can be a way to keep your buddies even when dominated by stepdad. You can start interactions with stepdad in the right conditions, or he may do the same More buddy interactions and dynamics. Your buddies can now call you to their homes when you are in public. Refusing this calls can be very costly if you are in a suggestive presentation or your buddy is more sensitive to being cheated If they wanna break with you, you may beg to keep the relationship So, having a fuck buddy now has a cost and is harder to maintain - you can choose the frequency of the proposals, but they are mediated by his characteristics and the intensity of the relationship You can offer you phone for a NPC whitout having sex with them, you can use it to test than and discover more about them, or as a way to try to get rid of them. Active sex (where chose positions) in every vanue.
You can also invite them to your home and avoid geting caught (by other buddies, your family can still catch it).
He may even invite you to his home (no chance of getting caught - for now).
Charm him into paying for the room, or pay the $200 yourself (it costs you some masculinity and identity).
Phone calls: Men with your number call you in the afternoon or evening (a dominant man may call the same day, a sociable one that evening). you choose the frequency. (Off, Rare, Normal, Frequent, Always).
Stronger affective bonds with fuckbuddies Getting caught: During a bar quickie or in a private room, another buddy who really likes you can walk in on you.
Intergration with Athena mods (X-fans, Backpage, X-pres):
for that use ONLY the "Brrtz - Buddies Around v3.39 X-integrated"
Filming with a man you already have something with makes him a fuckbuddy.
Your collabs and streams can make your other men suspicious
When giving you number, you can also add them in Frontpage.
Suggested mods
X-press Stepdad crempie Baby album mod To fully integrate the mods, Buddies Around has to be loaded AFTER the X-press mod (RDA bf editor is not needed, but recommended) And it will work better in a new game.
Future plans: Add interactions when being caught at your NPC's home Integration with Backpage.
My thanks for
AthenaWilliams who created X-press, and
FloRDA , who created the RDA bf Editor.
both mods that I used in this new version.
---------------------------
So far, no mod conflicts; it only uses _around passages.
--------------------------
As always, feel free to use, edit, update, and upload new versions, or to incorporate it in your own mods or build upon this one.
I love to see the creative potential of the community.

[XCL] Brrtz - Baby Album Mod
By brandonrrtz
This is a mod so you can keep track of the children you have with npc's. It currently has a capacity for 24 babies. But I may expand it if needed/requested.
Versions after 2.0 have no limit on babies! Works for both Character pregnancy and NPC pregnancies.
Nothing much changes in the gameplay except decisions of how to handle NPC labor scenes (these scenes also deny the first choice of what to do in the morning, but you can edit what you will do in the rest of the day). The mod changes some details about the baby data randomization, but for the character's pregnancy, it is purely aesthetic.
Hope you all enjoy.
Important: This mod only works properly in new saves of the game (if there are no babies and no pregnancies in your current save, it can be functional, yet a little buggy)
(If the code looks a little "strange," I ask for a little patience; it's my first one. I tested the code a lot, and it should work fine with almost all mods.)
Any bugs or misspellings, send them to the Discord channel!
Recommended companion mods:
Kokopely's Servant
Twin pregnancy mod
Also integrated with:
- Impregnation notification mod
- Stepdad Creampie mod (recommended to play with Buddies Around mod also).

[XCL] [0.25.9] Home Computer Expanded
Home Computer Expanded
AphOS: a whole desktop behind "Use computer"
What it is
Clicking "Use computer" no longer gives you a list of links. It boots AphOS, a full-screen 1998-flavoured desktop run by Aphrodite herself: a wallpaper, icons, a Start menu, a taskbar with your money and the day, a browser with an address bar, history and bookmarks, and a hologram of Aphrodite in the corner who has an opinion about everything you open. Every program and website the base game and your other mods already put on the computer still works, inside the window. On top of that AphOS adds its own websites and programs, most of them built on the mods you already have installed.
Two files: Home Computer Expanded (the mod) and the optional Home Computer Expanded-Media (wallpapers: Summer City, the 18+ sets, the pill sets, the mod sets and community submissions). The mod works without the media pack; you just get the built-in wallpapers.
Requirements
X-Change Life 0.25.6 or newer. Nothing else is required. Every integration below switches itself on when that mod is present and stays out of the way when it is not.
The desktop
Two chrome styles: Retro bars (with scanlines) and Holographic glass, each with three app looks (Retro 1998, Retro Chrome, GeoCities; Terminal, Outrun, Holo) that restyle every site and program, ours and third-party. Colour themes (Aphrodite, Nyx, Pelican, Nano, Bimbo, Foam) and a custom colour picker. Wallpapers with a slideshow, a custom wallpaper from any file on your device, and the media pack's sets. Aphrodite as an assistant: greeting at boot, remarks per app, per wallpaper, on wins and losses. Can be switched off. Boot and shutdown screens too. A real browser: type in the address bar and matching sites appear, back and forward work, bookmarks for every site. Display Properties for all of it, saved with the game, mirrored on the device. Works on phones: the same layouts and looks, wrapped and scaled for a small screen, with touch controls (long press to flag in Minesweeper, tap-to-play cards). Programs
Media Player: the porn you own from Serendipity, in a file browser with a proper player, styled per look. AphTube: makeup tutorials, streams and shorts. Created by Chloeana for Morning Makeover and ported here with her blessing. Eudora: mail. The Postmaster Mail client from DatDude's Loose Ends (DatDude69), given a 1998 mail window. Aphrodite Calendar: rent Sunday, allowance, the loan, when your pill wears off, pregnancy, parcels, X-Change Battles dates. Trophy Room: every achievement from every pack you have installed, grouped by pack, hidden ones kept hidden, plus your trading card binder by set. Solitaire and Minesweeper. Aphrodite keeps your times. Contacts, Cock Roulette, She-Q, NanoBots and everything else the base computer offers, all inside the window. Websites
Summer City Pharmacy (pharmacy.sc): every pill shelf the game can see, delivered next morning by X-Press, with a 3D carton you can open, the trading card inside, and a written note for every side effect (about 55 with a full mod set) that opens to a full wiki article. Bonwit Teller and Serendipity Comics online: the counters' own stock, porn disks in a jewel case, cards in a toploader. Pelican Trust Online: pay rent and Alexia's allowance from your chair, manage the Compliance Loan, and see your Silent Partner positions. Blockbuster Direct: every tape on the wall, rented by post, in a VHS clamshell you can open. Summer City Gazette: a newspaper written from your save: the Foam, the office board, your pill, the loan, Battles, the shelter, the Farms, your achievements. Summer City Wiki: the city, its places, its pills and its people, with an article for every side effect. X-Change Intranet: once you are hired at X-Change: your record, the weekly board, the DynaPill demo calendar, the handbook. X-Press Delivery: parcel tracking and the courier job. X-Battles, Neon Desires, Scentsibility, Mind Games, Summer City Stereo, Summer City Farms, SC Animal Shelter, Keyholder: see the integrations. Foam Market, Looksy, X-Fans, Backpage, Frontpage: the existing sites, skinned and bookmarked. Mod integrations and their creators
Every one of these appears only when that mod is installed. Nothing here copies another mod's content; AphOS reads their own registries and calls their own passages, so their prices, stock and rules stay theirs.
Morning Makeover by Chloeana: AphTube is her creation, ported with consent. Its tutorials teach the base looks. DatDude's Loose Ends by DatDude69: Postmaster Mail becomes Eudora. X-Change Battles and BattlesCards by Dragon42/Shadowspawn: X-Battles.sc sells booster packs (a foil pouch you can turn), singles and starter decks, opened on delivery by the mod's own draw, and shows the rankings and the season. Battles dates are on the Calendar and in the Gazette's sport page. Get Caged: Redux by DatDude69: Keyholder.sc: your lock, what the cage has taken, your lifetime record, a pledge Aphrodite holds you to, and the X-Cage pill by post. Blue Pills! by DatDude69 and Iggy: the blue shelf in the Pharmacy, delivered into the mod's inventory. U666 Drug Framework and the U666 drugs and pills by Usagi Triplesix: every store drug on the Pharmacy shelves, one section per category, stock drawn from the counter; the U666 pills merge into the X-Change shelf; their side effects have notes and wiki pages. U666 Effects Core by usagitriplesix: its effects are on the side effect pages. U666 Summer City Stereo by Usagi Triplesix: Summer City Stereo online: Camelot's rack by genre with the mod's own previews, the SC-30 from Radio Shack, the radio dial, a cassette case you can open. DP Pills by DefectPetite: on the Pharmacy shelf. DatDude's Oral Pill by DatDude69: on the Pharmacy shelf, and among the side effects. Mystery Pill by Athena: on the Pharmacy shelf. X-Change Goth by Athena: Nyx's counter as its own Pharmacy shelf. Neon Desires by Athena: Candy's counter online, thirteen toys and the X-Change chokers as 3D models, every item read from the mod's own registry (a third-party registered toy appears too). Scentsibility by Athena: the Fragrance Hall, the drugstore shelf and the thrift basket, bottles by concentration. Mind Games Store by Athena / EdgeSkylark: games, the PC rack, the adult section and the joystick, cases and joystick in 3D. X-Press Delivery by Athena: every shop on AphOS delivers through it, and xpress.sc tracks your parcels and your courier record. Summer City Farms by Athena: the farm's site with your record, plus a wallpaper wall from the media pack. X-Change Life Pets by Athena: the SC Animal Shelter's site: this week's intake, your animals, the rules. Silent Partner by Athena: your positions on Pelican Trust's private placements page and in the Gazette. Buying and selling stays at the branch, by the mod's own rule. X-Fans, Backpage and Frontpage by Athena: skinned as sites, in every look, with their own bookmarks. Last Call by Athena and any other mod that puts a button on the base computer: it shows up as a program or a site automatically. BLACKED by Chloeana, Pegged by Athena / ithrob, Cucked by Chloeana / Melodious Melia, Bad Habits by Athena / Melodious Melia, Bar Girls on X Change by Athena / datdude69, Paradise Mall Expanded, LESBIANED, Partners and every other pack with achievements or side effects: their achievements are in the Trophy Room and their side effects have notes and wiki pages. The media pack (Home Computer Expanded-Media 1.0.0)
Wallpaper sets: Summer City; 18+ naked and sexy (four races, women, trans women and men); the pill sets (Breeder, Bimbo, Goth, Show-Off, Compliant); BLACKED (Chloeana's mod), LESBIANED (Athena), Cucked (Chloeana / Melodious Melia), X-Fans (Athena), Summer City Farms (Athena); DynaPill ads; and Community wallpapers sent in by creators, credited by name on every tile. First community set: Purple Lady AI.
Want yours in? Send them to me. A folder per creator, any size, 16:9 preferred.
For modders
AphOS has a small, documented contract, all in DESIGN.md in the mod folder: register a site or program from a passage tagged [hce_apps] (or HCE.register from JS), add a pharmacy shelf with [hce_pharmacy], a side effect note with [hce_pharmacy_notes], a wiki article with [hce_wiki], a Gazette story with [hce_gazette], a calendar entry with [hce_calendar], deliver your own goods through X-Press with [hce_deliver]. Any mod's existing computer button already appears without doing anything. The full guide is MODDERS-GUIDE.pdf, next to the mod.
Install
Put both .xcl files in your mods folder and load them with the Mod Loader. The media pack is optional. Existing saves are fine; the desktop rebuilds its registries when it opens.

[XCL] [0.25.9] Beta Blockers: Offline
Phil has had a package on the shelf since 0.25 that offline players could never buy. Little nanobots that swim up to your visual cortex and scramble every bare lady-scenery into a nice Nano-approved pixel mosaic. On x-change.life it works. Everywhere else, Phil shrugs.
This mod makes Beta Blockers work offline. Buy them at Nano Nano for $199, sit through the spiel, and from then on every bare breast and pussy on your screen is covered. Removal is $5000, same as online. Both of the base game's Beta Blockers achievements unlock.
EXACTLY WHAT PHIL PROMISED
Tits get pixels. Pussy gets pixels. Nothing else does. Cocks are never touched. Phil was specific about that, and so is the mod: a cock inside a censored area is cut out of the censor, so it stays visible with pixels around it. The wives paid for that one. The boys occasionally miss. A glimpse now and then is in the brochure. The base game's own nude stills are the exception: the handful the detector cannot read carry hand-placed boxes, so the pictures you see at every "examine yourself" are always covered. IT WORKS ON EVERYTHING, INCLUDING OTHER MODS
There is no censored media pack. The online version swaps every picture for a pre-censored copy on the server; this mod instead watches what is on your screen and finds the parts as they appear. Stills, video, the paper doll in your sidebar, whatever a scene puts in front of you. Because it never needs to know where a picture came from, media added by other mods is covered exactly the same way. Nothing uncensored ever flashes. A new picture is covered whole until the detector has looked at it, which on a normal machine is a frame or two. THIRTEEN CENSOR STYLES
Mosaic is the default and the one Phil describes. The rest are yours to pick in Mod Options, with a live preview that uses the same code that paints the game: Solid Box, Mosaic, Blur, Static, Glitch, RGB Shift, Horror, Terminal Lock, Neon Circuit, Progress Bar, Privacy Tape, Windows Error, and Custom Image (any picture you drop into the mod's img folder). Tuning: block size, detector confidence, how often a playing video is re-checked, how much each box is padded, the accent colour for the flat styles. Behaviour: Phil's exception (the cock cut-out), a strict mode that also covers bare butts and anus, and a debug view that draws every raw detection with its class and confidence. WHAT IT NEEDS
Any machine that plays the game handles stills. Smooth video wants a browser with WebGPU, which every current Chrome, Edge and Electron build has; without it the mod still works on the CPU, and the video re-check slider is there if the boxes lag. About 50 MB loads once when the treatment is installed. The status line at the top of the settings tab tells you which backend you got and how long a look takes. Compatibility
Requires X-Change Life 0.25.6 or newer. No media pack No base passage is overwritten and no advice is installed. The store, purchase, removal, both continuation passages and both achievements run through the base game's own code The treatment flag is the base game's own, so a save carried to or from x-change.life behaves exactly as it does there, and a save from there works here Settings are a player preference kept in the browser, not the save For modders: XCLBB.styles.register adds a censor style, XCLBB.overrides.register adds hand-placed boxes for your own media. See the README Tested in-engine on 0.25.9 against a full load order Third-party components, both MIT: the hs-yx-real-320 YOLOX detector from the Hotscreen project and onnxruntime-web 1.29.0 by Microsoft. Licence texts ship inside the mod. Works only on the XCL Desktop Launcher or Mod Loader server, does not work by running the .html file If you want it working with the .html file the best way to do it is the following: Create a shortcut to Chrome.exe on your desktop, right click it and click properties. In target paste the following, replacing the paths with paths releveant to your PC: "C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --allow-file-access-from-files --user-data-dir="C:\Users\athena\AppData\Local\XCL-Chrome" "F:\XCL v0.25 Full Download Mod Testing\modded\X-Change Life.html"
Close any open instances of Chrome.
Click the shortcut and you're ready to go
This will mean when you open that shortcut, it opens Chrome, with a flag that disables CORS within files on your PC (note this mod is entirely local, it just loads 2 Computer Vision Models to detect body parts to censor, which is what CORS is flagging) . It opens a new Chrome profile which will mean its a seperate Chrome instance from your normal Chrome profile, and it will open the .html file for you when you click on the shortcut

X-Lifestyle Core
By BinaryMisfit
X-Lifestyle Core is a foundation mod -- shared infrastructure a family of X-Lifestyle mods and utilities will build on, not a content mod itself. It's genuinely early: most of what's built so far is plumbing for other mods, with just enough live now that you'll actually notice it in play. Each feature below follows the same shape: what it does in plain terms, then a collapsed "Developer Guide" spoiler with the actual API for anyone building their own X-Lifestyle mod against it. Skip the spoilers if you're just here to play.
What's here now (live in this release)
Day-start sidebar notes
Restyles the base game's own daily reminders (fitness decay, "It's a work day.", laundry, scheduled demos, ...) into a themed banner, plus a post-it note other X-Lifestyle mods can post their own short-lived reminders to. Up to 15 posted notes render at once, spilling into extra notes below the button row once there are more than 5.
Two widgets, both auto-rendered at day-start -- a read-only notices banner (the base game's own captured reminder text) and a post-it board other mods post to.
Post from your own Twee content -- first argument is the message, second is how many day-starts it stays visible (including today):
```twee (bmft_sticky_note_post: "Callie will be at the gym today.", 1) ```
Posting the exact same text again just refreshes its expiry instead of adding a duplicate line.
Same thing from JS, if you're not in a Twee passage:
```js window.BMFT.StickyNotes.post(message, days); ```
Want a one-off toast instead of a standing line? This fires the base game's own sticky notification directly, no persistence:
```twee (bmft_sticky_note_notify: "Pills go on sale today.") ```
Up to 15 messages across every addon combined render at once, newest-first, FIFO past that cap. Both macros are always registered and never throw for a caller-side reason outside bad arguments -- if this feature is ever toggled off inside Core, posting silently does nothing rather than erroring, so nothing in your own mod needs to check first.
Built-in day-start notices
Riding that same sidebar note: which pill (if any) the Pharmacy has on sale today, whether Salvation Armani restocked its racks, and whether your currently active pill wears off today (naming which one, unless it's a spiked pill you haven't identified yet -- in which case it stays a mystery, same as everywhere else in the game). This one's internal orchestration, not something another mod calls into, so there's no separate developer API for it beyond the sticky-note board it posts through above.
Character Dossier tab
A basic tab (your body traits as chips, a plain pronoun row) -- it shows up now purely because the features above are live. Its own dedicated content (a per-pill pronoun picker, a preference-axis system) is still in development, gated off pending more work -- see "What's planned" below. Not an API surface itself, so no developer guide here either.
Shared logging entry point
Lets other X-Lifestyle mod authors log through one shared convention instead of raw console calls, so every mod in the family tags its console output the same way. Not player-visible on its own.
From your own JS:
```js window.BMFT.Log.warn("[YourMod]", "something degraded, here's why"); ```
Same thing from Twee:
```twee (bmft_log: "[YourMod]", "warn", "something degraded, here's why") ```
Levels are debug, info, warn, and error. Error and warn print in every build, including a real release -- keep them rare and genuinely actionable. Debug and info only print in a testing build, but every call (printed or not) still lands in a capped ring buffer a shared debug console can dump. Not gated by a feature flag -- this is dev/debug infrastructure, not player-facing behavior, so it's always live.
A quick note on how I build this: I use AI (Claude Code) as a tool throughout development -- writing code, drafting docs, researching how the base game actually works. Every change gets reviewed before it ships, and I take real care to keep that process from producing anything abusive, unsafe, or careless. But I'll say it plainly: humans make mistakes, and AI makes mistakes too. If something looks wrong, undocumented, or off, tell me -- that's exactly the kind of feedback that makes this better.
Built with help from the X-Lifestyle MCP -- grounded, citable X-Change Life modding knowledge for AI assistants.
[XCL] U666 Mod Settings Organizer
By emes
Cleans up the Mod Settings screen when you're using a pile of U666 mods.
Author: usagitriplesix
U666 Mod Settings Organizer
For X-Change Life 0.25.9
If you use several of my mods, the XCL Mod Settings screen can get crowded pretty quickly.
U666 Mod Settings Organizer is a small UI-only mod that groups related settings pages together into more useful categories.
It does not change the settings themselves, add gameplay mechanics, or require you to install any particular U666 mod.
It just makes the settings screen easier to navigate.
What It Does
Normally, every mod that supplies a mod_options page can appear as its own entry in Mod Settings.
The Organizer collects supported settings pages into larger families such as:
Spike Fun
Drugs & Effects
Bar Girl Experience
Work & Office
Bruce Experience
Alexia Life Expansion
Change Contagion
Character, Interests & Appearance
Gameplay Tweaks
Emporium & Private Practice
There is also support for a few additional compatibility groups used in larger mod setups.
Only settings pages that actually exist in your installation are shown.
So if you install the Organizer without, for example, Bruce Expansion or Change Contagion, it will simply ignore those entries rather than creating empty tabs.
What It Does NOT Do
The Organizer does not:
change any gameplay variables;
alter another mod's default settings;
add settings that the original mod doesn't provide;
require every supported mod to be installed;
make incompatible mods compatible;
affect saves or game progression.
Removing the Organizer does not remove or reset the settings belonging to your other mods.
Those settings are still owned by the individual mods.
Why Use It?
This is primarily a convenience mod for players using several parts of the U666 collection.
For example, a Spike Fun-heavy installation may have settings contributed by:
Spike Fun itself;
Drink Spike Redux;
optional Spike Fun modules;
HGH-related systems;
other Spike Fun integrations.
Instead of scattering those pages throughout Mod Settings, the Organizer can present them together under the appropriate category.
The same applies to larger setups involving the Bar Girl Experience, DynaPill workplace mods, Change Contagion, Bruce content, and other U666 systems.
Compatibility
The Organizer is designed to safely ignore supported settings passages that are not installed.
It also includes a small amount of compatibility support for older or external settings pages that have appeared in my larger playtest setups.
Those compatibility entries do not install those mods or create settings for them; they are only used if the corresponding settings page already exists.
Developer and test-only controls are intentionally kept separate from the normal player-facing settings groups.
Requirements
X-Change Life 0.25.9
There are no required U666 mods.
Install it whether you're using two of my mods or twenty.
Installation
Install U666 Mod Settings Organizer through Mod Loader.
No media package is required.
There is nothing else to configure—the Organizer automatically groups supported settings pages when the game loads.
[XCL] [0.25.9] Partners
You always knew roughly how many. You never had it written down.
Partners adds a tab to the Status menu, sitting next to Sex, and keeps a diary of everyone you have been with. Not a counter and not a contact list. A record, in your own voice, of what happened and how it ended.
ONE ENTRY PER NIGHT, NOT PER ACT
An evening at the Broken Drum is one line in the book, however it went. What you did with him is folded into the sentence, and the rest is a click away: how many times you came, every act in order, how it finished, what you know about him, and whether you are still someone he knows.
The entries are grouped by day, dated to the weekday, and placed by time of day, so a week of your life reads back the way you lived it.
IT KEEPS THE ONES THE NIGHT STANDS
The game only remembers people you keep. A man you met at the bar once and never saw again is gone the moment the scene ends.
Partners takes their name and their face at the moment it happens and keeps them. Years later he is still in the book, still with his photograph, still with what he did. Named characters, bar girls, your coworkers, the mall cop, and whoever your other mods put in front of you are all in there beside him.
IT CATCHES EVERYTHING, INCLUDING OTHER MODS
The bar and the club, your own bedroom, the beach, the office, the mall, the pharmacy, the story chapters, and the nights you spent on your own.
It works by watching what the game itself counts rather than by hooking one scene at a time, so a scene it has never heard of still lands in the book. That includes content from other mods. If you are running LESBIANED, the women are in there. If you are running BLACKED, so are its men, with their own portraits.
IT DOES NOT INVENT A PAST
Install it on a save you have played for a hundred days and the book opens empty. It will not read your old totals and make up encounters you never had. It starts from the moment you install it and fills in as you go.
FILTERS AND SETTINGS
Filter the book by who it was, by how it ended, or by whether you were with someone or on your own.
In Mod Options: turn the log off entirely without losing what is already written, keep solo entries in or out, and choose how much history to carry in your save.
Compatibility
Requires X-Change Life 0.25.9 or newer. Built and tested in-engine across the bar, bedroom, girl and solo scenes, and against base, LESBIANED and BLACKED characters, on a full load order1602 downloads
[XCL] [0.25.9] Quality of Life Cheats
By KellyWinter
Increases the number of cheats with some QoL improvement.
I was annoyed that I never had saves last long enough to get high enough manicure level to use the longer acrylics lol.
This mod adds some of the newer skills to the cheat menu as well as some other Quality of Life features.
All AI made. I can't read code. I can't write code.
I do, however, write much better prose than AI which is why I wrote this part myself lol.
The AI made some interesting choices in terms of the layout that I may try and fix later and the aesthetics are lacking in the makeup spots, but from what I can tell it's all functional.
Hardly tested and not guaranteed as bug-free.
LMK if there are other cheats that you think should be added?
Diagnostic Tools
By Kyatinoa
Diagnostic Menu — v7.2.10
A full-featured debugging and save-health suite that lives inside the game. Every tool is reached from the settings menu → Tools, with consistent navigation back to the central hub.
No external software needed. No browser Dev tools required. If something's wrong with your save, your stats, or your event flags — there's a panel for it. And as of
7.2, the mod doesn't just wait for you to open a panel a set of always-on live detectors watches for errors, soft locks, freezes, and broken save loads while you play, and files what it finds into the error log automatically.
Compatibility & install
This is a standalone mod, and it is compatible with Fertile Ditz. You can install it on its own for vanilla X-Change Life, or run it alongside Fertile Ditz.
- **Standalone:** works on vanilla X-Change Life with the full base-game toolset.
- **Alongside Fertile Ditz:** it auto-detects FD in your save and appends the FD-specific panels (FD Core, FD NPCs, FD Systems). Vanilla players never see those.
- **Load order:** load this after Fertile Ditz, Pregmod, and Creampie Overhaul (declared in the mod meta). Requires base game 0.25+.
- Purpose: it helps fix issues with game saves and does general diagnostics of mods while you play — finding bugs and coding errors.
- ⚠️ Use Auto-Fix at your own risk — it can and will change save state. Auto-Fix only offers a repair when it detects an actual problem, but write operations have no undo. Save first. For anything you're unsure about, review it in the Interactive Console (read-only snippets) before applying.
Feedback: diagnostic issue reports are welcome — post them in the Discord channel **Diagnostic Tool**.
What's new since 7.0.x (for returning users)
🛰️ Live Detectors (7.2.0) — nine background detectors (D1–D9) that catch what the old error watcher structurally couldn't: console-only errors, softlocked screens,
multi-second freezes, save loads where init hooks were silently skipped, and calls to macros that don't exist. All are designed to be free when idle; the master switch is in the panel (default ON).
- Live source-map inference (7.2.1) — the source map now pulls from your actual game at load time instead of relying only on a baked snapshot. Mods the snapshot never knew about still get attributed (it correctly picked up AlexiasCut in live testing), and anything it can't prove is honestly labeled as unattributed instead of guessed.
- Source map is now a `.js` file (7.2.0) — parsed once per browser session instead of ~300 KB of inline script re-parsed on every save load. Noticeably lighter loads for source-map users.
- One error pipeline — console errors, DOM errors, stalls, softlocks, and load-health entries all flow through the same log with the same de-duplication, taxonomy, and per-mod attribution, so the Error Log Viewer and Export Report show everything in one place.
Diagnostic Panels
🏠 Diagnostic Hub
Central navigation with links to every diagnostic panel plus a cheats menu for testing and recovery. Every panel has consistent navigation back to the hub — and a clean exit back to the game/settings with no soft-lock.
⚡ Quick Health Check
At-a-glance scan of essential game state: day/time, character data, money, pregnancy, pill status, birth counter, and event arrays. Catches the most common problems fast.
🛰️ Live Detectors (NEW in 7.2)
Nine background watchdogs that catch problems the moment they happen and file them into the error log — with the passage, the mod (when the source map is installed), and a probable cause attached. Found in Prototypes → Live Detectors; the master switch defaults to ON. Each detector was built around one rule: **zero cost when idle** — they fire on rare events, not every frame.
- D1 — Console error capture. The game engine logs some errors only to the browser console — errors inside day-advance processing, dialogs, and deferred content that never touch the visible page. D1 captures those into the same log as everything else (with a noise filter for known-harmless chatter), so "invisible" errors stop being invisible. This class of bug included a real calendar error that never appeared on any screen.
- D2 — Softlock detector. "No more options show up" is the most-reported symptom there is. D2 checks each screen after it settles; if a passage renders with zero clickable elements, it files a SOFTLOCK CANDIDATE entry naming the passage — and attaches the most recent error, which is almost always the cause. Your softlock report now writes itself.
- D3 — Error-abort tagging.** In this engine, one error aborts the *rest* of that render — the red box and the broken screen that follows are one bug. D3 estimates how many macros each captured error silently killed ("this error skipped ~N macros") and links the error to any softlock it caused.
- D4 — Flight recorder. A rolling trail of your recent clicks and passage transitions (capped, tiny). "What did you click before it broke?" — the first question in every bug report — now has a recorded answer, included in exports.
- D5 — Stall sentinel. Multi-second freezes produce zero errors — the game just hangs. D5 uses the browser's own performance monitoring to log any main-thread block over 2 seconds (configurable) with its duration and what was being processed. A 150-second load stall that once took weeks of anecdotes to pin down now shows up as one log line.
- D6 — Passage breadcrumb. Shared infrastructure: tracks the last passage the engine fetched, so stall and load entries can say where the game was. (Presented honestly as "the last passage fetched before the event", never as "the culprit".)
- D7 — Init-coverage audit. When a save loads, dozens of initialization hooks are supposed to run — and an early error can silently skip a whole block of them, leaving your save subtly incomplete (the classic "her data is missing half its keys" bug). D7 counts them on every load and reports "Save load: 171/173 init hooks ran — MISSING: …", pointing at the error that caused the gap. Nothing else can detect a skipped hook, because a skipped hook produces no error.
- D8 — Datamap-contract scanner. A registry of "this datamap must contain these keys" contracts, swept on demand — because in this engine a missing key isn't a harmless default; it's an error that breaks the next screen that reads it. Includes a dedicated rule for the Creampie Overhaul calendar window (a real field bug this would have caught before the player ever opened the day screen). Other mods can register their own contracts.
- D9 — Missing-macro scan. Finds calls to custom macros that no installed mod actually provides — a bug class that hides in rarely-visited screens and only explodes when you finally reach one. One manual-run sweep checks every passage in the game in well under a second; on its first live run it automatically found a field-reported bug plus nine more latent ones.
🧍 Character & Side Effects
Dumps your full character datamap, stat breakdowns (base + buffs), and runs integrity checks on side effects. Finds orphans, duplicates, and unregistered entries that would crash the stat page.
🌱 Mod Systems
Deep inspection of mod systems: core variables, pill database.
🎮 Base Game & Save
Scans NPC databases, family NPCs, game systems, events, outfits, positions, and loaded mods. Quick top-level overview of base-game data integrity.
🛠️ Auto-Fix
One-click repairs for detected issues. Only shows fix buttons when actual problems are found, so you can't accidentally break things. Pairs with the Interactive Console's read-only repair snippets when you want to review what a fix does before running it.
🩹 Recover from Old Bad Fixes
Targeted repair page for damage caused by earlier diagnostic versions.
A previous Auto-Fix release had two false positives that wrote bad shapes into base-game data:
- `position_inventory` was being reset to an empty array when it should be a datamap
- `memory` was being reset to 0 when "none" is a valid recall-miss state
This page scans for those exact damage signatures, leaves valid states alone, and offers fixes only when actually broken.
Non-destructive — only restores valid base-game shapes. Safe to run on a healthy save (it'll just report everything as healthy and do nothing). Useful if you played on an older diagnostic build and now see crashes in sex scenes or recall events.
🩺 Save Health Diagnostic
The big one. Runs all 16 diagnostic sections in a single pass with a table of contents for navigation. Covers everything from core state to gauntlet NPC bloat cleanup.
💾 Save & Game State Scanner
Standalone tool with a save-slot selector. Pulls live data straight from your browser's IndexedDB, so you can analyze any save slot without loading it.
Includes:
- Variable size analysis
- Save bloat detection
- Gauntlet cleanup tools
- Color-coded size bars per slot
📦 Save Size
Focused save-bloat audit for the currently loaded save. Measures each variable's serialized size, sorts by largest first, and flags oversized data so you can see exactly what's eating up your save file. Lighter and faster than the full Save Scanner when you just need to know "what's making my save big."
🤰 Pregnancy Timeline
Visual timeline of your current pregnancy status plus full birth history, pulled from the same source the base game's Sex Stats page uses — so the numbers always match. Detects FD / base-game sync drift and points you to the fix.
🔧 Bracket Balance Checker
Scans passage source code at runtime for mismatched [ ] brackets.
- Basic mode — shows counts
- Advanced mode — pinpoints exactly which brackets are unmatched with line numbers, depth tracing, and full passage source
Filter by Fertile Ditz only or base game / other mods.
🔗 Passage Link Checker
Finds broken (goto:), ($cs:), (display:), and (link:) references.
- Basic mode — shows the line with each broken reference
- Advanced mode — displays the full passage source with broken references highlighted in red and line-numbered
Uses the source map (when installed) for accurate per-passage mod attribution, so you'll never get false positives from other mods that happen to share keywords.
🏷️ Tag Analyzer
Scans every passage in the game and groups them by tag. See exactly which passages run on header, footer, startup, nightly, etc. Useful for tracking down what's executing every turn and finding tag-related bloat.
👥 NPC Relationships Viewer
Lists every NPC in your save with expandable cards showing dom, attraction, friendship, and respect.
- Edit any stat with ±5 buttons or reset
- Delete corrupted entries
- Filter by All or Corrupted
- Choose how many to show
📜 Passage History
Shows where you've been, using Harlowe's own visit log.
- Recent passages list
- Full search across all 9000+ passages
- Undo-history trimming tools (keep last 100 / 50 / 20) to shrink bloated saves
- Show 10 / 25 / 50 / All
📸 Variable Snapshot
Capture full game state at one moment, do something in-game, then come back and compare. Shows added / removed / changed variables with before/after values.
Pairs with a built-in performance timer that counts headers, footers, and event-tag passages firing per turn and measures elapsed time and turn-rate (Fast / Moderate / Slow), so you can quantify slowdown and pinpoint when it started.
🚨 Error Watcher & Error Log Viewer
Always-on background monitor that silently captures Harlowe and JavaScript errors as they happen. The viewer lets you review, filter, and copy error reports without losing your place.
As of 7.2, everything converges here: console-captured errors (D1), softlock candidates (D2), abort annotations (D3), stalls (D5), and load-health lines (D7) all land in the same log with the same de-duplication and taxonomy — one place to look, one export to share. When the source map is installed, every entry is automatically enriched with the file and mod it came from.
🎯 Cheats Menu
Direct manipulation of:
- Masculinity cap / Identity level
- Breeding urge / Bimbo conditioning
- Money / Base stats / Arousal / Mood
- Pill timer
- Kane / Vex / Dealer progress
- Lactation / Birth counter
- Storyline resets
Every destructive action requires confirmation.
💻 Interactive Console
Live Harlowe REPL for inspecting and surgically repairing save state when the canned tools don't fit. Type any Harlowe expression, click Run or hit Ctrl+Enter, and the result renders inline against your real save with timing and ok/error status.
⚠️ The console writes to your live save state. Same as the X-Lowe Enhanced Console, same Harlowe API. A (set:) query actually sets the variable. The Confirm Writes toggle (default ON) catches write macros and shows you a preview before executing. See the Safety section below.
Quick example — reset the pregnancy accelerator (paste into the console, Run, confirm the write):
```
(if: $character is a dm)[(if: $character contains "side effects")[(if: $character's "side effects" is an array)[(set: $character's "side effects" to $character's "side effects" - (a: "accelerated womb", "hyperaccelerated womb", "hypergestation"))]]](set: $fd_bought_accelerated_womb to false)(set: $fd_bought_hyperaccelerated_womb to false)(set: $fd_bought_hypergestation to false)(if: $pregnancy is a dm)[(if: $pregnancy contains "extra days")[(set: $pregnancy's "extra days" to (a:))]]
```
Organized into eight tabs:
Tab 1 — 💻 Console (main work area)
The REPL itself. The variable-browser sidebar groups all variables in your save by prefix (FD / character / pregnancy / pill / pregmod surfaced first), with a filter box that auto-expands matching groups and one-click insertion of (print: $varname) into the input.
Quick-insert toolbar:
- Inspect character
- Inspect pregnancy
- Type of
- Keys of
- Clear output
- Snapshot / Diff buttons
Smart features:
- Variable autocomplete fires while you type — $pre shows $pregnancy [dm], $pregkids [num], $preg_video_num [num], etc., labeled with type and size. Tab accepts the first match, Esc dismisses.
- Datamap pretty-printing — output renders as a clean key/value list instead of Harlowe's raw `<table class=datamap>` HTML.
Tab 2 — 🔬 Inspector (power inspection without writing queries)
Four tools for exploring state visually:
- 🔍 Filter Variables by Type — chips for datamaps / arrays / numbers / strings / booleans / oversized (>5KB). Click a chip, see only matching variables. Click any result to insert (print: $varname) into the Console.
- 🔎 Search Variable Values — walks every top-level variable looking for matches in strings, numbers, array elements, and datamap keys/values. Shows where each match occurred.
- 📋 Datamap Inspector — type any variable name, get a clean three-column table inline (Key / Value / Type) with smart truncation for long values. No popup modal.
- 📄 Passage Source Viewer — type any passage name, see its full source with tag info. Falls back across multiple Harlowe API surfaces so it works regardless of build version.
Tab 3 — ✏️ Editor (power query writing)
Four tools for building, saving, and previewing queries:
- 💾 Saved Snippets — name and store the current console input. Each entry has an expandable preview, Insert/Delete buttons, and the library has Clear-all + Copy as JSON + Import (Replace or Merge) for sharing/backup. Stored in localStorage.
- 🧪 Dry-Run Mode — captures pre-state, runs the current input, computes the diff (added / removed / changed counts plus per-variable before→after for the first 20 changed), then attempts to restore primitive values to undo the change.
- Honest caveat: only string / number / boolean variables restore reliably. Datamap and array mutations cannot be perfectly reverted.
- 📋 Query Templates — dropdown of pre-built generators: Set NPC stat · Init pregnancy datamap key · Reset variable · Add to side effects array · Loop and inspect array. Pick one, fill in the form fields, click Generate — the constructed query lands in the Console ready to review.
- 🎨 Syntax Highlighting Preview — colors your console input by token type (macros / strings / $variables / _temp variables / numbers / brackets / keywords). Click-to-render to keep it cheap.
Tab 4 — 📖 Cheat Sheet (categorized variable reference)
Built directly from the base game source files. Eleven base-game categories with curated reference rows plus extensive datamap key listings.
| Category | What's covered |
|---|---|
| 🧍 Character | Full $character datamap with all keys (including gotchas like pregnant being a string "true"/"false") |
| 📅 Time & World | Day, time, weather, events |
| 💊 Pills | All 11 pill types with effects, prices, durations + pill_inventory keys + protection state |
| 💗 Pregnancy (base) | Base game pregnancy datamap structure |
| 🧪 Side Effects | Full list of 30+ side-effect names with display labels |
| 👥 NPCs & Relationships | $relationships master map, default NPCs (Alexia, stepdad, Bruce, Serra, Nyx) |
| 📊 Stats & Skills | get/set macros, action points, sex/activity counters |
| 🎒 Inventory & Outfits | Items, outfit datamap, outfit categories |
| 💼 Office Job | sales_job datamap with all keys |
| 🏠 Home & Money | Rent, allowance, mess, chores |
| 🎮 Cheats & Settings | cheats_enabled, realism_mode, all toggle flags |
Each entry shows:
- Variable name + type label
- Plain-English description
- Common values (when known)
- Datamap key list (for complex datamaps)
- 📍 Live indicator — shows your save's actual current value, OR "not present in current state" when missing
- 📋 Read button → inserts (print: $var)
- ✏️ Write template button → inserts a (set:) template with a typed default
Toolbar: debounced search filter (by name or description) + Expand all + Collapse all.
FD detection: When the Fertile Ditz mod is detected in your save, three additional FD categories append to the bottom (FD Core, FD NPCs, FD Systems) with a banner. Vanilla X-Change Life players never see them.
Tab 5 — ⚙️ Workflow (structured debugging workflows)
Five tools for multi-step / longer-running investigations:
- 👁️ Watch List — pin variables to monitor across queries. Refresh-on-demand; changed values flash yellow. Persisted in localStorage.
- 📍 Named Baselines — save multiple state snapshots with names and timestamps. Diff vs current shows added / removed / changed counts plus per-variable before→after for the first 30 changed values. Useful for "save baseline before pill, take pill, diff to see what changed."
- 📝 Multi-Step Queries — queue queries from the Console tab and run them in sequence with per-step ok/error status and elapsed milliseconds.
- 🔬 Variable Read/Write Tracer — takes a variable name and walks every passage in the game, distinguishing writes (passages that contain (set:|put:|move:|unset: $var)) from reads (passages that reference $var without setting it).
- 💾 Save State Import/Export — copies full state JSON to clipboard, or imports from a textarea with two-click confirmation. Same primitive-only restore caveat as dry-run.
Tab 6 — 📚 Snippets (27 base-game-only diagnostic queries)
Organized into five categories. Useful for vanilla X-Change Life players and FD users alike — no mod-specific references in any snippet.
- 🌱 Basic — Quick checks (7 snippets) — day/time/money, gender & DNA, active pill, pregnancy status, side effects, pill inventory, outfit
- 🔍 Basic — Inspect structure (5 snippets) — list keys for $character / $pregnancy / $sales_job / $relationships, plus stepsis state
- ⚙️ Advanced — Stats (4 snippets) — skill levels via get_charm / get_fitness / get_intellect macros, lifetime activity counts, action points, pregnancy-chance preview
- 🛠️ Advanced — Repair (review first!) (6 snippets) — find duplicate side effects, remove specific side effect, reset $position_inventory, force pill expire, reset cheats flag, heal energy & action points
- 📊 Advanced — Bulk inspection (5 snippets) — count keys across all major datamaps, event array sizes, inventory & outfit counts, NPC stats summary, money breakdown
Each has an expandable preview so you can review the code before clicking. Snippets never auto-run — clicking inserts the query into the Console tab for you to review and run manually.
Tab 7 — 📜 History
Last 20 queries persisted in localStorage across sessions. Click any entry to recall, or use ↑/↓ in the input when it's empty to cycle through. Dedupes repeats. Clear-history button.
Tab 8 — ❓ Help
Pattern reference, keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+Enter, Tab, Esc, ↑/↓), safety features, and caveats. Pattern reference is rendered at runtime so the help text never accidentally executes the macros it's documenting.
🛡️ Safety
- Confirm Writes toggle (default ON, persisted) — detects (set:), (put:), (move:), and (unset:) and prompts with a query preview before executing.
- Snapshot/Diff — captures full state at one moment so you can see exactly which variables changed after doing something in-game.
- Copy Output — sends the result to clipboard for bug reports.
- Per-feature error isolation — each tab's features are wrapped in individual error reporting. If one feature fails to wire up, the others still work, and a red banner at the top of the panel names exactly which feature errored.
- Graceful API fallback — if the Harlowe API isn't reachable in your install, the console shows "Console unavailable" instead of crashing.
Other Tools
📤 Export Report
Generates a full-text diagnostic report and copies it to your clipboard for easy sharing when reporting bugs. As of 7.2, the log it draws from includes the detector streams — so a pasted report can carry the error, the softlock it caused, the click trail leading up to it, and the save-load health line, all in one paste.
🐞 Harlowe Debug Mode
One-click activator for Harlowe's own native debug overlay. Adds a panel in the bottom-right corner with a built-in variable inspector, a macro replay log, and an enchantment viewer. Useful when you want to see how Harlowe is interpreting your state from the engine's own perspective rather than through the diagnostic's lens.
🗺️ Source Map Addon
Maps every passage in your game to the file and mod it came from. Once installed, it powers smarter behavior across the toolkit:
- Link Checker stops misclassifying other mods' passages as Fertile Ditz
- Error Log shows which mod each error originates from
- A dedicated Source Map Viewer unlocks with:
- Live search across all 9000+ passages with click-to-expand details (mod, file, tags, source size)
- Browse all Fertile Ditz files with their full passage lists
- Browse every installed mod sorted by passage count, click to see what passages each one defines
- Enrich Errors view that maps recent Harlowe/JS errors back to their originating mod and file
- Show 10 / 25 / 50 / All buttons across every view, with sticky state when switching counts
[Framework] Side Job Stats + Optional Stripper Stats
By AshyPaw
📟Side Job Stats
As the game currently has no system built it to track various side gigs and modded jobs, and the Work tab appears to be limited to DynaPill work, this little script creates an additional tab in the player character's dossier (Status window).
I mostly created it because i got distracted while working on my actual mod, and wanted to see if it is possible. Turns out it is. 🎉
I've included an optional mod that tracks the in-game Stripper job stats, including the second Stripper XP that's not integrated into the normal skills display as of yet.
The only needed thing is making sure the script loads before your mod if you want to incorporate it.
Can be done by adding
compatibleMods: - name: "Side Job Stats" version: atLeast: "1.0.0" loadMyMod: "AFTER"
to your .meta file.
Full documentation can be found on my git [here].
🔧 Installation
Install using Official X-Change Life Modloader Utility. DO NOT extract the files to the game directory manually.
🪳 Bug Reporting / Feedback
Best way is to go to the Official Discord
=== ⚠️ DISCLAIMER ⚠️ ===
This was created with a lot of help from AI, including the documentation. I've tested it with alongside the few mods i run and had no issues so far, but feel free to test it around.
[XCL] [0.25] Any Job
By Dragon42
This mod allows you to easily account for being employed at jobs other than Dynapill in terms of NPC comments. If you find any instances that are missing, please let me know! I added a job list so you can figure out what job(s) the player has.
To flag YOUR mod as any Any Job, just set a test for your employment in a tagged passage [any_job_nightset], You can follow this example:
:: police any job [any_job_nightset]
{
(if:$police_job is "true")[(set:$any_job to "true")(set:$any_job_list to it + (a:"WPD"))]
}
[XCL] [0.23] NPC Position Roughness Options
By Azmodeous55
Are you tired of needing to keep an entire harem of fuck buddies? Do you want a minimalist lineup without having to maintain 20 different fuck buddies just to get every sex position? Then NPC Position Roughness Options is the mod for you!
Adjust the upper and lower limits to your desired range. This allows you to control your own experience and change it mid-game, fine-tuning it to your preferences.
Long and more technical explanation:
By default the passive positions available to any given NPC is based on two main factors. Dominance and Athletics. Roughness positions are derived from Dominance and are of a value of +/-1 of dominance by default. This means that at 7 dominance an NPC will be able to use positions that have 6-8 roughness but not 9-10 or 1-5. This mod Changes that +/-1 variable and gives you fine-tuned control. +1 and -1 are default and play the same as vanilla. You can go as high as +9 and -9 which open the entire range of 1-10 roughness for any NPC.
[XCL 0.23+] Quick Time Cheats Reworked
This is an update for the original Quick Time Cheats mod by raivoasdf to get it to work with 0.23 (and hopefully future versions). The mod adds buttons to increase and decrease player pleasure, wit, stamina, willpower, NPC pleasure, NPC satisfaction, NPC horniness, refill AP, and adds a button to solve the SECRET-ary Wordle. To trigger it, open the cheat menu under mod settings (to enable cheats, you need to go to settings and drag the second half of the word "options" on the top left downwards), scroll to the bottom, and then toggle quicktime cheats at the bottom.
CREDITS:
Updating the meters so the buttons work: @bransta61 in the XCL Discord server
AP refill button and milk meter: original mod creator (@raivoasdf) as that was unchanged
Very small update to the AP refill button made by @MNoble moved it within the meter
Confirm Navigate
By skirtninja
Adds an option in Mod Options to confirm if page navigation occurs. This is useful for me because when playing on mobile, I would accidentally refresh the page and lose a days of progress. With this I can autosave less frequently and be sure I won't reload the page unless I actually want to.
Once enabled, it should activate whenever you load the game, it may need time to pass in game due to browser limitations but the point is you won't lose progress unless you want to.
[XCL] Minigame Tuning
By DefectPetite
This is my attempt to balance the minigames, generally by making them harder. It's heavily recommended to use Hardcore minigame difficulty in the base game options. Each game adjustment can be downloaded and used separately, but the .xcl file will include all of the following:
Don't Cum (obsolete)
This game has been overhauled since the release of my mod, and doesn't need this tuning currently. I've left it here for users on XCL 0.22.2 or lower.
In the game passages, difficulty is usually increased by increasing the speed via the "rhythm" parameter. At faster speeds (ie low "rhythm" parameter), the bar starts moving in smaller increments. This seems to happen too quickly, so it actually gets easier; fewer button presses per increment needed, and no risk of pressing too fast. Note that at very high speeds (<100 "rhythm"), the game gets very difficult, and some mods utilize this (see the Demo Framework). Another problem is that the reverse arrows interrupt makes the game easier, not harder. During interrupts the bar is significantly slowed, which is very forgiving.
To fix this, we make the bar increments much larger at medium to high speeds. During interrupts, make the increments significantly higher than base game interrupts, so they can add a bit of challenge. For a little more dynamic scaling, we make the increments slightly smaller the higher your skill is for that check.
Charm/Word Game
Too much time is given to figure out the clues. Significantly shorten original time and time gained from a correct answer. Also scales a bit with charm level.
Quicktime
This game ramped very slowly, so it was easy to wait out any timers, and dropping a combo late in the game was not punishing. Make the speed the bar decreases ramp significantly faster. Also, combos are maxed at x8 and require 5 button presses per combo level (was 4).
Tower Blocks
This game has a fairly intuitive way to scale already, the tower height requirement. I like this mechanism, but the high requirements were too easy, so increase the speed of the blocks significantly.
Blackjack
This game actually felt too hard on Hardcore dificulty. A -2 every time you lose a hand meant you had to have an incredibly high hand success rate. My overall win rate was below 25%, so instead make this a -1 if you lose the hand AND didn't bust. This is a good incentive, as busting was often not punished much harder than a low hand (16 or 17), so it was favorable to go for the risky hit.
No XP for Hardcore
XCL gives an extra multiplier to XP for having Hardcore minigames enabled. I prefer the difficulty of the Hardcore minigames without the XP multiplier, so this just pretends the difficulty is Normal for XP calculations.
[.23] International Measurements (Metric and more!)
By MNoble
This mod adds settings for international measurement systems in XCL.
Support for the following features have been implemented for character creation, examine yourself at night, and at the New-U machine
Imperial and Metric systems for height and weight.
The following bra measurement systems have also been implemented: US, UK, France, Italy, Europe, Australia, and Japan.
Also added is the ability to show the character's ID, as I find that useful.
This should support modded MCs (tested with Kendra)
Thanks to Aph for making the game we all love.
Special shout out to McLurkington for pointing out when I'm being stupid or overthinking things, and for teaching me things even he's not trying.
And thanks to everyone who wrote code that I referenced when looking at how something works
