For know I have settled on Midnight being just a normal panther that some vampires breed red eyes to (on?). Kind of like Nora's horse that also has red eyes, which is a special breed of a normal horse race that's able to see in the dark.

I meant the murder where she was killing the girl in the prison using blood magic. Nonetheless I'd also call killing the second girl murder. When Midnight does it's "ok-ish", because he acts on instinct. Nora on the other hand has a consciousness, she is also able to think clear thoughts and is thus responsible for her actions. She does indeed need the blood to survive, but there is no need to kill her victim, which makes killing the second girl murder (compare to Erics way of doing this C5S3 ).

Technically the same logic applies to humans eating animals. Nora just do it because she can and feels like it, the same is true for most meat eating humans (I'm not a vegetarian either).

Well, I must say that was an uncomfortable part indeed. Yet, just like with the Boltons in Gam of Thrones, some parts of a story are just made to inspire unease, worry and even a certain degree of fear towards what could happen to the characters. So in that regard, though depicting disturbing events, it was still a good chapter. 

 And the technical domain wasn't neglected either. Which made me wonder all along : did you find a poser for animals or are those custom made ? Was the jeez effect on midnight ingame too ? And, about that striking heart scene, was it just a jaxonz positionner comboed to the spell, or was it more complex ?

I was mostly trying to show how thin the line between nobility and high culture and animalistic instinct driven behavior for "my" vampires is. Just compare the first couple of screenshots with her writing etc. and the last ones of the feeding scene. This is honestly one of the aspects of vampire that I like the most. 

But of course you are right, it was super brutal, but unlike other times on this blog I felt like it was necessary to make my point this time. Honestly the victim just wears the blindfold to take some of that horror away. 

Most poses are just vanilla animal behavior. You can just trigger two different idle animations of them by disabe-ing and enable-ing the animal. One time I used a sexlab panther anim and froze Midnight during the animation so I could pose Nora normally afterwards. 

All effects seen are ingame. I did the blood of Midnight via his texture and the cum, was an object moved around with jaxonz, the same as the heart.

In my opinion that's one of the most important points since vampires just get romanticized too much nowadays. In the end they are still undead that are eating people alive.

Yeah, the blood magic scene is a bit of a test of what pure images can do. The only indicator of Nora killing the other girl is that one cut to her lying on the ground after she summons the heart. The last sentence was mostly there to get everyone one the same line again in case someone missed it.
