More backstory and more info about Nora's life.

So this is your take on the "good vampire"?  

Btw It seems Nora and Alyssa has a mutual friend  , the horse 

I think it's just amazing!

Such a love of vampire lore and details. Such scenery, such colors! The mix of bloody red and dark blue is really fascinating!

 And I kinda like that Nora's vampire youth fulness behaves insolently and recklessly)

Yes more or less, he's trying to live a "good" vampire life. 

Well, Nora doesn't fuck the horse... in my vampire world this is just a horse with red eyes ;). Nora likes it, but not as much as Alyssa ;).

He still more "good" than my "good vampires"  .

LOOL  , Alyssa certain has different taste then Nora. 

Alyssa wouldn't fuck a panther thought.

Goodness, Nora was quite the brat. I'm surprised Eric hadn't smacked her. By the way, there is a repeating image with slightly different dialogue there towards the end. I assume the latest one is the "latest" correct version?

So that's what you were preparing for us : more story, more twists (mostly relational twists but they do the job very well), a young Nora much wilder than what we're used to see... And still excellent scenery and image composition. Not to mention the character development for Count Beauvais, which seems to be a righteous guy, implying Nora's mission will force her to make hard choices... Excellent entry, I had a blast reading it. Thank you for it, Alter Native.

Yeah, the image where she explains how her boyfriend was killed was posted twice.

Also, borders everywhere on the images of the section 1, but none in the summary of previous episode. This is minor, but still bugs me (as a blogger, not as reader).

What have we here? Karlov girl was feral back then? Intriguing, she certainly learned how to behave after all. I'm not amused of this Eric fellow and his "romance", based on his impression, I'm not suprised vampire realm want get rid of him. Shame Carandial would like him. Goodluck with eliminating him Nora.

Actually the seen Eric version was a long time before the current events and my vampires are fine with his behavior. He did not fall in disgrace due to his attitude towards mortals.

Thanks for letting me know! I just checked with my flickr, it's actually the same image, I just posted it double. Just corrected it.

Thank you. I was trying to make sure the age difference and live experience difference is noticeable, especially since she was "living on the street" for the last years.

Thank you very much for your comment :). I can promise hard choices, but not because he's a righteous guy, I don't think that's a plus in Nora's book ;). 

@ Malicia, Eric would probably be the only vampire character in my universe that you wouldn't risk your head meeting  ;).

The borders are driving me crazy, when I posted the entry I had borders in the second spoiler, right now I don't have them and I never have them in the chapter menu and I use my typical screenshot posting method like in all previous entries.

I just don't get it. If there was at least some logic behind it, but it appears to be somewhat random.

Thanks! The aging women was inspired by some pop culture vampire stories. The mortal female and male vampire setup is very romantic and works really well as long as she is still young, but falls apart at some point due to changing expectations from the aging partner. I feel like most authors completely ignore this.

Eric has a great look. Does he only have one eye? And the older woman too, just perfect.

Thanks, Eric only has one eye, but wearing an eye patch felt totally out of character.

The castle is custom build, I plan to release it at some point, but it still needs some work, so it may take a couple of month.
