 Actions like what Nora did in front of Kristoff are bound to lead to rebellious behavior so it was quite expected he would pull something like this.  Nice boner shots of Nora!  ....

An excellent chapter once again ; with a delightful game over the multiple uncertainties about the characters' behavior : Hannah, Kristoff, and of course Nora. At every moment you wonder if it's going to end in a blood bath. Even with the main twist of Hannah's turning put aside, Nora's ambiguity was as flavorful as ever all along. Technically, the screens are so perfect (in terms of poses, lighting, colors and texture effects) that we forget the media to immerge ourselves fully in the story. Also liked the setup for Hannah's eyes opening, though I didn't expect Nora to be destabilized that much over a newborn attempting to suicide. Also enjoyed how she remained as manipulative as ever, in the way she presents Eric's death, and her twisted version of the mythology (with Bal replacing Lorkhan somehow). The narration also goes significantly forward with Fina's departure and Hannah's initiation.. so maybe in the future there's hope for us to read about that vampire monastery in Vvardenfel again. Great work ! ?

I was actually wondering how Hanna storyline would end. Actually didn't expect something like this from Nora. Thought she would kill one of them.
And am I the only one notice Amelie grabbing Hannas ass?

Interesting session again, and unexpected one well at least events was ?

Kristoff and Hannah's thing was expected and eventually will return as a thron in Nora's side, so a consequence was bound to happen.

Yeah turning was not suprising at all, suicide was yes, but mere hang not gonna kill a a vampire, they not breath at all and undead after all.

It took way more effort to slay one, so not like she could do it that way.

The crypt and the manipulation of Nora was interesting about Eric, as usual she lies haha.

Now the true highlight of the entry the Faith of Molag Bal again, and the rituals..

The mythology of the religion of him, fitting to replace and make a glorified lie of himself, trying replace the actual strongest of sibling of him is fitting his character.

Or it just Nora lies about her to convince to drink the blood haha, who knows..

Ritual itself seems intriguing enough, feels a bit closer what we get from Harkon and Lamae Bal, as well probably takes after the Morrowind cult.

I have a suspection she might actually survive, we talking about Molag Bal, he may hates weakness and like making people submit, but..

Keeping her vampire to suffer and not allowing her to die is pretty much him dominates her, she not want vampire, its against her will to become one and would to actually judged as passing..

So we see that before christmas.

That neckseam is a bit ugly, I forgot to edit it away. I was using coco's body as of lately and that apparently has a neckseam issue. There's a fix on her discord, but I had some other problem with it... anyway... I want to switch to 3BBB anyway.

Well there was no way to know that Hannah was a vampire, she could have just been  a "normal" human, that for whatever reason tried to kill herself. Initially I planned to have this part with Fina's departure be some kind of epilogue to chapter 7, without revealing who the corpse was, but I needed Fina for the last entry with the letter. 

The mythology is not twisted or made up in this case, it's just the vampire perspective on it. They don't follow the "offical" version of mythology. Of course they think themselves as "chosen" and better then others (which justifies killing them in their eyes) and of course they need a religion that supports that .

In that (monotheistic) version Bal needs to be much more powerful than he is in the mortal version...

The Vvardenfel plot is going to be continued in the next two entries, I just needed the ritual.

Chances of characters being and turning meany are very slim in this story, so I think she's safe... maybe.

Nora is actually a good person in her worldview. Killing another vampire would be murder and she'd never do that .

Thanks! She was supposed to be a throw away character that shows a bit of the vampire world from another perspective, but as I said in the author's ramble she escaped death a couple of times, that was just the first time.

Hannah just didn't know how you kill a vampire  but she knows what works for killing a human so I guess she tried that...

Well... she doesn't really lie, she just doesn't mention that she herself was the murderer.  

But calling herself a murderer shows a sign of regret and a feeling of wrongdoing.

Ritual looks good and feel pretty vampire like, so fitting for your story and setting.

Religion part based on the answer for Tirloque makes perfect sense too.

Heya Alter. So I see you've moved on from making screenshots to creating film stills. That's cool...that's cool...Say, could I get the tickets to the movie premier of Blood and Pleasure, by any chance?   Because at this point, what you are making is pretty much a work of art. ? The farewell scene with Fina was so well done that even without the dialogues we as readers could understand every single gesture, every emotion that was presented to us. And I don't know which small, furry animal you've sacrificed to Molag Bal for that cathedral blood ritual part, but it was definitely worth it. It looked absolutely exceptional. ?

I loved how you showed Nora discovering the hanged Hannah. Due to her shocked expression and the angle at which the body is shown just for a brief moment we get a scare thinking that it's Amelie. Poor Kristoff. He seems to genuinely care for her (though I wonder whether this really was a 'love at first sight' thing or he somehow knew Hannah from before). ?

The dialogue at the coffins scene was particularly well-written. It feels that Nora does truly regret the fact that she killed Eric (obviously she would keep that detail from Hannah). " I could've saved him from the murderer" - she could've refused the barony, title and prestige and saved him from herself.  The readers know that she chose to follow through with the assignment, but those words really add more emotional depth to her already complex character. At the same time this play on words is also very fitting, as omitting certain truths and slightly manipulating those around her is part of Nora's persona.  My compliments for that. ?

Interesting take on vampiric religion, by the way. Was it Nora's father who taught her about it or did she pick it up later on in life (well, unlife)?  Her Maker seemed to be rather reclusive and not interested in the outside world and its political and religious intricacies. ?

P.P.S.  Nora hugging and kissing Amelie like it's her favorite teddy bear is even more adorable. (I guess Nora got a little bit emotional after witnessing Hannah's hanging scene). ☺️

Indeed. I just couldn't tell where she was lying and when she was really convinced by what she said. Good to know 90% was sincere. ^^

I had issues with coco body too and 3BBB. But then 3BBB had one final update on Nexus and fixed the issues I was having an works great now no neck seam whatsoever but just one small problem with tint mask for Fair skin option but nothing that can't be easily fixed. Can't wait to see Nora with 3BBB. Oh and I usehttps://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/98974 in conjunction with 3BBB and they work great together it fixes the fat wrist and ankle flaws.

Yeah, installing the nexus version right now... still having some troubles with the vagiana and niopa... did you get niopa or the collsions with SOS to work? And if so, which race are you using?

That's one of the reasons I considered having this scene as an epilogue to chapter 7. Your first assumption is that it's Amelie, especially since she's missing at the Fina farewell... however that last thing was just an oversight by the author.

Thank you very much! In a way she is herself her biggest enemy. I always make her pay a price when she gets something via her evil schemes.

Well her father was actually a bad vampire father. She left him after a couple of month with some serious consequences for her life (in case you remember the sewer episode from chapter 7).

She learned the common religious knowledge through other vampires (probably Eric the most) and the more in depth things during her time in Morrowind that we started to see in the first section.

She was convinced by it, it's the believe of my vampires. I don't think it'll be very useful to lie to Hannah about that, she'd just find out the truth sooner or later.

Oh.... collisions I guess not now that I think of it. Hmm... it's gonna take some tinkering to find out if it will work or not. At least the texture and models have no problems, But I made it so there is no hdt with normal outfits in the world so I don't get the invisible bug and more frames aaaand don't have to use unique race like the ygnord race. ?

I solved it, not sure why, but it was working all of a sudden. I think it was a race thing, but I'm not sure. 

Ah, fantastic! I love the return of Hanna. I had completely forgotten about her until now. Already so many excellent plot points in this chapter and this is only the 3rd section! Amazing work, as always!
