This entry was done on a new PC and in 1080p instead of the previous 900p. The ENB is technically the same (Grim and Somber),  but it uses a newer version with some features I didn't use before such as DoF.

However the quality will decrease again in some parts of chapter 9, with the next one being similar (also a 2020 entry) and the rest being similar to the previous entry (that was a 2018 entry) and some 2019 as well.

Gotta agree with Jayomms, visually your entries are more and more stunning each time. The background, the poses, the lighting, the outfits (though the dress at the Duchess was a bit anachronistic)... a lot screens could be admired for their "picture" quality alone. Storywise you intertwined the manipulation of Ahtar's father with the plotting at the Duchess' and her son's home, and that allowed to highlight the key twists in a very efficient and fluid manner ; with a GoT like political touch. Excellent job on Nora playing the dumb girl at count Serkis' bath, liked the symbolism and the visual effect produced by her dress. Her relation to Serkis was also interesting, with the devious daughter-father relation, and the double game behind it. I won't mention the layout, which was made good use of when the occasions presented. But really, the way you intertwined the sexy-devious parts, with the non linear scenario setup was excellent, and it was only in the final part that the show got back to a more straight forward sex scene. Excellent job, thanks for sharing it with us !

I did not immediately notice the change in shot quality, tbh. But looking back there is a clear, subtle improvement for sure! The entry itself was great. The political intrigue and Nora's powerful displays of emotion were excellent.

Just repeated partners, we saw "father" two entries ago and Damon in Chapter 8 Section 10  but yeah, it's hard to disagree.

Thanks! The non linear setup was mostly chosen to highlight her double game and her lies. My initial idea was to have the father scene in the next section however by then you have to remember the details of the conversation of this section which some people may not do.

In general, as I'm trying to build more complex stories with political intrigue themes I find it a bit hard to make sure everything is understandable and clear over several entries. Especially when you have a character like Nora that's constantly lying and manipulating people.

Thanks, this was shot on a new machine in 1080p compared to my previous setup. However we'll return to about 2 chapters of old PC screenshots after the next entry.

Thank you, I really wish the Skyrim engine could handle reflections properly... I had to cheat with extra screenshot mirrored there.

Thanks for the feedback, I was worried on how understandable her actions are. Problem is she is effectively trying to play both sides, Ahtar's "father" and the Duchess to get the best for her selves. She is not strictly loyal to either of them, but leaning towards the Duchess.

However this is hard to show and requires a lot more screen time to become clear.

I'd rather be on Malicia's side here. Nora Karlov is a manipulative, scheming character. And that includes being evasive at some moments, but also rather brash at others, depending on who she's trying to manipulate.

At this point in the story Ahtar is his lover, and the only Sertki she can be sure of his loyalty towards her. So, to me, currently, her loyalty goes to Ahtar interests as they coincide with her own. Faction-wise she's closer to the Duchess than to the Sertkis, but her interests doesn't perfectly align with neither. Hence the scheming, which is of course more unfavorable to the current Sertkis heads, but still isn't what the Duchess wanted her to do.

I'm not really sure I understand you correctly, what exactly do you mean with evasive? 

She doesn't have a position of her own? Not sure, she's just trying to play both sides and tell them what they want to hear.

Yes quite a good explanation her end goal is to marry Ahtar and get a high position within the Hammerfell vampire society preferably without having Ahtar's father constantly around her.

I love the color tone and palette for the first set of shots! it really shows off the scenery so well and the multiple layers Nora's white dress!
