So Thomas finally found her?  And now Nora is playing catch up. 

Wonderful chapter with many little details that created a very magical but also bleak atmosphere. Very fitting given the circumstances. The broken windows, the gloomy corridors, the bodybags on the floor... All great stuff to give the castle a somewhat run-down appearance. I liked the butterflies fluttering though the hallways in particular. It was probably just my imagination but they almost seemed like guides that led Nora to the party. And after that to Thomas and Fiona.

 

Speaking of Thomas' mysterious sister: She seems to have a bit of a temper, doesn't she? Aside from how she reacted to Nora, the broken mirror in her room as well as the bloodstained letter (?) on the bed may indicate that she doesn't take bad news all that well. Or I might be reading too much into this. 

 

I liked Nora's reaction once she realized what was going on: Just sit down and enjoy the show.? And her keeping her calm despite F.'s hostility clearly showed that she felt in control of the situation.

 

I am abit worried about Octavia though: If the marks Nora noticed on her neck were bitemarks and not just blood-drops then she might end up like Hannah.

Guess we will have to wait and see.

 

Overall an excellent entry.?

I am amazed at Nora's coolness and self-control in this chapter, for some reason I expected more aggressive actions after a series of attacks on her.

I have started reading your blog. 

It is excellent. Unlike anything I have ever read.

I respect your wishes regarding Nora.

I envy you for making such an intriguing character.

I can't make bad guy or bad female characters.

I have a mental block doing that. All my characters have to be good. Just how I feel.

I have a lot of chapters to read.

I must say you're becoming exceedingly good at crafting places and ambiances. Though the warm reds of the party and bedroom are a classic for you, the bleak and desolated greens and blacks of the manor's entrance were just as great (and got several shots just to feature them I think ^^). As for the story, a couple of typos put aside the dialogues were both immersive and entertaining. And the "crouching tiger" feel Nora distillates each time she speaks to a lesser individual is still very much there. In terms of writing however, I was surprised how easily she managed Fiona to cooperate considering she didn't seem to like her a bit. Plus experienced vampires like Fiona and Thomas should be fully aware Nora doesn't seeks people out just for courtesy calls... Yet great ambiance, good shots, and an entertaining chapter overall. ?

She's always like this, chaotic and aggressive, in that regard she is the opposite of Nora.

Yeah, you have a point there. Those were not supposed to be bitemarks. Instead it was supposed to be the start of an infection with the epidemic that is happening in High Rock, with several humans in that manor being infected too. But now that I look at it again... yeah it does look like bitemarks. This should have been clearer.

Thanks! This location is part of my Karlov Manor mod for some time now and I built it for this entry specifically.

The red was intentional as that's where the "proper" powerful vampires are. The rest is just a fallen Manor with people partying.

It was in their both interest to leave the other one alone. Fiona just wanted her gone so she and Thomas can have more time together and Nora doesn't actually mind Thomas staying there for the moment. She's in High Rock to find Jonas and the less Thomas knows about any of this the better.

Yeah, but it's not his "real" sister, just his vampire sister, meaning they were both turned by the same vampire, he's a century older than her.

Tirloque's note : please note that Malicija means no offense, and only describes her family. Yet considering she has trouble getting homosexual love concept, I have doubts she could grasp incestuous love concept either. ?

So, in the eyes of the law, they are (half) brother and sister. But we do not use "half" since we do not like it. So yes, Precious is (legally) my Ivy's niece too.
