I don't expect Nora to get whacked though... The high and mighty vampires seem far too pragmatic for that. I don't think they would just waste someone as capable as her. On the other hand: Put a death sentence on her head that is suspened for as long as she continues to prove useful? Make her persona non grata in the realm to ensure that she will do whatever unsavory or dangerous task she is given? That sounds far more plausible to me.

In any case: Great work! Looking forward to the next part.

Thank you very much! Well... a vampire of a far higher rank got murdered by her, if the vampire realm is serious about enforcing their laws there must be consequences. Question is just how do you judge the involvement of Lenora as she is the one responsible for the murder and how do you find out about who is lying and who is telling the truth...

Wow, such a slow start, and such a quick escalation ! I must say I quite love the first part (particularly the first half), since it's one of the few scenes where Nora's and Thomas' intimacy gets a certain normalcy, with the characters honestly exposing their weaknesses to the other. Yet, a lot of the flavor of this entry comes from the quick dilemma succession that arose when the Duchess presented herself. It's obvious that Thomas lies in order to be later able to help Nora ; however the Duchess attitude might be even more subtle than that (depending on her goals for Lenora most probably). Loving how you heightened the stakes regardless. Technically, I amazed at how progressive you managed to get the different poses of the first sequence, but knowing you on screen quality is almost a given (how did you arrange the blanket, btw ?). Great entry ! ?

Thank you! I the scene where Thomas tells Nora about his history with Lenora in C10S3 was intended to have a similar honesty, glad you noticed.

It's not in the duchess interest to dispose of Nora. Yet, it's in her interest to display she asserts justice.
