I'm enamored with this chapter. ? The lighting, the poses, the wordless screenshots that still tell a story, the fighting practice scene - everything is perfect.  And that look that Amelie gives Thomas, it's almost filled with hatred.

The blood blades are very curious. Might we learn more about Nora's time in Morrowind? Or the fate of the missing blade? ?

Woooow. Excellent entry. I love first spoiler better. Excellent effects and twist off. I was convinced Nora is deadly wounded forgetting that she is a vampire and she can heal herself. You wonderfully showed it and this is my favorite picture because she is too beautiful.

Thank you Collygon! The blood really isn't the main focus of the entry, it's mostly there as a hint back to the remade chapter 1 Section where we do see Nora fight with the blood blade. After being beating twice by Thomas I wanted to show that she is actually good at something like blood magic and using this blood blade, that requires strong knowledge of blood magic, which she has bad he doesn't.

And sorry for butchering one of your armors in a screenshot of this entry... it was intended to look a bit better  .

Thanks for all your praise! This entry specifically was made a bit later compared to the previous and the upcoming ones and reflects a bit better my current skills in storytelling. But tbh, I'm mostly proud of the weapon room and the curtains in it  .

We actually already learned about the missing blood blade, it was last seen in Chapter 1 Section 2 & 3. There are actually a couple of hints about possible future (flashback) scenes in the last couple of entries. For example we already learned in Chapter 5 about Nora's time in the Imperial City that we saw in Chapter 6. So when I'm somewhat concrete on details in Nora's past such as her time in Morrowind there is a good chance of seeing parts of it  .

I personally like the second spoiler better, during shooting this I found out that white is actually a good color for Nora. I was typically staying away from this as it doesn't feel very vampire like, but white goes really well with dark backgrounds and her red hair.

I don't change the light for every picture, but always when I move characters noticeably. You can use Jaxons Positioner to move ingame lightsources or stuff like facelight or rail light. During dialogue or sex scenes it's most of the time enough to set everything up once.

You're welcome . I was not trying to pick a fight. Honestly I'm a bit surprised to hear that Prince doesn't like Ivy's stories.

The plate was way too small for the male chest and was supposed to cover the whole heart. So I stretched it poorly in outfit studio and had to fit it to the male body which was also quite problematic... 

Good thing is, since I did this entry I now know how to do it properly using blender etc. I should have also re textured it, as I didn't like the rusty style for a noble vampire. Anyway... it was just one screenshot to make this a believable practice fight and I didn't want to spend even more time on it... but it looks a bit poor  .

Maybe her mind was clouded with other things, we don't know. But I think you don't give Thomas enough credit, As far as we know he's in the Queen's services for several decades doing her dirty work so he knows just as well (or rather better) as Nora how to use a sword.

Also in that fight she was using a regular sword, not one of the blood blades they talk about later. The only time Thomas seriously stumbles is when Nora uses blood magic against him (which she was not supposed to in a training fight).

Ok, I see. Given the genre of this blog I'm not sure if Nora being in an actual relationship would be helpful...

I think her being single would make her more attractive... not sure, but I think there's a reason why a lot of porn actresses pretend to be single and of course bi...

The fight itself was posed, without actual fighting, just the sparks are ingame. There was a mod on the nexus that improved on the spark textures.

Wov, that fight at the beginning was awesome ! You did well both rendering the intensity and dramatizing it (with the sparring partners actually being wounded), while maintaining top notch screen quality all along ! Also liked the character development it gave us about Nora, but about Thomas too. He seems like a warrior unafraid to kill, but who only does it when needed, and so who has a good soul despite of it. Loved the whole entry a lot, great work !

Thanks! This entry was shot somewhat recently and I think by now I have more or less figured out how to do combat, with the blood effects and the camera blur. I'm editing some older unpublished stuff with some combat in it without said features and they look terrible.

But as you've figured out, this entry focus was more on character development and setting up future stuff, with Fina for example. Thomas' character was a bit modeled after Geralt of Rivia, someone who does what he does, because that's who he is and not because he has some great ambitions (unlike Nora). 

Technically he's an agent of the queen who does a lot of dirty work behind the scenes, but I don't really want to call him that in the story, because people associate wrong things with the word "agent" (007 etc.).

But we'll learn a bit more about that soon-ish.
