Nice Work with the suspense and thrill to get us on the edge of our seats in this chapter. 

Woohoo! I'm super excited about this chapter for multiple reasons!

First of all - the whole chapter is absolutely stunning (but you probably know that already ?)

Second - really glad to see Vasil again. You and I had a discussion about his character almost 2 years ago and you hinted that he might have a bigger role to play in Chapter 10.  And now that I see him here I'm practically jumping up and down, waiting to see what's in store for him ?.  His attitude definitely changed and he's much more assertive yet secretive than what we saw before. Even if the plan to kill Count Gottfried came from Lenora, it feels like Vasil will be profiting from it somehow ?

Speaking of Lenora, she's acting rather strange. Why the sudden desire to become a Countess? Especially when it's such a dangerous undertaking (after all, if the Queen will find out she'll be executed). Unless she's trying to make sure he won't be doing any experiments or creating other blood poisons?  It's also possible that Lenora is doing it to punish Thomas. And I wonder if the favor that he owes her has something to do with his sister.  So many questions and theories! ?

Is Amicia older than Nora? I really liked how she didn't bow to Baroness Karlov and in general seems to view Nora as being beneath her.

Wonderful job on the Count's transformation and the whole fight. Nora slicing through her own hand looked really gruesome and painful but also pretty bad*ss! If I understand it correctly, she was able to kill the Count because she pierced his heart?

Damn! A pretty intriguing start and a damn sharp turn in predator/prey game. Bloody, sexy and exciting!

Wowee, this is already looking great! I don't even know where to begin here. This was just so well done. I love the mystery already established and the fight was so intense I was at the edge of my seat! Gosh, I can't wait to see the rest of this chapter!

They all do, especially Lenora as you already figured out.

Personally I feel like I was building towards this for some time. She is in the natural order of succession for becoming the next countess. 

The last time we saw her and Vasil was during Nora's party in Chapter 6 when she started to get interested in Vasil.

That probably wouldn't be worth the risk, as you said, she's risking a lot, one does not do that for a lovers spat.

Good point, this is probably an oversite on my end, she's supposed to be younger then Nora by about 100 years without holding any titles so she should have bowed.

Yes, you either pierce the heart, cut the head off or bleed them dry.

What a chapter !! And to say I didn't even get a notification... Yet I agree with Devianna, this one was a blast : a developed intrigue, danger & fights, thrilling suspense, dilemmas, sexual content ! Wouldn't there be minor typos here and there, we'd be close to perfection. I particularly liked how Lenora revengefully took advantage of Thomas promise to her, as she doesn't care anymore about him as a lover, so either he succeeds and she ascends ; either he dies and gets punished from dropping her to Nora.

I also liked how you implemented Nora's plan, the twist about the daughter visit, about the count noticing the dagger. The torture + sex that ensued was unusual for Blood & pleasure, since it's been a long time we've seen Nora in such an unfavorable position... and even more since we saw her act by love for someone. The stabbed hands also was a smart dramatic mechanic, while both it and the dagger hide were presented clearly.  I somehow still thing the screams onomatopoeia aren't varied enough (though I know you don't consider them as such), but the layout when introducing us to the (splendid) Count's room was a clever choice. More than excellent entry ! ?

Thanks for all the praise. As stated in a previous comment, I don't write onomatopoeia only voices and they sound all "AAhhhh" too me. Not sure I can/ want to vary it much from there.

I'm not sure about this, I think the body of loverslab is fixed so as long as you are not reading it on a phone and you display can handle the width of the page the menu should show up correctly. I think this might be a general problem of these menus... not sure. Could you post a screenshot if it's broken for you?

I'm not sure about this, I think the body of loverslab is fixed so as long as you are not reading it on a phone and you display can handle the width of the page the menu should show up correctly. The solution is probably simple, by just make two "separate" menus below each other instead of one large one. Cause everything till chapter 8 shows up correctly.

So I basically make chapter 9 it's own menu and only expand the second one.
