I really love the action sequences in this one, especially the:

Spoiler

ambush with the one jumping from above

Very clear what's going on. Short and sweet Section. Thank you, excited for this chapter. :)

That was... grim. What a start to a new chapter! I imagine Nora will take a very close look at what's been going on. Since, if past form is anything to go by, she does have some ability to feel sympathy somewhere in that body of hers. Or at least to ensure that this plague doesn't come to her doorstep.

Overall, excellent work. I can't wait to see how this develops.?

Oh, hell yeah, Alier! You did so well to portray the medieval plague in all its fearsome form! Nora looks damn brutal and awesome here! Amazing job!

Amazing atmosphere!

Also impressive work on the fight tricks like blood splatter, rolled heads and piercing swords ?

Thank you very much!

Getting action scenes clear is pretty difficult, so thanks for the comment.

Thank you very much! This was pretty much just to set the scene for the chapter as we'll see parts of the plague later on as well.

Glad you liked it.

Creepy, a nightmare before Christmas.

Yeah... maybe not the best Christmas chapter ?

High Rock.... ? Does this mean you'll be going through some areas of High Rock you made for Karlov Manor or yet to be released or both?  I see Nora is merciful.

Quite the introduction for chapter 11 ! Great rendition for that desolated chaos atmosphere, with the pillagers and ferals taking advantage of the local plague. Liked how Nora seems uninterested at first, and then applies her own conception of truth and mercy to the ferals. Also appreciated the action scenes : though the poses sometimes looked a bit stiff, you made enough intermediary shots for them to be clear anyway. And managed to convey a lot with little to no words. Good work ! :D?

When reading this entry I thought for a moment, that Nora might spare the last feral vampire, the girl in the ragged clothes. Perhaps because she reminded her of herself, how she was centuries ago. However, if I understand this correctly, in Nora's world feral vampires really are beyond hope. Unlike in regular Skyrim, they will turn into blood crazed creatures, no matter what. So, what she did was a mercy killing. Rather then cold blooded murder, for the lulz. I think she simply understands the fate of the ferals and has accepted it for what it is. Regardless of any sympathy she may have for them.

At the very least, I prefer this interpretation over the idea that the "proper" vampires are all spreading/believing  baseless propaganda about the ferals. Because it would turn the former into a group of one dimensional comicbook villains, rather then individuals with their own personalities.

Wow, I love this. Such a beautifully dark set up to expose a side of this world we have not yet seen. Such a great tone to set up this chapter; I hope it continues throughout! Great stuff!

What a great introduction to Chapter 11! The atmosphere is grim, dangerous and heartbreaking. I really like how you showed the effect of the plague (both the actual disease and the vampiric side) on the regular villagers. They are stricken with grief and fear and taking into account their speech, it seems like they are also slowly losing their coherency.

The screenshots are beautiful. I swear, this one can easily be a painting:

I noticed Nora's horns were hidden on some screens and visible in others. Is there a significance to that or were they simply taken during different screenshooting sessions? ?

Either way, that's a wonderful start and I am really looking forward to seeing how the story unfolds! ?

The other way around, I greated those locations for my story and then released them in Karlov Manor ;) .

More her sense of duty, as ferals are a danger to humans and shed a bad light on vampires in general.

She's preventing them from killing other people, that then get turned into vampires... so in a way she is doing something good here.

Yes you are right, but as also written to Tirloque she feels a sense of duty towards killing ferals as the official political and religious stance of her society tells her to kill them regardless of personal emotion.

Just a mistake, I noticed it as well later, but didn't feel like redoing so many screenshots.

I did see Queen of the Damned, it had it's moments, but writing vampire fiction myself I'm usually very critical when reading or watching other vampire novels, as I quickly dislike them when they move to far away from how I would have done things... not sure.
