Thanks. Nora is not just vampire young in this section. If she was still human she'd be in her early thirties.

Another great chapter. I found Eric's dominant game a bit out of place though (considering he was refraining to have sex since the beginning), but in the end it turned out making the scene appreciably predictable. The sparring sessions were truly excellent, and it was a nice idea to intertwine them with diner scenes to show the passage of time. And the "photography" is always flawless. Awaiting for the confrontation now the stakes are built-up !

By having him wanting her, or by giving her the power to seduce him, you took out a possible counterpart / equal to her power. Or ambition.

Hope you can make that up in the coming section, in the possible fight for dominance.

Since the reader expects her to win or at least survive, expection might be flawed now.

You did well at the fighting scenes, of course. Since light weapons are no part of vanilla Skyrim, it was to be expected that there are no perfect animations for such weapons.

That wasn't intended to be a salty comment. I truly believe you are the best vampire-related story steller on this board.

You're right about the male dominant part of the sex scene, it should be more romantic, but I did want to have the standing chair scene... that's one of the reasons why she takes control in the end. Overhaul I like the scene itself, even though it doesn't perfectly fit into the story.

Thanks for your comment. I personally consider the seduction part very reasonable since Eric is in his current relationship/marriage for let's say 40 years now, his wife is supposed to be above 60. I guess you can imagine how active his sex life looks. If both partners were human you'd grow old together, but in this typical "romantic" vampire human relationship this is not the case, only one partner ages, Eric "stays" in his youth with it's needs etc. 

That's why there is this extra layer of temptation, at least that's my take on it :).

I personally am happy with how this flashback scenes and the set up fight in the current timeline plays out, but I'm sure some will feel differently.

Hm, I got the impression that she is the sexual predator that could take down any prey. I had hoped / expected that this one vampire she couldn't ensnare so easily. Yeah, she flirted with him for weeks until he decided to jump on her. But, still, not saying I hoped for him to be a more important character, yet some sort of antagonist that didn't fall for her, at all. Whatever made him stay with his wfe.. that is another thing.

No matter. As I said, it will be to be seen how it pans out in the next episode.

Aww, damn. Here I am, all like "Hell yeah, Eric. I respect you for being so loyal" And then this??? FFFFFFFF-ugh. I'm quite frustrated. Which, you know, is good. I love it when a great story makes me feel these kind of emotions. Great work! But I'm still shaking my head at Eric, haha.

Ah, the premise of Eric being unfaithful to his poor aged wife makes me feel a bit bad, but I understand this is a story being told - and won't say it makes me appreciate the story any less. I'm still quite curious to see how this relationship of theirs (Eric & Nora) turns out, what with the wife still living in the same home as it happens.

I like how well lit the room is, everything's nice and visible.
Side note: I especially adore reading these sexy (and epic) Skyrim stories, they're the best things ever. Thanks for giving me/us another chapter to enjoy!

EDIT: Same sentiments, Colly. You put it in such a humorous way! Heck, dare I say my favourite part of this chapter was when Eric smacked Nora for her disrespect!? :laughing with tears emoji:

Ok, now I understand you and your previous comment better.

You'll see that Eric is a more important character, he's just not the 'antagonist' you expected him to be. Even though "being immune to her" would have been quite interesting. I'm not sure how things would play out by setting them up this way, but the idea is interesting.

Glad that you noticed the lightning. While working on this section I modified the 'facelight' mod so lights can be placed at different positions of a character and not just the face.

That actually sounds like a very handy tool for every screenarcher, and I've heard many ask about setting up lighting for shots! Might you release or teach us this trick someday?

I thought about this myself, but the problem is that this would effectively be a re-release of the facelight mod from the nexus with a couple of modifications so you can have light of different colors at different places.

I don't think I'm allowed to do this. Even though I'm not sure what qualifies as an addon and what is a re-release. I'd have to redistribute like 90 % of the files of the original mod. Does anyone know whether this is ok or not?

I think it's all up to the original creator to decide whether or not to provide that permission.
However, for private distribution or perhaps instructions on how to perform the modification... I wonder if the same rules apply... :thinking:

I'll see what I can do, but it's not that easy to recreate, you basically have to duplicate all existing spells of the mod, modify the light .nif and link it all together it's not that difficult a really messy. If someone wants the mod I could share it privately.
