Bandits are not tested much and a bit janky. Installation 🚫 DELETE THE OLD ZomboRut FOLDER FIRST. Download and unarchive the file. Drop the ZomboRut folder into your Zomboid mods directory. The final path should look like: C:\Users\<yourUsername>\Zomboid\mods\ZomboRut\42 Launch the game and enable ZomboRut in the Mods menu before loading or starting a save. Updating from an older version (recommended) Go to C:\Users\<yourUsername>\Zomboid\mods\ and delete the old ZomboRut folder entirely — don't merge on top. Download and unarchive the new file. Drop the new ZomboRut folder into the same mods directory. Launch the game. ZomboRut should already be enabled from before; if not, re-enable it in the Mods menu before loading the save. Recommended (mods) Male model + texture replacer — animations were authored against DDetrix's male model, so that one fits the rig best. Bandits (Steam Workshop) — enables the friendly consent flow and hostile-bandit surrender scenes. ZomboRut works without it, but you'll miss a chunk of the content. Mod Options (Steam Workshop) — in-game toggles for the main feature categories. Without it, B42's native sandbox options still cover everything. Moodle Framework (Steam Workshop) — body-count moodle popup. The count still tracks without it, you just don't see the moodle UI. SkyUI REQUIRES VERSION 5.0 OR NEWER If you dislike SkyUI for some reason, you can also install SkyUI-Away on top of it. An actor skeleton mod such as XPMSE2 or XPMSE3 Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Patch OR the individual applicable patches Skyrim, Dawnguard, Dragonborn, and Hearthfire Unofficial Patch This is not a hard requirement and can be skipped, it has been known to fix some problems people have had related to SexLab however and there is little to no reason to not be using them anyway. If you choose to not use the Unofficial Patches for whatever reason, expect to be browbeat about not having them when posting your load order in the troubleshooting section. ----- Basic Installation Procedure ------------------------------------------ After properly installing SKSE, SkyUI, and FNIS as listed above, follow these steps. Download the latest full framework pack & install it using your mod manager of choice (Mod Organizer highly preferred.) Run the GenerateFNISforUsers.exe tool. If you have a custom animation skeleton installed (very likely, if you don't you should. See: XPMSE2 or XPMSE3) make sure you check the "Skeleton arm fix" patch. Click the big button that reads "Update FNIS Behavior" You should see a line that says "Reading SexLab ..." if not you've done something wrong. DO NOT ignore any warnings or errors you see in the FNIS window. Activate the SexLab.esm file in your list of active mods. Load or start a new save game in Skyrim and navigate to the Mod Configuration menu titled "SexLab" Check that you meet the requirements on the left pane and then click the Install option in the top right. NOTE: Some of the checks you'll see there are only soft dependencies, or can be a false-negative. If the Install button is clickable for you, just go ahead and continue. [*]Close all menus and stand still until the install finishes, it can take a few minutes. ----- Basic Update Procedure ------------------------------------------------- Download the latest full framework archive, if you are using a version older than 1.60, you will need the full archive, otherwise you will only need the update patch. Extract the updated framework/patch into your Skyrim's data folder, or if using Mod Organizer (like you should be) then merge the files ontop of an existing MO mod install for SexLab Framework. (optional, but recommended for safest upgrade) Disable ALL SexLab related mods except for SexLab.esm and any that are absolutely required or disabling will mean losing progress on in some way. Navigate to your Skyrim's data/tools/GenerateFNIS_for_Users folder and run the GenerateFNISforUsers.exe utility. If you have a custom animation skeleton installed (if you dont, you should) make sure you check the "Skeleton arm fix" patch. Click the big button that reads "Update FNIS Behavior" You should see a line that says "Reading SexLab ..." if not you've done something wrong. Load your save game and you should see a notification that SexLab is updating and/or installing, it will then go through the update process. If you were using a version of SexLab such as 1.59c or older, you will not get this notification and will instead need to go into the SexLab MCM and click the Install button. [*]Wait 1-2 minutes, until you see a notification that says SexLab has finished updating and/or installing [*]Wait another 30 seconds or so and then perform a quick test animation either via the SexLab MatchMaker mod or by starting one via the animation editor. [*]Assuming the test animation was successful, save your game with the update now fully applied, you should see the appropriate version number listed on the last page of the SexLab MCM. [*](optional, but recommended for safest upgrade) if you followed step 3, you should now reinstall all the SexLab mods you disabled, ensuring you are using the latest version of each. For best results reinstall them one at a time and make sure they are functional with the new version of SexLab before reinstalling the next one. ----- Creature Use Instructions ----------------------------------------- If you want to use creature animations, you will need to follow some extra installation instructions. Install the latest FNIS and the latest FNIS Creature Pack if you have not yet, both of which are available on the FNIS Download page Run GenerateFNISforUsers and click the big "Update FNIS Behavior" button. After it finishes patching, you should see 2 lines, "Create Creature Behaviors ..." and BELOW that "Reading SexLabCreature ..." Load your Skyrim save Navigate to the SexLab Mod Configuration menu and go to the first available settings page, "Animation Settings" Check the box for "Allow Creature Animation" so that it is in a toggled on state (the box is filled instead of empty) You will need to install mod that lets you start animations with creatures, as SexLab Framework does not start any animations by itself. SexLab MatchMaker works with creatures, and is the more straight forward of means to start creature animations. For others, look through the download page for SexLab mods with creature support ----- Suggestions ----------------------------------------------------------------- Since SexLab is largely a sex animation mod, you will likely want nude male and female bodies. While the mod does come with a nudesuit option to use in place of installing actual nude body mods, that remains an imperfect solution and is provided only for the sake of completeness. It's use is actually strongly discouraged. I would remove the feature entirely if I didn't know a handful of people who throw a fit. There are many body mods to choose from, personally I use and suggest UUNP / CBBE Bodyslide and Schlongs of Skyrim Default/Average for males. If for some weird reason you absolutely refuse to use a real body replacer and insist on using the horrible nudesuits option instead, you can enable the option in SexLab's MCM settings and then install the default meshes and textures for it here: SexLab Default NudeSuit SexLab is a very script heavy mod, if you come across an issue in-game related directly to SexLab, the very first place you should look is unquestionably the Papyrus debug log, with just the tiniest amount of modding know how you should be able to track down the culprit from just glancing over the log, if you can't decipher it than it should be unquestionably the first thing you are posting in a request for help. A BBP enabled skeleton is also useful, as many of the animations include BBP support, though it is optional it is STRONGLY recommended. I'd suggest XPMSE2 or XPMSE3 There is support for other strapons for females to use, but you will need to download and install them separately and run the "Rebuild Strapon List" option from the menu's Rebuild page if you install or remove any after loading the mod. The supported strapon mods are aeonflux88's strapon, Horker Tusk, Futa Equippable, Cozy & Rebels Equippable TG, & SOS Equipable Schlong If you want First Person animations, I highly recommend using the Immersive First Person View mod by h38fh2mf Stop using Nexus Mod Manager or no manager at all and start using Mod Organizer. In the likely event that you run more than just a handful of different mods, install and run LOOT when installing and updating mods. ----- Uninstalling ---------------------------------------------------------------- To cleanly uninstall the mod, perform the following steps. With your current installation, go into MCM and select the "Rebuild & Clean" page. Click on the row that says "Clean System" You will be prompted to close all your current menus, do so. After closing your menus and being told the system clean is complete, save your game. Perform the uninstall procedure for any 3rd party SexLab mods you have installed. Quit the game. Lets you see how close you are to approaching the limit of 500. [*]Added Dragonborn and Dawnguard beds to sexlabs list of automatically detected beds when starting an animation. [*]When setting the player or NPC's voice setting in the MCM, any currently playing animations involving them will automatically update to use their newly set voice. Makes it much easier to test/sample various voices and find one you like. [*]The name of the animation being played is now only sent to your notifications if you have debug mode enabled. It is otherwise only shown in your console. [*]Creatures and Characters can no longer have the other's voice applies to them. Werewolves can only use the werewolf voice type if they are currently a werewolf. [*]SexLab no longer checks for a creature pack install, since they are no longer separate downloads. These are animations previous in the NSAP pack, more to be carried over to the default pack in future updates. New item strip editor in MCM. Select items you or a target actor have in their inventory that should always or never be stripped at the start of a scene, regardless of other strip settings. Creature animation scan now have specific genders defined for their creature roles. By default all genders are considered the same gender, this can be toggled via the new creature gender option in the MCM. The player and NPCs can now optionally have separate, multiple, orgasms as their enjoyment stat builds up over the course of an animation. This is an optional effect enabled in addition to the traditional orgasm effect on the last stage of animation that has been in previous versions. A new animation setting option in the MCM to forcibly filter out non gay or lesbian animations in a scene when appropriate. So for example, 2 females in a scene will generally not play a regular animation with strapon if other animations are available to them. Can toggle the players override gender directly from the SexLab animation settings MCM page, so players can easily set them selves as transgender, with "female" player characters being treated as "male" in the eyes of SexLab, or vice versa. You can now toggle the default behavior of the adjustment hotkeys between adjusting all stages (default) or only the currently stage being played. Whichever you set it to will flip the modifier ctrl modifier hotkey to perform the opposite when held in combination. When targeting an actor and viewing their stats in the SexLab Diary/Journal, you can press the reset stats button once to complete zero all their skills, and then when pressed a second time while all stats are still zero in order to re-seed their starting stats. A new "limited strip" option (disabled by default) that will cause the actors in a scene to default to using the foreplay/limited strip options you have set, if ALL animations in the scene being played consist of only oral and foreplay animations. HDT Hight Heel effects detected and disabled after character strip to remove the height offset. Automatically enabled if you have HDT HighHeels installed, but can be turned off in the MCM if you prefer actors to keep their height offset during SexLab animation. Pressing the Realign actors hotkey is now more forceful, making all actors completely reset their animation, re-calculate their positions, and start the current stage's timer over from the start. Holding down the rotate scene hotkey will now continually rotate the actors until let go, just as the other adjustment hotkeys have done for a few versions now. Much improved (in my experience) syncing between separate actor animations. Many, many bug fixes and performance improvements than I could possibly remember or even attempt to name. Development Plans: MCM "debug" menu for a few options that will greatly assist further development Unvoiced dialogue overhaul - As immersive as the voiced options are, I find it a bit weird for my husband to say "you've done well" every time we finish our thing. As a result, I'm adding an option to switch over to unvoiced dialogue and will add a much larger variety in conversations between you and your spouse (and any additional partners you may have) Look into potential solutions to the multiple spouses issue And much more! (Adapted from the earlier version) Description: Spouses Enhanced is an intimacy mod made for use with the SexLab Framework by Ashal. It is meant to enhance married life in Skyrim. Your sex life with your spouse revolves around you, your spouse, and your bedroom. This mod was built to give married life in Skyrim a sense of progress and growth over time (i.e. during normal play), and to give you an easy and straight-forward way to be intimate with your husband/wife and to try to, in general, take a mature view of sex with your spouse (your spouse is a person, not a sex doll, etc). This mod features no "extreme" content. The focus of this mod is the relationship between two consenting, married adults. Core features: You can approach your spouse. Your spouse will approach YOU, if a period of time has passed without you two making love, when you enter the same cell as your spouse. If you and your spouse aren't home, he/she will meet you at home. Rejecting them or deciding to keep them waiting longer than 24 hours will result in them becoming angry with you for a period, during which they will refuse sex. Your spouse has needs too, darn it. Your spouse has an Affection Level. It starts at 0 and ends at 4. It goes up by 1 every 7 days you've been intimate at least once that day. Your spouse will grow more adventurous as their needs are consistently met and time passes. You can "cheat" and short-circuit this by using the MCM and unlock all options immediately. You can give your spouse articles of clothing (or armor) for them to wear as an outfit. If the mood strikes them, they may put on outfits you have given them when they proposition you. You will also be able to simply ask them to put on something nice, once their affection level is high enough. Spouses Enhanced "knows" if Hearthfire is installed but doesn't require it. If Hearthfire is installed, you will have to plan your intimate encounters around your children's schedules. You won't be able to select "I want you. Here. Now." if your children are in the house and awake. If you send them off to play outside or if they're asleep, you can do whatever you like. You can click "Ignore Children" in the MCM if you don't like this feature. Requirements: SKSE 64 2.0.6 SkyUI SE Either SexLab Framework SE 1.63 Beta or SexLab Light SE (and their respective requirements) Fuz Ro D'oh (for custom dialogue) Compatibility: Spouses Enhanced is compatible with virtually any marriable NPC, including those added by mods, but it requires the vanilla marriage quest to be unaltered (except for the Hearthfire edits, which are supported). Therefore, mods add multiple marriages, or provide significant changes to the marriage mechanics, run a very high risk of causing issues with SE, depending on how they're implemented. These incompatibilities will likely remain in a save even after you remove the responsible mods, as the changes to the RelationshipMarriageFIN quest are permanent once it initializes, and can only be fixed by starting a brand new game. Mods that are known to cause issues with SE: Spouses Can Live Everywhere - damages the marriage quest permanently if you have Hearthfires installed. Further Lover's Comfort (and possibly the original Lover's Comfort as well). May be fixed by ensuring Lover's Comfort is loaded before SE. Feature Details: Dialogue: Almost everything in Spouses Enhanced is accessed by talking to your spouse and selecting the new option, "My love...". From here, you can: Kiss them (anywhere) Cuddle (when asked to go to a bed) Let them know you want them (access sex acts) (Requires Affection Level depending on act) Access their Wardrobe (requires Affection Level 1) Ask them to put on something specific from their wardrobe (requires Affection Level 2) Affection: Your spouse's Affection Level determines several things, including their receptiveness to perform certain acts, what Entry Events they will perform, and grants you more options to specify their outfits. Affection Level 0: Able to kiss (anywhere) and cuddle (ask to go to bed). Access missionary (Straight), Anal (Gay), or missionary + lesbian (Lesbian) acts only. Affection Level 1: Unlock "adventurous" acts (standing, etc). Unlock oral. Unlock Outfit Wardrobe access. Unlock all Entry Events. Unlock Lover's Scent spell. Affection Level 2: Unlock anal (straight + lesbian couples). Unlock "body" actions (boobjob, footjob). Unlock ability to specify exact outfit. Affection Level 3: Unlock "rough" acts. Unlock roleplay scenarios. Unlock "Lover's Surrender" spell. Affection Level 4: Unlock Three-Way acts. Choose to include your housecarl, a nearby follower, or a single person you've spoken to about this. This person can be anyone in the game that is at least your Friend or greater, and is accessed by selecting "I need to ask you a question. It's personal." They may decline if they have a particular relationship with the spouse (sibling, child, grandparent, cousin, etc) or if that person is married already. Master Bed: Spouses Enhanced has a concept of a "Master Bed". This is the bed your spouse will go to when you ask to go to the bedroom. By default, this is automatically selected for you depending on where your spouse lives (even Hearthfire houses). Keep in mind that, while inside your house, you can approach your spouse at any time. You do not have to be near the bed. You can manually set a bed as the Master Bed by opening your Alteration Spells and casting the LOVER'S SANCTUARY spell at a nearby bed. You can also clear the manually selected bed by casting the spell anywhere. If Hearthfire is installed, it will attempt to use the best bed available. If you ask your spouse to go to the bedroom and then never show up for 24 hours, it will have the same effect on them as turning down an Entry Event (explained below). They will be mad at you for a short time. While out in the field with a spouse that is also a follower, you can use a nearby unowned bed to perform a smaller set of the ordinary actions available. Outfit Wardrobe: The Outfit Wardrobe is accessed only through your spouse's dialogue; it doesn't actually "exist" anywhere in the world. The Outfit Wardrobe has 10 drawers, which can each hold a unique outfit. When asked to put on an outfit, or when your spouse surprises you with wearing an outfit, your spouse will attempt to put on EVERY ITEM that you place in a given drawer. So, use common sense and restraint in terms of what you put in each drawer. Your spouse will also take EVERYTHING OFF before they equip an outfit, so if a drawer only has, say, a set of high heels in it, and they select that drawer, they will come out wearing high heels only. At Affection Level 1, you can open their outfit drawer. At Affection Level 2, you can ask them to put on a specific outfit. Spells: Adds the following spells: Affection Level 0: Lover's Sanctuary. Allows you to manually set a bed as the "master bed". Affection Level 1: Lover's Scent. Allows you to see your spouse through walls, if in range. Works like Detect Life spell. Helpful when trying to find your spouse in your large estates. Affection Level 3: Lover's Surrender. Cast to make your spouse immediately amorous (start a random Entry Event). Greater Power; can cast once per day. Since it's a power, use the SHOUT KEY to cast it. You can remove all added spells by using the Remove Spells MCM option. Uncheck Remove Spells to immediately get them back. Entry Events: Your spouse will approach YOU for attention every so often, configurable in the MCM. There are, in this version, 7 different possible events. Only two of them will occur at Affection Level 0, but the rest become possible at Affection Level 1 and up. The Entry Event is always randomly selected based on the Affection Level and whether or not you have children awake and in the house at the time. If you turn down your spouse when they approach you, they will be disappointed, but nothing negative will happen. If you do it a second time (in a row, without initiating an intimate encounter in the mean time), they will be angry for 24 hours and will turn down any of your advances during that time. There are no "long term" side-effects. There is also no long-term side-effect of simply not being home when they become "amorous" or being gone for long lengths of time. Other options and features: "Enable Wake-Up Animation" plays a short cuddling or sex animation once every 24 hours when you wake up in the same place as your spouse and master bed. "Female-On-Male Dialogue Options" is off by default, but can be turned back on. This prevents dialogue options such as "I want you inside me." from appearing when you are playing as a male character, and talking to a female spouse. FAQs: "I think the Affection system is too complicated! I just want to bang my spouse any way I want!" Open the MCM and click Affection Level Override. Then, set the slider to 4. Poof, you have access to everything. "I have this really hot fantasy that I'd like to see play out in the mod as an Entry Event or something similar." I can't make any promises as my main intent for picking up this mod was to fix its bugs and bring it up to speed with the latest versions of the SexLab framework. However, if I like an idea a lot I may dedicate time into adding it. It's not likely, though. "Is this mod clean / has it been cleaned with TES5Edit?" Yes. There are some cell edits that are necessary. They only exist as edits because the original author linked some bed references to properties in a script. Your house modification mods should play nice. DO NOT re-clean this mod! You will break it! "Does this mod support spouses that are also followers?" Yes. "Can you pack the bazillion scripts in a BSA?" Not really. It's an extra hassle for me every time I want to release an update, and it shouldn't be necessary at all if you're using a mod manager to handle mod uninstalling for you. And if you're not, well, you're just crazy. "Does this mod change the way marriage works? / Does it add divorce / cheating / etc?" The default Marriage and Adoption systems from Skyrim and Hearthfire were completely untouched. No changes were made to the default way you get married, etc. I do not plan to make changes of this nature. The purpose of this mod is to complement the existing system, not overhaul it. "Will you add XYZ feature to the marriage system?" No modifications will be made to the marriage system in the base game. "Does this mod support multi-marriage mods?" No, and it will likely never will. Spouses Enhanced was built with a single spouse in mind, and at this point it would probably be easier for someone to make a new mod from scratch rather than try to adapt SE to work with multiple spouses. "Does this mod support Serana as a spouse / Marriable Serana?" Yes. See Requirements section for the additional mods you need. "I'm married to a custom follower. Will this mod work with it?" As of version 1.6.0, yes. However, if they use a custom voice-type (like many modded NPCs do), their dialogue in Spouses Enhanced will be unvoiced. The lack of voice can be fixed by creating an add-on for this mod that adds new dialogue for that specific voice-type, assuming there's enough voice acting recorded to use in SE's context. This is NOT something I will dedicate time to, so please, don't ask me to provide voice acting for your custom spouse. Check the following question if you want more information on how to do that yourself. Custom followers that inherit a voice-type present in the base game will have voice acting for Spouses Enhanced dialogue, and don't require external support. "I want to make an add-on for SE that adds voiced support for my custom spouse." You'll need to add new dialogue topics for all the dialogue present in _SE_MainScript, with a condition that matches your voice-type. You'll also need to ensure that the voice-type is added to the _SE_SpecialVoices form-list when your add-on is initialized, otherwise SE will revert to the unvoiced dialogue path. Wicked Affairs Door Lock - Smart Door Locking in WickedWhims View File Keep the secret behind closed doors… unless someone listens too closely. Sims are hooking up behind closed doors while a committed partner is still on the lot. One wrong step could expose everything. Wicked Affair Door Lock temporarily locks eligible room doors, lets the betrayed Sim investigate what they hear, and turns discovery into an actual story instead of a Sim simply wandering into the room. Best for storytelling: secret affairs, risky WooHoo, jealous partners, awkward discoveries, and dramatic room-bursting moments. What's New in 2.0 Automatic eavesdropping and an Enter/Ignore choice are now part of the Public version. Door routing now works from the nearest reachable side, including flipped doors. Heart door effects and a redesigned settings menu are included. The Early Access version adds configurable chances, moodlets, Fallout socials, and aftermath choices. Public Version Features 🔒 Smart auto-locking when it matters When a WickedWhims scene starts between two Sims and one of them has a committed partner on the lot, WADL checks whether the room is private. If the encounter qualifies, the Public version locks the room doors for that session every time. The temporary lock clears when the session ends. 💬 Spicy notifications When the door locks, a short notification identifies the cheater, their partner in the room, and the committed partner still outside. 💗 Hearts on the locked door With City Living installed, an active WADL lock can display floating hearts on the door. The effect can be disabled in Visuals. 👂 Automatic eavesdropping If the betrayed Sim is nearby on the same floor, WADL sends them to the nearest reachable side of the locked door. This works with flipped doors and does not force them to approach one fixed side. What they hear creates suspicion, not proof: Vague: it could have been nothing. Suspicious: something feels wrong. Strong suspicion: difficult to dismiss, but still not visual confirmation. 🚪 Enter... or ignore it Enter: WADL releases its lock, routes the betrayed Sim into the room, and lets WickedWhims handle the normal reaction. Ignore: they leave without confirming what is happening. Public version limits: door locking is fixed at 100%, automatic eavesdrop uses the recommended nearby/same-floor behavior, and there are no WADL moodlets, manual investigation actions, Fallout socials, or relationship consequences. More Storytelling in Early Access ✨ WADL 2.0 Early Access is available on Patreon! It includes everything in Public, then adds more risk, emotion, and post-affair storytelling. 🎲 The door may not save them Early Access makes privacy less predictable. Eligible doors lock 75% of the time by default, so some affairs remain exposed. Both the lock chance and unlock chance are configurable for your preferred storytelling style. After eavesdropping, Try to Unlock replaces guaranteed entry. Its default success chance is 50%: sometimes the betrayed Sim gets in, and sometimes they are left outside with even more questions. 👂 More control over eavesdropping Adjust how close a Sim must be before automatic eavesdropping begins, from disabled at 0.0 to an intentionally aggressive whole-lot range. Cross-floor detection is optional and off by default. A valid locked affair door also gains manual Eavesdrop, Knock, and Try to Unlock actions, giving you control when you want to direct the scene yourself. 😬 Suspicion becomes a moodlet Walking away or failing to unlock does not prove cheating, but it leaves an eight-hour emotional reminder. Jealous Sims become Tense; receptive or non-jealous Sims become Flirty. Successful entry confirms the discovery. The betrayed Sim reacts accordingly, while both affair actors can receive Caught in the Act. Reduced Moodlet Intensity is available if you prefer gentler +1 effects. 💥 The affair follows them out of the room Suspicion and confirmed discovery unlock temporary, pair-specific Affair Fallout… socials after the scene. Sims can question the locked door, accuse, act innocent, confess, confront, apologize, defend the affair, or respond positively when the discovery was welcome. Important choices can change Friendship or Romance and resolve only that exact pair’s Fallout. Jealous discoveries can also use aftermath settings such as leave the room, request Stop Sex, or choose randomly.
