This whole whore thing is just more a random insult (like game of thrones uses them (The whore from High Garden etc.)), it's not meant in a sexist/misogynistic way. Though most insults towards men and women have some sort of sexual root that's connected to a deviation from the norm (e.g. cocksucker towards men or slut towards women) and of course by using them in a story like this their original message is in some way conveyed as well.

But making up completely new insults based on the "norm rules" of my world would be hard to understand and the insluting meaning would be lost, so I decided to keep the "real world" insults.

I got the distinct impression, that Nora relished being in a position of power again. For the first time in a long while she was able to... bully people, just a little bit. And chop the hands off of annoying fools also. ?

I liked the second half in the Wayrest-Tavern in particular. The atmosphere was really well done. With the young mortals partying recklessly and the vampires not even trying to disguise themselves. Really made it look, like they don't care anymore, due to the impending plague.

Nora's claim that she's one of the local vampire's wife was... as ruthless as it was unexpected. And it certainly convinced the other girl to leave quickly. So... well done Nora.?

Also: It could be me imagining things, but I got the sneaky suspicion, that little Miss Scar-on-arm is pregnant. Due to the hand-over-belly-pose on two of the screenshots. As if she wanted to protect herself from the "evil" vampire (Nora). Would also kinda explain her rather hostile attitude towards N. Sooo... maybe, just maybe, she knows more than she wants to admit about Jonas' whereabouts and/or that mysterious vampire-lady in the woods.

Looking very much so forward to the next entry!

Amzing work! 

An excellent entry. Loved the medieval investigation ambiance, with the dim light, corruption of the taverns, and Nora crafting her way around the locals. Plus we had good tension of the room scene, with even an appreciable fight, not to mention the flying escape scene. Also liked how she navigated through the unwillingness or limited memories of the different type of witnesses. Regarding that, I think I should mention that when telling someone they're in security, the go-to sentence would be "You're safe" and not "save" ; but that's minor. Compliments on the shots, poses and uses of the some layout variations as well.  Really good entry overall. ?

Yeah, true, she's now one of the older vampires so she can "bully" people again. This was also true in the previous entries of this chapter, but here it's very clearly visible.

She's a prositute during the busiest time of the night, so she has very little reason being friendly to Nora as she will not pay her anyways.

The focus on the belly was just for showing that she keeps Nora's ring as payment for her information.

Thank you for the explanation. I only noticed her comment regarding Nora's ring, but missed, that Nora gave her the ring as payment. Now it makes sense, that she kinda changed her tone during the conversation.  

For some reason, I thought Sophie and the Tavern whore were the same person.

Love the wings in the first part, esp when it was wrapped around her.

The second part had a very Bloodborne look to it with Nora in Victorian looking type clothing. Love the world building as the tavern whore pointed out that  Nora’s clothing her stick out in the tavern as rich people don’t come there deducing Nora was a vamp.
