What started out as a small flirt to have sex with her friends boyfriend turns into something a lot more serious over the next days and adventures.

Thanks for reading! There's quite a big change in tone and style in the middle of this entry. Initially the first part was supposed to be part of the last entry but I moved it due to length restrictions. It was suppsed to be a third stage on the vampire decadency and degeneration ladder ;)...
The initial idea for the Stormcloak scene was an homage to the best souls boss fight ever made and lead into more soonish. It was actually quite challenging to do that scene. Try decapitating a stormcloak while he's surrounded by 30 other stormcloaks, even tfc 1 dones't prevent them from freaking out...

I always upvote when I see terrible face of war ❤️

Personally loved the 2nd part of this story, many themes in one strong scene.

War was nailed, executions, starving soldeirs and despair of waging a pointless war which led the hole country to break in a civil war.

Raiding and pillaging people, executing them and even worser, very people they supposed to "liberate" from the Empire and protect from the Thalmor justicars dragging them to be tortured and show how much it barely matters when it comes to actual reality of war, wonderful showcase of it.

I liked how they even fallen that low, mere vampire pressence was treated like nothing unusual thing, seems in your setting the vampires are common in the battlefields and scavenging the deaed.

And the pure terror of the stormcloaks, both from the war they seen and deeds they commit which makes moral low and their belief shatter, and how Nora pulled Lady Friede, as death itself, lovely.

Fist half was rather amusing one, yet fitting for the second part subject, showcased how the nobility and higher class living their own decadent world, while the very people they supposed rule over and protect get worst of the war, in this case from the Stormcloaks.

Fine really got a big ass resolve standing up against Nora and Thomas, but lets be honest, Nora deserved a call out.

Great work really, from chapter 7 easily my favorite session, I really hope we can see more sessions with similar or more themes in one.

:open_mouth: Thank you very much for the praise! I didn't expect that at all. You're totally right, my intention was to show the dirty terrible reality of war and the events were directly inspired by the Thirty Years' War were pillages like these were very very common.

Vampires are a bit more common in my world as there are no masquerade rules or so, but in Skyrim everybody knows about vampires anyway (see Dawnguard for example) so hiding is not that important anymore once everybody knows about your species existing.

War themes are difficult from a production perspective, but for the most part I tend to follow the dark fantasy theme and will do so in the future.

Thank you Resdayn :)

You nailed perfectly and managed it.

Im happy to hear you actually use history as direct inspiration for war themes, and you choosed a war based on religion, which fitting for Skyrim's civil in certain aspects.

I personally meant how the vampire pressence is casually handed by the group of stormcloaks, I expected them to be common thing at least on the lower side like ferals who "scavenge" the death, and similarly how Nora's past was in Cyrodiilic cities.

I know general population is aware of them.

It just stormcloak soldiers felt like treating it a very usual thing, which suprised me.

Yes your setting treated vampire knowledge is very common with the town guards and majority of soldiers in stormcloak side hold guards, ex imperials and general farmers, should be not suprised by the reaction of the soldiers.

Thank you Resdayn :)

Realistic themes of war can make the mood rather dark pretty fast, its always a solid choice for it.

History is good base of inspiration and medieval ages were rather a dark age ?

Im happy to hear that looking forward for more themes aside of the core ones your story has ?

I think this is the best thing I've read from you, it showed so much. That speech too!

Nora's lust for sex, how it blinded her of her duties. The Stormcloaks hanging people, innocent people. Really made me go "oh shit" Its like the stuff in Witcher 3, War is Hell!

Great work Alter, Nora once again shows shows boss.
