Short summary of the previous section
Thomas and Nora had a falling out after the events of chapter 13 and Nora showed him the cold shoulder.
However, Thomas helped her find the killer, Stan, one of Nora’s servants, who hoped to gain greater favor with her by eliminating his rivals, Amelie and Julian.
