I understood the story just fine; it was well done and I really enjoyed the additional writing. Great job!

Like you said, you definitely missed a good opportunity to develop a stronger character arc by taking the easy way out with the character.  If you'd like help developing a scene or a character, I'd love to help you in private via PMs.  I've been writing a few books so I'd love to help you with development if you're looking.  That said:

I did enjoy the chapter.  I was only confused by why the character was naked to begin with.  Unless it's just really dark shadows, it looks like she's wearing armor in the first few pictures.

Having the newer human naked (sorry I dont remember any names) actually makes sense if she's being held captive.  You can make the narrative that either a) she's a nudist (given what looks like tribal tattoos, this is within the realms of possibility) or that she had her armor and lost it when she was captured.

Thanks for your comment. Meara is a follower from TES general and I was recreating her appearance based on this screenshot (not done by me)

She is consistently wearing the skirt and is held captive for a couple of days by the falmer and she most likely lost her armor when she was captured  .

Interesting, but a little confused did a Snow Elf free her then give her those bit of clothing because in the last image it showed just a face.
