Yes, the face. The longer I looked at it, the less enthusiastic I was. Nope, not even remotely good enough. At the same time, making just decent looking nose in vanilla Skyrim seemed completely impossible. Damn. And so I decided to go on mod hunt for better head. CITRUS was my first step, and while the head looked better, better doesn't mean great. Also it was incompatible with facial expression mods, giving Lily in every sex scene expression of deranged clown suffering through massive enema. Pity I didn't think to record those crazy faces, I could have made comedy porn.. alas, too late now. Further search led me to vectorplexus forums and an excellent mod called Hi-poly Head. This one I genuinely liked, comparison between vanilla and hi-poly face below. There is small neck seam with this mod, and I couldn't find a way to fix it, but it's small price to pay for what it offers. While I was at it, I also decided to try new skin, and found Fair skin was nice upgrade over default COSIO. How it turned out is shown below. 1656688853_LilyEp1SFWTrailer.mp4 Further improvements: Switching recording from 30fps to 60 was an easy step, quality of footage grows, but so does file size... Lighting darker areas was another problem that needed solving. As spawning lights with console proved hit or miss (mostly miss, tbh) and needed constant reloading, I dug through forums, tried some mods, and settled on using Light Gems from SSAssist. Still not perfect, but now, at least, I won't have to make the song "Love in the Dark" my default video soundtrack. Next time we will get to the actual good stuff - posting full episode.

So, I´ve been trying to change an actors face color with nioverride. https://imgur.com/a/bCX7IcE I've ignored it for an entire playthrough already, it's not normally very noticeable unless in the racemenu, it's only an issue at certain angles and up close. Modlist of probable relevant mods in the bottom of the album. Tips on what to remove, add, or change? Edit: Added two new screens at the bottom of the album. There's a setting called "Eye AO Depth" which eliminates the issue when you put it at minimum, and worsens it when you put it at maximum. I think this effectively solves my issue, as I've never noticed the issue on NPCs, only the player character. Perhaps due to generated faces and such mechanics, vs making the player character from scratch. Either that or it's just too subtle to make a mental note of on NPCs. So I just have to adjust this setting on myself when I make new characters.

This has been happening since the beginning but when I enter an interior or a cell change the facial animations stop working in AAF. Not sure what the issue is. I disabled and uninstalled Animated Fannies. But it still happens. Basically when I load up my game from desktop, the facial animations work on all scenes that have them. Then I enter a new cell or interior and they stop working for the rest of the time. Only way to fix is close to desktop and try again. Any help would be appreciated.

Using and Modifying Prylipala Sliders By arse22 APR 2021 Intro This will be a small guide to using and base modifying Prylipala sliders. It’s a powerful mod that allows you to morph the head further than the base game would allow. I will also briefly describe how to modify the head used in the mod, without the need for any 3d knowledge or programs, exponentially increasing the possibilities in your TK modeling. Pre-Requisite -Installed VX -Installed Prylipala Sliders Installing Prylipala Sliders Installing this mod is very simple, in VX it is an add-on head, that adds a new sliders which can morph into other heads, but also in any combination and anything in between. Basically, it replaces the useless asymmetry sliders into something much more practical. Download Prylipala sliders somewhere, if you dont already have it. Locate Custom.Prylipala_AltAsymFull.FaceSlider folder and place it into your AddOns. Then, in game you select it like so (the tool tip in the top left will tell you if its the right mod:) Reload the room or customizer, that means exit to title screen and load it up again. The model you did this to should have additional sliders under the second face tab. I am using Maya, which is a base model that was commonly used before and even quite some time after head replacers. Using Prylipala Sliders Here, is Prylipala sliders applied to a very no-frills default Maya at their max and minimum range to show what is possible and maybe a handy reference for some: Base_Maya_Prylipala_Min_Max_Big_Pic.rar Base_Maya_Prylipala_Min_Max_Individual_Pics.rar Modifying Prylipala Sliders There is a couple of things worth noting here. First, VX does not support HiPoly heads, the sliders for HiPoly heads (labelled HP,) are only the morphs from my understanding. Second, there is no way to add additional morphs to the base mod, as far as I know (the author of the mod, did not support a VX port or further development.) So, if you find that the pre-selection of sliders is limiting (which it is,) what you can do is replace the base head (.tri) file in the mod. As long as it is not a HiPoly (HP) head it will work with the sliders. I will show this example. First locate the head mod you would like to use as your new base: So, that is the head mod of EiraV. It is the only file in the mod, a .tri file. The best practice would be to copy and pase the folder of Prylipala, “Custom.Prylipala_AltAsymFull.FaceSlider” and rename it like “Custom.Prylipala_AltAsymFull.FaceSlider_EiraV.” This is just for organization. Then you go to the same directory and replace fg_head.tri with the one from the mod you want to use. If you are using a EMFS headpack that looks like this: All you need to do is select the .tri file of the head you want to use and rename it fg_head.tri, before moving it into your Prylipala custom mod. (You can also do head02 for male and head03 for shemale.) Heads To Use I was going to post about this on MG right before it died, since I haven’t seen anyone doing this, and it’s quite easy, greatly increasing the potential face types you can get into the game. Not all are great as you see from the previews, in fact I would not recommend using the maximum or minimum of any sliders when creating a model. Some head replacers are very generic and work really well with the sliders, while others strive for a very unique shape and may create poor results with most sliders, so on such heads it’s still useful to do this to fine-tune some parts to your liking. Examples of versatile heads that are good to make a Prylipala mod for: GE, Female Head Normal or Younger, Hybrid, Realistic Nose, Aaron More unique ones that will give mixed results: Daz-like head, Widowmaker, WaxHead, HurkV Conclusion Of course if you are capable, the absolute best is still just making your own head in a 3d program and adding it in as a replacer, but even such a head could easily benefit from the vast number of morphs provided by this mod for in-game tuning. It’s a shame HiPoly version of this mod was not made. I believe RK created some 2x (hipoly) versions of standard used head replacers in a package on MG, which I still have. From what he explained it is a simple process of doubling some value, but I personally do not know what value to modify to make Prylipala sliders work with it and certainly no clue how to add it to VX. This aside though, there isn’t much to using this and it is as good as it gets for TK face customization.

New Body for Aela View File YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO USE MY WORK IN PAID MODS. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- SPECIAL EDITION ALSO EXISTS It's here: https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/14196-new-body-for-aela/ INTRO Successor of "New Face for Aela" which I cannot update ever since my ban from the Nexus (for mentioning LoversLab). I decided to not only recreate it from scratch, but expand on it as well. There are tons of facelift mods for Aela around. What makes this one different is that it doesn't stop at her face. And still it's no less compatible with things than "just-face" Aela mods. WHAT IT DOES Most of all, changes Aela's appearance. This means new skin tone, hair/eyes color, different makeup and new warpaint (it's not all that new, male Imperials use it in vanilla, but I adapted it to female face). Also Aela recieved 2 body tattoos (as I love to roleplay my Skyrim sessions there is a story behind them, but reading it is completely optional). In addition to that mod introduces a new warpaint for Nord females (same as Aela is using) and 4 presets (also for female Nords) which show different stages of my work on Aela's face (this means you can look like her twin if you want). Also, since Aela is specced for light armors, she was given a light armor version of her default outfit (cuirass, boots, gloves). It's called Light Ancient Armor, it's temperable, wearable by both genders and by player. Craftable (unlike heavy Ancient Armor) - but only in Skyforge. INCOMPATIBILITIES Let me explain what texture names mean first: diffuse map - the most visible of all textures, where color and details of the object is painted normal map - texture which holds information on surface irregularities (too small to be covered by 3d model) specular map - gloss of the object, how much of the light is reflected So - Aela uses custom set of diffuse textures for both body and face based on UNP version of Mature Skin Texture. This means you'll need a body replacer from UNP family (7B is also from UNP family) or at least vanilla (which looks ok with UNP textures). CBBE will look stupid, I checked that out. ADEC and other body mods - I haven't tested. As Aela is using a full set of diffuse textures they won't cause any neck gap, no matter what textures you use. Still, Aela is using default normal/specular maps, so it would be best to have regular ones, not some crazy variants. By crazy variants I mean textures that add - say - bruises or deep scars. Aela's diffuse textures have no scars, but gloss from your specular/normal maps can poke through and look stupid. If you really want those bruises, use Modder's Resources and put tattoos on diffuse maps you are using. STORY BEHIND TATTOOS Aela's vanilla warpaint doesn't suit her. It's not permanent. It would have to be repainted every day, and I can't see the practical Aela doing her makeup every morning. Instead of warpaint she should have a tattoo. Or tattoos. Tattoos that would fit her. After reshaping her face a bit (she's not that pretty when those 3 stripes no longer cover her face) I came up with a backstory for tattoos, as there usually is a story behind those. Here goes. That little paw below her belly has been there ever since Aela was a little girl and is related to the blessing (or curse) that has been passed on in her family for at least 3 generations. It's always been a secret and so the tattoo is placed where no one can see it - unless you get her to undress in your presence, but Aela won't undress just for anyone. If she's naked in front of you, then you probably already know her hidden nature. When Aela grew up and started hunting on a daily basis, she discovered a world of rituals and habits of other hunters. Trophies, warpaints, sharing stories... While trophies had little appeal to her and she couldn't exactly speak about all her hunts openly, she could have a warpaint. After a few weeks of applying paint to her face every day, she had enough. If you have one tattoo, you're much more likely to get another, than if you had none to begin with. That's how Aela got the tattoo on her face. By then she didn't expect that some day she will meet and befriend an Imperial with very similar tattoo. Imperial who would kill dragons and absorb their very essence... But that's another story. Years passed and Aela grew older. Her habits changed. A few years back hunting was everything for her, but it's no longer the case. She's developed a part of her personally that actually wants to look good. Don't believe me? Try to watch, how she spends her days - she's mostly slacking off around Jorvaskrr. Not fighting, or hunting, not even training. She just walks around, showing off her skimpy armor, keeping her hair loose... You may not know it, but as a guy who actually has long hair AND trains martial arts I can tell you from experience - unless you tie your hair, you're more likely to hurt yourself than your enemy. Not to mention that loose hair is something your opponent can easily grab. Aela could braid her hair, or at least make a ponytail, but no. She prefers good looks over her own safety and convenience. Also from all the female Companions it's her armor that shows the most skin. There is no mistaking it - she wants to look as sexy, as a hardened warrior possibly can. And as tattoos are her thing, she decided to pronounce her womanly perks by getting a more sensual one this time. That's the story of her third and newest tattoo. The one on her lower back. When you see a tattoo you can usually tell how long ago it was made, as tattoos decay over time. If you look closely at the textures, I did my best to reflect the story - Aela's newest tattoo looks like it has only a few years, while paw looks very old (I also tried to account for the lack of precise tools to make a perfect tattoo in Aela's environment). That's why the one on her lower back has much sharper edges and less grain than the paw. Said rule doesn't apply to her face texture, but there was nothing I could do - game engine forces warpaints to be in 256x256 resolution, at which any detail is lost.
