Hello ! I'm kinda new to the world of modding, so I apologize in advance for my lack of knowledge about this particular subject. I'll try to put as much context as possible so you can help me accordingly ! If I am in the wrong channel please redirect me to the place I should post this. So, there's a character made by SEXYBONO called Daedric Pei. And the author made a follower mod with it. And, I'm really looking forward using the character by installing the mods used by the author, but I came across multiples problems. He didn't put a racemenu preset to use the character as we like (I think it's the author choice or just he didn't thought about it, whatever) and so, I tried to "create" artificially the mod preset by using a mod called "Alternate Actors SE" (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/34448) and "swapped" by character with the follower Pei, but the result is : I don't have all the mod used by the follower to even look close it. (Please look at the pictures uploaded) So, I tried messing with the files of the follower mod to see which mod I was lacking to have my character look like her, and I've come across only one thread talking about it when typing the file names in google. My main point is : is there a way to "retro-engineer" a follower mod to see what mod was used or no ? Am I doomed to look for something else ? Thank you for reading me. ? Ok so ALL the skyrim sex mods, adult mods ect. are cool but there all just short animations that require u to stop game play in a sense to start the animation and then wait for it to finish. Well i wanna see a mod that allows you to just freely grab an npc and have your way with them. So u could run around humping any npc you wanted to in game play. LOL realy though, Coulden't someone that knows what there doing with mod creating make this happen? My thought is that you should be able to use those same "rag doll" mecanics" that allow you to grab a dead npc body by any limb and toss it around to make this mod happen. Does this all make sense? Will somebody tell me if this is possible to create? I have no mod creating exp what so ever so if im not making sense or this is just not acheivable will someone let me know please. Thanks

Hello, I'm kind of new to Wicked Whims but familiar with The Sims 4, mods & CC. I was wondering how you guys go about separating your games between versions? ie WickedWhims and Vanilla or Wicked Whims and non-explicit mods/cc. I tend to play The Sims 4 with family and friends where we might trade builds & sims we've created. I don't want WW to get mixed in with my other saves. Going from vanilla to modded is pretty straight forward but what if you're going between two modded versions? ie. explicit and non-explicit? The censor option of WW for streamers isn't necessarily family friendly and I would rather just not have it in the game while playing with other people. From my understanding it's not as easy to organize your Tray & Saves folder like it is your Mods folder. Thanks for your time guys!

Hello, those who read this. The gist of this post is that in order to preserve my sanity from finding mods that give a good base to work from, I request help on figuring it all out. Things like CAS and CC don't make sense to me, I only started learning about the Sims 4 modding community. I want to learn the best I can. I'm sure many others in the past, current time, and future will struggle like me too. Don't worry about dumbing it down for me, I personally request you explain Sims 4 modding to me like I am five. I'm uncertain the pinned guides/modlist on this general forum are fully relevant or updated. Especially with this recent patch. In summary, treat me like a dry sponge waiting for pints of knowledge. Also, feel free to direct me to fundamental and/or must-have mods, lewd or no. I will gladly discuss things with anyone that answers for a while. I am out of my depth on the moment. I installed the Mod Pack BD's Armor and Clothes Replacer - CBBE 3BA (3BBB) and downloaded it to MO2, also have downloaded all the needed mods for the armor pack an such to work properly. I went through the process of going through each of the Skyrim armor and editing them to how I liked them in BodySlide. After I liked how each of them looked I pressed the build and it said that it successful in the built and was saved to the Data/Meshes/armor file, but when I go in game to take a look it is still the Vanilla Skyrim Armor and not the reskin that I made. Am I missing a step? How come the reskin is not showing? I disabled any other armor mod I was using except BD's so those should not be an issue. The first image is the confirmation of the build being made. Second photo is what is looks like in MO2 in the Data/Meshes/armor/iron/f . I have no idea why it is red, so if that is the issue can you guys help?

This is the first time I am trying out modding and the process for me has been very confusing. I've been looking through forms and tutorials to see what is needed but the main issue I am coming across is the compatibility of the Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE) and the version of Skyrim that it would work on. I'm using Mod Organizer 2 to manage my mods right now. I followed the directions of the forms about the installation for SexLab Framework so I can start looking into other mods that uses its files, but with the whole SKSE64 and Skyrim Version problem I can't make any progress. Right now I have freshly downloaded Skyrim Special Edition so I'm pretty sure that I am on the latest version 1.6.640 of the game. This is where I get confused with all of the forms that I have looked at talked about downgrading the game version so that it can work with other mods and SKSE64. I tried to do this but didn't get any good results. As for the situation for the SKSE64 I went to the website for the extender (https://skse.silverlock.org) and looking at the site it said that I should download the SKSE64(2.2.6) with it being the latest one and would work with the latest version of Skyrim (1.6.640 version I am assuming). I have also seen while looking into modding and forms, is that there are updates that Bethesda makes to Skyrim which messes up everyone's mods and the extender, so could this be an issue? My question though is which Skyrim version should I use and how to downgrade to it if needed and which SKSE64 would be compatible with that version of Skyrim?

Hey, folks. Soon I'll be revamping my first mod, Crippling Poisons, and making it obsolete in favor of a better title and carefully thought out effects for those poisons. At that time, the poisons will still not be craftable, so anyone who has a talent with math will be allowed, at that point, to develop any kind of mod that will make them craftable. But, that's not what I came here to talk about tonight (You can get anything you want at Alice's Restaurant). I came to say that I'll be diving into Skyrim looking for the mechanics of followers, but more specifically, the mechanics that allow the PC to be followed by NPCs. If anyone can point me there faster than I can look for it, and then find it, please do. Thanks. -
Entry 7 - The Train Wreck Cleanup and Q&A Session

Been a while since the last update on CotW's status, so here's a few nuggets of info to break the silence. The majority of you probably know by now of the setbacks the team has had due to RL issues and whatnot. After a long two weeks of working my ass off, I'm slowly easing into it and getting back to work on the art assets. However, I'm going to be shifting gears a bit and start work on the new tattoos, which I haven't really been working on a whole lot since I shelved the Tribal Tattoos overlays plugin a while back. Here's a quick run-down of the new game plan. The Sculpt Works Over the past few months, I have learned quite a bit over creating meshes and textures from scratch while working on original content for Call of the Wild. If any of you know what is involved in creating a mesh from scratch, you'll know what a BITCH it is to optimize hi-poly models for use in the actual game. Baking the normals is a painstakingly long process; it's deceptively difficult, as there are a multitude of things that can go wrong within the process itself and cause the final normal map to become wonky or distorted later down the line. There are quite a few design concepts for things like piercings, jewelry, and some of the "clothing" which will be added by our little mod here. Most of them are very much a WIP, so I don't have a whole lot to show for yet. Creating new textures, by far, is the most time-consuming aspect of the entire process. Unfortunately, I'm a little burned out with model-making because of these things. Overall, I think I've learned more about 3DS Max in the past few weeks than in the past few months. To avoid completely killing my creative drive, I've decided to take a brief break with the 3D art assets. The Ink Works Tattoos are something I've been putting off for a while now. Since I've been "entertained" figuring out how to properly UV Map a mesh, there hasn't been a whole lot done in this particular area. Every now and then I see a potential tattoo design somewhere on the intarwebz and I quickly draw a crude sketch or jot down the details for use later, but that's probably as far as the work has gone up to now. As mentioned before, creating textures is a very delicate process (if you want to get it down right, that is) and tattoos are not so different in that aspect. Given the incredible amount of detail and the sheer complexity of some designs I have thought up, tattoos are going to be significantly slower to produce than say sculpting a mesh or adapting it for the bodies we plan on supporting. However, the total time spent making a set of tattoos is expected to be less than that of a full-blown texture for a new mesh. As of now, there are plans to create two sets of tattoos per subschool of Primal Magic (8 sets in total). Ideally, each set will be an original design in order to distinguish it from the other within the same school. There is a very gameplay-driven reason for this, but more on another entry as we're still fleshing this out. The Framework With the first iteration of the framework essentially completed, Frostbrand has taken to giving it a thorough revision and enhancement of its various core functions such as the way it handles and controls Primal Energy modifiers during spell casting. There's more to it than that, but I don't really know the specifics, or better yet, understand the more complex functions Phoenix & Frostbrand have integrated into it. While this may cause the first alpha version to be delayed a bit more, in the long run it will save the scripting team a lot of time and headaches trying to figure out how to build upon it later down the line. It's best to do this sort of housekeeping now than wait until the crap is spewing out the framework's ass and mouth. Currently, the second iteration framework is in the works. There is no ETA on it, but it is expected to be completed somewhere within the month. Q&A Session Q: "Johnny, Johnny! You said there would be a playable version by the end of the summer! Summer is almost over, bro!" A: That's true, and I apologize for the inaccurate statement. Unfortunately, we've been running into issues which are out of our control such as RL crises. Also, please understand that like any other hobby, we tend to work on CotW on our spare time and when the mood strikes is to. Both which we have been lacking in for the past few days, sadly. At this point, we can't really say much other than perhaps by the end of the year, or early Q1 of 2015. This is all just speculation based on the progress we've made so far and is bound to change if we run into a progress streak or another cockblock down the road. Q: "So wait.. I see Frostbrand is on the team roster again. Didn't he drop out a while back?" A: Yes, and no. He did drop the team briefly while he sorted out a pressing issue in his daily life. Initially, we didn't know if he was going to be back or not, but here he is today! However, he's working on the code part-time when he has time. Q: "Yo, Johnny wtf man? Do you even mesh bro? Although I've been pretty busy in the past two weeks, I have found a little bit of downtime to work on some new stuff for Call of the Wild. See below for a few more gold nuggets from Johnny's Vault. Q: "Johnny, Johnny! What are the new tattoos going to look like?" A: Ah, another prudent question! In accordance with a previous post I made somewhere, they will likely all be tribal in design. Meaning they will remain almost exclusively abstract, but may contain slight hints from what they were inspired by. In all likeliness, expect to see things like fauna and/or flora incorporated into the design. It's a little hard to explain right, but I think you'll see once the first few sets are rolled out. Q: "Dafuq? I didn't ask dis chit! Stop putting words in my mouth, yo!" A: Don't like it? Too bad! All jokes aside, most of these questions are based off of what I get PM'd over. I strongly encourage everyone to leave their questions as a comment in each update from now on. If there are enough questions, I will try to answer them as best I can in the following update. Exhibit A Here is the bracelet design base for the Allure school's first set of jewelry. Pictured in its various stages of progress. I'm still a bit in the air on where I want to take the concept, but I have a few ideas I want to play around with. The plan was to make these into an entire set of armlets, bracelets, and anklets. Perhaps there's more I could do with them.. It still needs to be UV mapped and the normals need to be baked, sadly. Hopefully I can get to that soon. Exhibit B These claws aren't mine. I forgot where I found them exactly, but figured they could be useful for the Ferocity school somehow. Not entirely sure what bonuses or abilities they will grant yet. I've also tailored them to fit the feet to add an extra touch of viciousness the Ferocity school needs. The claw mesh itself isn't the best. At one point or another, I will have to retouch it or begin anew from scratch. In these pics they're seen in red because.. well, why the fuck not? With a simple retexture, they could potentially find a place within CotW. Exhibit C This picture is a bit old (as you can tell by the smaller resolution), but I felt it would be appropriate to share. One of my earlier design concepts I had thought of for the Ferocity or Elemental schools. If I remember correctly, this particular set had a lot of warping issues around the breast areas. Even UNP's UV Map isn't flawless, unfortunately, but still a whole world better than CBBE's. It is probable that I might scrap this design entirely in favor of a new one I've thought of recently.- 2 comments

Hello i am s1mer, and this is my rooftop pose pack.to be honest i was inspired by billie eilishes song "listen before i go" List Of Poses/Anim Sim 2 Pose 1 (Rooftop shake head anim): an animation of a sim shaking their head in fear. Sim 2 pose 2 (rooftop 1): the sim is running to try and stop sim 1 of commiting suicide. Sim 2 Pose 3 (RoofTop Run 2):some more variety in running to make it look like they are running. Sim 2 Pose 4 (Rooftop Run 3):more variety in running. Sim 1 Pose 1 (Rooftop contemplating): Is a sim contemplating to jump or not. Sim 1 Pose 2 (begin fall):the sim is starting to fall off of the building. Sim 1 Pose 3 (begin fall 3):the sim falls a little further. Sim 1 Pose 4 (fall):the sim is in the air falling now. Sim 1 Pose 5 (fall alt):an alternative placement of the sim,for example falling in place of falling over the edge so you have variety. Sim 1 Pose 6 (fall alt 2):more variety in falling placement. Sim 1 Pose 7 (freefall):this is when your sim in in a bit of a different pose then the last and falling midway down. Sim 1 Pose 8 (Freefall Alt): more variety in placement. Sim 1 Pose 9 (Freefall alt 2): allows even more variety in placement.
