Pretty darn good, could've used more troops though. That handful of men did not look much like an invasion force. But aye engine limitations and stuff, so still pretty darn good ... well except for the last line. Despite D. dutifully ensuring her dear husband that it was amazing, he was right, he dropped the ball on that one IMHO. "Dine in HELL?" What happened to Sovengarden? And shouldn't it be more like: "Send some elves to dine in Hell?" After all it's not the job of a soldier to do die for his country, it's the job of a soldier to make the others side's soldiers die for their country.

That aside 300 was a pretty horrible movie. Ok it was fine as the comic adaption that it is, but then the comic was already crap. The only good (and possibly somewhat historical correct) scene was when they threw the Persian envoys into that well.

Still a very well done clip (with great smooth camera motions even I can deal with. ^^) We shall see how Valenwood goes.

Ramping up the anticipation there, EB?  Nicely done.?

Ulfric is such a sportsman though: Towards the end of the clip he even holds his weapons up-side down, presumably to give the elves a chance to appreciate how screwed they are, before they die. I also suppose, that, if he would use the sharp end right away, he would just cleave through the Thalmor-troops and leave nothing for his men. So he gives himself a little handicap. Again: What a sportsman.?

Oh, and I think D.'s line had an unspoken second part: "Let's go kick some Thalmor-Ass - because I am all out of bubblegum."?

p.s. I take it, the line about Destana being a "true daughter of Tamriel" was (mostly) good, old-fashioned propaganda? Meaning: Best be taken with a grain of salt or three. She may be the "heroine" that Skyrim needed, but if she would turn into "the" rolemodel for the next generation of young women all over Tamriel... Err... A generation of "plucky, wise-cracking degenerates" like her? I am not sure, if the continent could survive that. So, perhaps it would be better, if she remained a "one of a kind"-deal. Or at least a limited edition.?

p.s. Nice music-choice too. It's from the FF franchise, isn't it?

As for the dining in hell, well Greeks didn't believe in Hell either! ?

Figured Daughter of Skyrim would sound weird.

Also, as for the song, I want to give you context for my history with it. 10 year old me rents a video game from Blockbuster. When I'm used to games having beeps and boops and being light hearted, this game opens with this tension-building military march.  You're playing the role of a dark knight at the helm of a fleet of airships. The characters offer no explanation, just sure in their mission.  They land in a village of wizards, invading and taking their magic crystal by force then fly off.

That's when I realized video games were a medium in which real stories could be told, like books.

The song itself is patriotic and having a bit of an imperialistic edge.  This rendition is by the Tokyo Orchestra. Much more modern, but it still holds true to the spirit of the original.

Well, at this point D. might as well be an honorary Nord as far as I am concerned. But yes, Daughter of Skyrim would have sounded weird. About as weird as people in Skyrim commenting, that she is "as pale as the snow" because she's a vampire.

However, my point was more, that anyone, who holds the title of "true xyz" (in a positive way), ought to be a rolemodel of sorts for the people. And D.'s biography/autobiography would require some very "creative" editing, before the general public of Tamriel would look at it and say: "Yes, we want our daughters to emulate that. Highqueen Destana is such an inspiration." At least, that's what I suspect.?

As for the music: That sounds like Final Fantasy 4. Never played it myself, but I have watched a playthrough of it fairly recently. I only got into the FF games with part 8 and have not played anything after part 13. Still, the games that I have played, I still remember quite fondly. Perhaps with the exception of 13.

Yeah it's from FF4.  Also, I am working on Entry 75, which will include (at the least) the gathering of the fleets, The Invasion is Coming and the Pt 1 video.  There's a lot more I can illustrate with writing.

I really enjoyed making AoV Pt 1.

But it definitely has some motion sickness~y parts.

Just had a look at the AoV video you posted over at YT. Must say, that it looks quite impressive.? I even found a pic of old Brynjolf's face, when reports of the assault reached Rifton. It would appear, as if he was somewhat speechless as well.?

p.s. I really do think, that the kids could use abit of an additional edge, though. Perhaps Elemental Fury for Runa to give her higher attack-speed (if her sword doesn't count as enchanted) and magic resistance from the Lord Stone for all.

BTW, did you install new movement animations? Some of the idles of D. reminded me of the FNIS sexy move stuff and her sprinting (8:40ish) also looks new.

Yep. New animations via DAR. For run, jump, sprint, idle and all attack types.

Also, I dunno if you saw a few times when Runa got her attack speed buff but she gets pretty scary when that happens.   They all need better resist, yes.  There's a whole part I cut out where Damien was using a ward in his offhand which worked, but I cut a lot of people's action down quite a bit.

Huh. There are so many things eveb in the base game. I forgot standing stones could do that. Haven't been using them in forever.
