thank you this mod , you make FO4 more alive.
For the moment i got not trouble with this mod it's running smoothly in my case.

My suggestion hoping to see the NPC Approach  similar to BakaFactory use with Sexlab Approach Redux.

An NPC can approach the player not only for sex just casual talking.
For example:

Npc:  Say Hi
Player can choose: - Say Hi.
                             - Cordial rejection
                             - Rude rejection  ( reputation penalty )

if the player say Hi the NPC can give the player some advice or just want to asking her/his name and maybe where she/he lives.
Obviously there is a chance NPC will ask for casual sex.

ThankS for the answer, it works using Xpadder (or any similar joystick-mouse/keyboard software) I just gonna post it here if there's another gamepad user. Just bind the "run" button to the assigned key, the "run" button is harmless when talking with npc's. You could use the "guide" button too for the mcg options key (Xbox controller) so it works just fine for me, thanks. :D

I am sorry then it's probably one of those new mods you installed, they probably change something that Hudframework needs, if i receive more reports about that i'll add those in the incompatibility list, in the mean time you can try in those mods support mentioning to them that their mods stopped your hudframework. Also to make surr you can try another mod that needs hudframework and see if that mod widgets works so you cam be extra sure that hudframework has really stopped working for you completely

I installed DEF UI now and patched the Hudmenu.swf.


I think the mod works, it is just the widgets. Now Im gonna desinstall MCG and install again, start a new game and see if the widgets work.

Make sure you install the DEF UI HUD FRAME WORK compatibility patch too.

Oh I noticed some minor detail here. I'm using AAF animations and all the required patches and installed some other mods and I sadly notice there's no freefly cam during animations with AAF but use some sort of duplication character system, it doesn't matter really because it does the job. My problem here is that I cannot move the "doppelganger" during M.C.G. interactions, I can rotate the camera but cannot walk, the doppelganger freeze in place for some unknown reason, but only happens with this mod. Is this mod blocking the "camera man" movement? Or Do I need some sort of POV camera mod?

I don't have this problem you said, did you installed MCG using the loose file? (The loose files have an old LL.pex script for modders, if you installed that and overwrite your script with that you messed your install, as i said in the OP)

 

 

MCG don't change anything about LL cameras, i did that in the four play version...you did not install that old version together with this, right?

 

Also can you be more specific about what interactions? In all interactions or i.e. when the player is defeated?

Hey there, First off; I think this is a great mod! And I appreciate the time you have put into the mod! 

 

I do however, think I have found a bug, or possibly a mod conflict that has to do with the affinity of companions (in my case Piper). 

 

First, it should be noted that I also use AFT (Advanced Followers Tweaks) as a method of getting more then one follower at a time, AND it has the ability to limit companion's reactions to affinity checks (stop/convert dislike actions to like actions, etc.) HOWEVER; I have not initiated those features during the play through. (Doesn't mean they haven't caused a conflict, from what I understand of coding however.)

 

So for the play through that I noticed this affinity bug, I had both Cait and Piper as my companions . And while Cait would gain affinity for actions, Piper LOST affinity-even for actions she liked such as lock picking! (it would even say "Piper liked that", then drop the overall total.) 

 

I tested it with Piper and Cait by checking their affinity with MCG options, then picked a lock (they both like that action) Cait would gain in Affinity by 16 points, but Piper would lose affinity by 22! If I gave Sheffield a cola, (an action that Piper loves, but Cait hates) Cait would lose 22 affinity, and Piper would lose 22 affinity... If I was mouthy (Piper dislikes, Cait likes) Piper would lose 22, Cait would gain 16... 

I will admit that I have not test it solely with Piper...

MCG doesn't change the vanilla way of gaining or loosing affinity. I am sure that if you uninstall MCG and you run the consolle command "getvalue CA_affinity" pointing your companions you'll see that they loose and gain affinity as they should even with MCG uninstalled, so this is hardly an MCG conflict. What MCG does to affinity are 2 things: If and only if you have the infidelty reporting system enabled and a romanced companion see your treason they reset they affinity to 0. If and only if you have the crime system enabled and a companion with more than 100 affinity see you doing public sex then you loose 100 affinity. MCG don't do anything else to affinity. So can you try with MCG uninstalled and run that command to see if that behaviour is still present? In that case is an AFT bug. If they havent then try to put MCG before AFT in load order, if AFT is an .esp (i don't remember)

 

If you do those tests and report you'll do me a favor, if there's really a bug we'll find it :)

I think it is a problem with the LO. One odd thing it is when i look the pipboy, what happens is when in game i look to my pipboy the compas and the follower widget and the MCG widgets activate, it started when the widgets of this mod stopped working, also i notify in my last playtrhough that the follower bar widgets doesnt work either, but ... activates when i look in to the pipboy. Something is wrong here and i feel it has to do with some plugin.

A couple of questions: (i apologize if i already asked to you because my memory is not good when having to attend to mods in different games)

 

-did you installed the MCG loose files?

-did you ever installed the MCG loose files? (Even if you unistalled them now)

- did you ever installed the old MCG version that was for four play or the earlier AAF (the one called once MCG 1.7.10)?

-did you try the reset widget button in the debug page of MCG?

-did you tried installing a mod dependent on hudframework like the time clock mod by registrator2000 and see if it works? Try that mod with MCG unistalled and MCG installed to see if it works in one of those case.

-what's in the bashed patch?

 

This said, you can move MCG from that load order and put it higher, it should not give you problems, try to put it the highest possible

 

Report your test, we'll find the problem ?

 

(It's possible that i'll answer you tomorrow though because it's almost sleeping time for me in CEST)

- I tried now the loose files version, with no success.

- Never installed the loose files version of the mod, until now.

- I think i installed that mod but it was in another fallout 4.

- I tried several times, and dont do nothing the widgets remain at zero even when i have in the diary and in the stats menu 20 points of wear.

- I installed now, exited the vault and worked fantastically. It marks my timezone and the game time with precission.

- The bashed patch do the leveld lists it's the only option wrye bash has at the moment for fallout 4, i think.

I deactivate all mods of armor, equip and weapons still having the same issue when i look at the pipboy and the paralisis at zero of the widgets of MCG.

 

I also erased some folders... like the script and F4SE folder in the data of fallout 4.  And in my documents the folder for saving the options of some mods. I had to put the options of the survival unloker again ...

After erasing, i annealled all the intallers with the wrye bash installer to start from scracht, a fresh install of scripts and F4SE plugins, if you can call that. And still having that problem...

 

I dont know i think it maybe be the mod to personalize the pipboy because it is very weird that the hud shows up in the pipboy menu. And that's all i learned at the moment.

It seems you did already all you can do...mmm ? can you open your f4edit and see if the "anghelosWidgets" quest in MCG is highlighted as in a conflict?

 

Remember to unistall the loose files, and use the normal packed version now

I desinstalled your mod, now im using the good old RSE packages... And the problem of the compass showing in the pipboy menu still persists, so it's not your mod, but the strange thing is why only affect the widgets of your mod, and only those widgets aaaaand only that feature of your mod, this thing is quite weird.

When you update your mod or when i have time and get pissed off i'll will do the analisis with F4edit.

I've been playing modded games since oblivion and this bug is beeing hard to track down, I believe it has to do with my  last redownload and update of the AAF packages... or maybe it is another thing... for now im gonna play some because im getting mad with this bug.

you can use this mod alongside just business... it's fairly simple to swap slaves between the 2 systems. Just go hunter mode and mark the MCG slave, you can re-enslave into that system.  Then to swap into MCG use combat submit dialogue.. just know that it is will be marked as a crime, so you need to do it in a private area.   Using both has many advantages, but the downside is that Just Business requires XDI, and that will mess with the values displays of MCG.  If you can live with that, it works pretty well.

 

Also swapping slaves between the 2 systems will reset their stored values, so keep that in mind.

I'm playing using a custom player race, that has this keyword. But it still isn't compatible with this and mods like AAF prostitution/violate. 
Is there any way I can fix that?

I need to know exactly what that mod changes to be able to help. Is that mod changing only the player or also the npcs?

 

Edit >>> a question: does sexual animation involving the player play when you have that mod?

I haven't been able to nail anything down, but there is definitely some sort of error or bug in the affinity system and the interaction of MCG and AFT....

I say this because I have used AFT for over a year with no affinity issues on multiple playthroughs, But once I had AFT and MCG together, well.... Piper will no longer talk to me anymore as Apparently opening locks and hacking terminals pushed me to -4500 affinity in 30 minutes :D

So, reloading a save game and using some console commands, I set Piper's affinity to 1600 (only shows as 1500... (it always chops 100 points off what I type and what gets reported through MCG affinity report. ) And I took a screen shots... just before, during, and after a lock pick... and Piper, while she like picking locks... drops 500 affinity!

Try it without MCG and using the commands i told you about, maybe you didn't noticed this behaviour because you had not MCG that let you see the affinity with a simple button. I find very difficult to believe this can be done by MCG because there is not even the code for that behaviour in the mod...well we'll see sometimes programming is not a science :D

 

by yhe way don't test on a new game, test it in the same game without MCG installed or else we can't pinpoint the culprit.

Ok, I did some more testing, as best as I was able. 

 

from what I was able to test, MCG and AFT play well together with a single companion and their affinities. 

 

With AFT installed and MCG disabled, companion affinity tracks as it should. 

With MCG installed and AFT disabled, again companion affinity tracks as it should.

With BOTH MCG and AFT installed with a single companion, affinity tracks as it should...

 

So, if there is a bug or conflict (and not just something wacky with my game -hey! it could happen! I do have a bunch of other mods as well and conflicts could be anywhere!) between the two mods, it coming in when you have more then one companion at the same time. and thus I can't really test that as MCG doesn't have multiple companion support built into it :( 

 

not sure if that helps you any, or not... but that's as far as I can go with my limited computer and mod experience.

 

***on a side note, I use Vortex and I am not too familiar with it, but when I tried to change the load order of these two mods, I got a CTD every time which I don't know how to fix,. So the load order hasn't changed from the original Vortex sorting.

Sorry, went ahead and did my other testing before reading your response ?

 

I went into the same game, and disabled MCG, and did some lock picking...

 

and Piper's affinity continued to drop... So, as you suspected, it doesn't seem to be an MCG issue, but an issue with some other mod. 

Odd that this issue only came up when I installed MCG 2.41 from an older version and started a new game....

 

but, that's the life of a modded game :D 

 

thanks for your help with this issue.... I'll start looking into other mods that could be causing the problem.

You're welcome, i am sorry i can't help more but as i said my humble opinion is you already had this issue but you did not notice because you were not using consolle commands for companions to check their affinity each time you did a lockpick, with MCG instead is very easy to check companions affinity and because of this you had the opportunity to find this strange behaviour.

Hope you'll find the culprit :)

I also noticed this with MCG and ATF that my followers points were rocketing down even if I set them to love everything, I'll have to test it more.

Do as i said to the previous user: unistall MCG and use the consolle commands to check your companions affinity. I bet they rocket down the same, probably a problem with ATF. MCG don't have the code to make those changes. And as i said you probably noted this behaviour with MCG because this mod let you check the affinity very easily, while before you didn't use the consolle commands like you are now using that MCG button.

 

Also can you open your game in f4edit and see if any of the ATF quests are highlighted in red because they are overridden by MCG? If so please tell me what quests are higlighted.

 

When you finish the tests let me know, if this is Indeed a conflict i'll try to resolve it :)

I desinstalled companion status bars with no succes in catching the culprit of the mod, i am still getting the compass on pipboy bug, i'm gonna reinstall it now as i'm writing this.
