Allow ❤️❤️friendly❤️❤️ creatures to take advantage of your character and NPCs. Any nearby non-hostile creatures with a high enough arousal will pursue and force themselves on (or seduce) your character or any available NPC. There are lots of configuration options to customise your experience, including dialogue and hotkey invitation. Aroused Creatures is designed to provide an immersive way to enable sex with creatures outside combat. This is intended to compliment combat-sex mods like SexLab Defeat which allow combat to end or be avoided with sex, including sex with creatures. As such, Aroused Creatures specifically excludes engagement with hostile creatures in order to allow combat mods like this to function. SexLab Aroused Creatures SE is developed from the Legendary Edition SexLab Aroused Creatures. Please note that any support for patched versions of Aroused Creatures must be sought from the authors of the patches. License All contained code and assets: GPLv3. Full license included in archive. Installation Skyrim must be installed outside Program Files to avoid potential issues with Windows UAC. This is not just an Aroused Creatures issue - modded Skyrim should never be installed in protected areas of the file system. Doing so can prevent SKSE and other modding tools from functioning correctly. Avoid any folder created by Windows itself, including Documents, Desktop, Downloads, etc. Folders in the root of a drive other than C are recommended. Exclusions must be configured in any antivirus or antimalware apps for the game installation folder, folders containing any modding tools including the mod manager, the mod manager instance or staging folder, and the mods download folder. As with install location, this is an issue for modded Skyrim in general not just Aroused Creatures. Antivirus can interfere with the normal operation of mod managers, SKSE and SKSE plugin mods like SexLab and PapyrusUtil which Aroused Creatures depends on. Use Mod Organizer 2 (fully supported) or Vortex Mod Manager. NMM and manual installation are not supported! Enable the mod in the MO2 left panel, and make sure the SexLab Aroused Creatures.esp is enabled in the Plugins tab. It should not matter where the ESP is in the load order, so long as it is after SexLab.esm and SexLabAroused.esm. Run Pandora and deal with any warnings or errors (they are all important). By default, Aroused Creatures does not display any notifications during initial installation. This is to avoid contributing to new-game notification spam. Once in-game ensure that SexLab is fully installed. For the original SexLab, this requires opening the SexLab MCM, clicking the Install option, exiting the menu then waiting for SexLab's "Ready" notification at the top left of the screen. For SexLab P+ it should be fully installed automatically. Once SL installation is complete open the SexLab MCM again, choose the Animations Settings page and uncheck the Disable Starting Teleport option (to speed up animation start), then enable the Allow Creature Animations option (to install creature support). Close the menu and wait for the message that creature animations have been installed. Aroused Creatures will be active as soon as creature animation installation has finished. You may need to install SLAL packs to make creature animations available. For SLP+ this will involve adding compatible SLSB packs or using the Automated SLSB Conversions mod (available from the SexLab P+ download page). Open the SLAL MCM page then enable and register the installed animations. Check the Aroused Creatures MCM > Help page for any issues with the installation. Highlight an indicator on this page to see an explanation and possible solution at the bottom of the interface. Updating If it ain't broke, don't fix it! If you are mid-game and the mod is doing everything you want it to, then consider not updating until your next playthrough. Updating always comes with the risk of new issues, which can be avoided if you don't need the fixes or new features the update provides. Back up your Aroused Creatures configuration in the AC MCM > Profiles page. Enter a name for the profile in the text field at the top right, then click a profile save slot below it. Again, if an update goes badly, you will be able to use the profile to get back to where you were much faster. Make a named save before updating. To do this, open the in-game console and use the command save "Before SLAC v4.16". If the update goes badly, you can then reinstall the previous version and load up that save to get back to where you were. Aroused Creatures is specifically designed to support mid-game updates, and will handle conversion of settings and states where necessary. To update, simply uninstall the previous version and install the new one. Run LOOT to make sure the load order is updated. When loading the last save, there may be some notification messages to indicate that the update has made changes. Check your configuration, and enjoy. Downgrades are not supported. To downgrade you will need to load a save from before the upgrade. How To Use Automatic The core functionality of Aroused Creatures is automatic and does not require user input. By default Aroused Creatures will be active as soon as SL is ready. If a creature with a suitable arousal level is within range of a female NPC or PC they will begin to pursue them. When they are close enough they will start a non-consensual SL animation (or a consensual one if there are no alternatives). Only two pursuits can be active at the same time, one NPC and one PC, but another NPC pursuit can begin as soon as a victim is engaged. By default, other creatures can queue to use an already engaged actor. To increase the frequency with which engagements are triggered go to the Aroused Creatures MCM, select the PC/NPC Auto Settings and reduce the Creature Arousal Threshold for the PC and/or NPC. Invitation To directly invite a creature to engage the PC access the Aroused Creatures MCM -> Dialogue & Interactions, find the Invite Creature Hotkey and chose an input. Adjust the Invite Arousal which will be used to test the creature's arousal when trying to invite them. Now stand close to a creature with the reticle over them and hit the invite key. A message should be displayed if the creature is not suitably aroused or cannot be animated for some reason, otherwise an SL animation should start. Settings in the Creature Framework MCM can be used to change the level at which creatures become visibly aroused to help show the player when they might be interested. Hold the key for one second to try and perform oral sex on the creature. Hold the key for two seconds to invite nearby creatures of the same species as the targeted creature to a group animation. Dialogue options can be enabled under Dialogue & Interactions that will allow you to direct your follower NPCs and creatures by talking to them. You may also extend this to non-followers. Some dialogue options will only be available after selecting an actor with the Target Select Key (default [N]) - for instance, select a creature then persuade your NPC follower to deal with it, or select an NPC and task your creature with chasing them down. There are plenty of other settings to explore and customise your experience. Hover over a setting in the MCM to view a description at the bottom of the interface In-Game Help There is now a Help MCM page which will display potential issues with the configuration of Aroused Creatures and SexLab. Hover over any warning to get a detailed description. The Help page will also list recently failed engagements and their failure codes. Hover over these codes to display a description of what they mean and any potential solutions. Saving and Loading Profiles Aroused Creatures configurations can be saved and loaded via the Profiles MCM page allowing settings to be transferred between saves. When using MO2 these saved profiles will be found in the Overwrite mod under SKSE > Plugins > ArousedCreatures and may be moved to another mod if required. If they are moved to the Aroused Creatures mod itself then please remember to back them up before updating or they will be lost for good. It may be more prudent to store them in a separate mod specifically for such SKSE data. Arousal Exposure to nudity and witnessing sex acts will increase creature arousal and produce more frequent engagements. This is not controlled by Aroused Creatures. Hi, long time lurker here. I've been looking for mods that add female genitals to animals for a while now but can't seem to find what I'm looking for. I've looked here in many forums and found small clues that hint they existed but I'm so far unsuccessful in finding working ones. I've seen plenty of references to Gender Horses and Gender Dogs by RavenKZP, but unfortunately those mods seem to have been deleted and are inaccessible to me. The MNC "Mod Compatibility Kit index of patches" description section says it includes female meshes, but I don't know if that's still the case and I just don't know how to use them or if that functionality was removed and the description not changed. I found this burried in the forums, but have no idea if it's in a working state. I've also come across Gary_s Real Mare Horse Mod, but it's for LE and I can't find any ports to SE/AE. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/9279/# Feeling pretty stuck on this particular subject. Does anyone have a copy of the Gender Horses/Dogs mods or know of any other mods like these that I could use? Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance!

Adds more friendly domestic animals to the world of Skyrim. This places around 500 non-hostile creatures in cities, villages, farms, mills, etc, and also adds a dogs to interiors like inns and Jarl halls. The primary intention is to provide more animals that will work with SexLab Aroused Creatures SE while not introducing anything too immersion-breaking (like pet sabre cats and house-trolls). As a result the vast majority (about 95%) of these are dogs and horses. In order to provide some variety within this restriction the mod references the Judah dog model included in Hentai Creatures SE so the mod will need to be installed for the model and textures (the ESP does not need to be enabled if not wanted). IMPORTNAT: As of Jan 2025, Hentai Creatures has been replaced by Creature Summoner. All other versions of Hentai Creatures have been taken down. This new mod does not include the models and textures for Judah (the German Shepherd Dog) used by SLMC. If you do not have access to a copy of Hentai Creatures v1.5 or earlier, use SexLab More Creatures SE v1.02 - Non-Essential Respawning No GSD.7z to avoid invisible dogs. If you are able to install Hentai Creatures, use SexLab More Creatures SE v1.02 - Non-Essential Respawning.7z. This mod does not have any built-in SexLab functionality nor any adult content. It is listed as both because of the partial dependency and the intended use. All animals have markers they will return to when not occupied which should keep them from blocking traffic for too long. Most SLMC spawns use levelled lists so horse and dog breeds will be random for the most part. The major exception is guard dogs which are all armoured huskies. The horses in and around cities will tend to be of the appropriate breed for the location though there is a chance for them to be another breed. Their breed can change if the cell is reset. Animals in an around major cities that are attacked during the Civil War quests should be temporarily disabled until the events are complete. Generally the placement is consistent with location, so you won't find a saddled horse near some random bridge in the middle of nowhere only in places that someone could conceivably leave a horse saddled. You'll find armoured husky "guard dogs" in jarl's residences and occasionally at guard posts and town entrances. There are also some tame wolves in and around Jorrvaskr and some summoned dogs in and around The Mages' College. Other than those there are no saber cats, bears, werewolves or anything else that would required an "excuse" outside of the story for its presence. I've avoided placing animals in locations where I know stealth is required at some time. This is an early version and a complete do-over of the original Oldrim SLMC mod so I'd be grateful if you could provide some bug reports. In particular we are looking for animals spawning inside walls, animals being unexpectedly aggressive, free horses (they are all supposed to be owned) and any clashes with other mods. Ideally I'd need to know the exact location and creature(s) involved. If you find an area that you think has too many or too few animals that would also be helpful. In the current version (v1.01 and later) the creatures are non-essential, re-spawning and PC-level calculated. Killed creatures will re-spawn after 30 in-game days without the PC visiting their location. This mod has no scripting, no models or textures and should be very safe to install and uninstall at will. Load order should not really matter, but if you see any cell being overridden please report it. This mod has been cleaned in SSEEdit. Customisation If you want to delete SLMC spawns from a given area the NPCs can be removed from the esp using SSEEdit. To remove everything from a cell just delete the cell from the esp. To remove individual creatures, such as all horses from city cells, locate and expand the cell and delete only the unwanted NPC entries from that cell. Do not delete the XMarkerHeading entries in the "persistent" branches. Tip: Alt-Right-Click on the +/- next to SexLab More Creatures.esp to expand or collapse all branches. Creatures can be safely disabled in-game using the console: open the console, click on the creature, ensure that the first two digits of the ID displayed at the top of the console match the load order position of SLMC, type disable and enter. Requirements Hentai Creatures SE (the ESP does not need to be active if you do not want the summonable creatures this mod provides). See IMPORTANT note at the top of the description. Recommended Simple No More Stupid Dog (the "stupid dog" dialogue will otherwise be continuous due to the number of dogs) Quiet Dog (use the SIt version to reduce the amount of barking from all the extra dogs) Wolf Howl Fix (so that the wolves around Jorrvaskr won't be completely mute) Install Use a mod manager of choice (MO2 is recommended) Update Make a clean save to ensure changes are properly applied. You'll find armoured husky "guard dogs" in jarl's residences and occasionally at guard posts and town entrances. There are also some tame wolves in and around Jorrvaskr and some summoned dogs in and around The Mages' College. Other than those there are no saber cats, bears, werewolves or anything else that would required an "excuse" outside of the story for its presence. I've avoided placing animals in locations where I know stealth is required at some time. This is an early version and a complete do-over of the original Oldrim SLMC mod so I'd be grateful if you could provide some bug reports. In particular we are looking for animals spawning inside walls, animals being unexpectedly aggressive, free horses (they are all supposed to be owned) and any clashes with other mods. Ideally I'd need to know the exact location and creature(s) involved. If you find an area that you think has too many or too few animals that would also be helpful. In the current version (v1.01 and later) the creatures are non-essential, re-spawning and PC-level calculated. Killed creatures will re-spawn after 30 in-game days without the PC visiting their location. This mod has no scripting, no models or textures and should be very safe to install and uninstall at will. Load order should not really matter, but if you see any cell being overridden please report it. This mod has been cleaned in SSEEdit. Customisation If you want to delete SLMC spawns from a given area the NPCs can be removed from the esp using SSEEdit. To remove everything from a cell just delete the cell from the esp. To remove individual creatures, such as all horses from city cells, locate and expand the cell and delete only the unwanted NPC entries from that cell. Do not delete the XMarkerHeading entries in the "persistent" branches. Tip: Alt-Right-Click on the +/- next to SexLab More Creatures.esp to expand or collapse all branches. Creatures can be safely disabled in-game using the console: open the console, click on the creature, ensure that the first two digits of the ID displayed at the top of the console match the load order position of SLMC, type disable and enter. Requirements Hentai Creatures SE (the ESP does not need to be active if you do not want the summonable creatures this mod provides). See IMPORTANT note at the top of the description. However my game not meant for adults stuff all the time I do still enjoy playing skyrim and most of the time I do play the game it's really rare I do use adults mods now the problem is in every house there is 3 dogs or 5 and when they're together breathing in the same time it's so fucking annoying I can't handle this anymore I was playing earlier the dawnguard dlc and I quit because I got headache and I'm typing this to see if anyone can help me I couldn't find mods that mute the dogs is there one or it least disable them? About Enderal: Special Edition and Schlongs of Skyrim for the NPCs that aren't the playable races... what mods would I need to make schlongs appear on them—the Vatyr as an example? I don't really know which of the Schlongs of Skyrim mods, that aren't for the playable races, are compatible with Enderal: Special Edition since it's... different from Skyrim: Special Edition.

If you guys were not aware, there are rigs made available for animators and CAS Part creators to use to when making their animations and CAS Parts. However, these rigs are locked away inside Wicked Whims. This forces animators/CAS Part authors and users of those animations/CAS Parts to use Wicked Whims so that their animations and CAS Parts work correctly ingame. I propose the rigs be made available as a separate and publicly available download, outside of Wicked Whims. I see no reason for Wicked Whims to have exclusive "rights" to such a crucial aspect of the animations and CAS Parts part of the community! We should take after the Skyrim community and the XP32 Maximum Skeleton Extended mod. Their rigs (or skeletons as they are called there) are made available as a separate download, I see zero reasons why the rigs in The Sims 4 should stay privatized and exclusively locked into Wicked Whims. Just to be clear this applies mainly to Sim Rigs, whether they are for Human Sims, Werewolf Sims, Animal Sims, or any other types of Sims that may come about in the future. There are benefits to this: 1. The rigs can be updated separately from Wicked Whims 2. People will not be forced to download and install Wicked Whims just to use the rigs. 3. Animators and mod authors will be able to make and utilize animations outside of the Wicked Whims framework in their own mods without having to make it a requirement. 4. Less fighting over who owns what when it comes to the vanilla rigs asset. 5. Multiple rigs can be made available on the same download page, so if people want a rig with certain bones (Such as the old Wicked Whims rig that had tongue and penis tip bones), they may freely download and access them, without having to download an old version of Wicked Whims just to get access to these. 6. It is publicly available and can be installed separately. People will not be required to include the rigs directly in their mods when they upload it. 7. There will be way less rig conflicts. People will not be required to worry about load order when it comes to rigs. Like this post, if you agree. (Like my next post if you disagree)

How can I disable RJW for my animals? I don't want them to have boobs and stuff or to get pregnant with the RJW system, I've put animals with animals not getting pregnant in the options but if I do that my animals won't have children, I just want the vanilla sex system for my animals

So after deactivating billy animations and running fnis. My animals and other creatures are all stuck in place. They won't move. I have no idea what is causing this. I ran fnis several times and the creatures option for fnis is greyed out and won't allow me to press it. I don't have any mods other than the billy animations I just deleted that have anything to do with the animals.

Allow friendly creatures to take advantage of your character and NPCs. Any nearby non-hostile creatures with a high enough arousal will rape (or seduce) your character or any available NPC. There are lots of configuration options to customise your experience. Some effort has been made to provide compatibility with Submit, Defeat and Deviously Helpless by filtering creatures rendered non-hostile by their respective calm spells but the results may not function perfectly. Ultimately this mod is intended to be a drop-in replacement for the venerable Lover's Victim Dogs & Horses which is sadly no longer supported. However, SLAC has been built from scratch and does not share any code or other assets with this predecessor. v04.0 Beta 04 This is the beta version of the next release of Aroused Creatures. The big updates for this over v03 are the addition of a pursuit option that allows creatures to chase victims prior to engagement and the ability to filter consensual and non-consensual animations (this only works for SLAC engagements). There is also some very basic support for creature gender but the options are limited right now. From Beta 01 Aroused Creature will default to using quest aliases instead of a cloak spell for detecting nearby creatures. See the change log below for more details. The beta will only function with SexLab Framework v1.59c and later. Animation filtering and creature gender options will only function with v1.60 RC2 and later. Submit and Defeat events may occasionally be interrupted by this mod triggering in the time between the player being downed and an animation starting. The actual result of this will vary from nothing to the enemies remaining calmed after an event. While there are now checks built in to try and prevent this the actual cause of incorrect progression in those mods is rarely clear. There can be quite a lag between a creature being selected for an engagement and the animation actually starting. You might find your character teleported a short distance back to where the engagement was actually triggered. With a long check frequency it is possible to run past a valid candidate creature in the time between checks. Lower the time between checks or increase the engagement radius to decrease the chances of this happening. For performance reasons the Nude Only option uses the Nude Faction from SexLab Aroused. This means there can be a delay after equipping or unequipping clothing and armour before Aroused Creatures detects the change. The Require LoS option is very buggy: creature and victim can be standing face-to-face, inches apart, head-tracking each other, and apparently still not have line of sight. If this is causing you problems it is recommended to disable it. Without Require LoS it is possible for creatures to teleport through walls to reach their victim. Versions 01.1 through 04.0 of this mod have been cleaned in TES5Edit. This is a very simple mod that replaces various predatory animals throughout skyrim with humans in various states of dress. The animals that are replaced include wolves, ice wolves, bears, cave bears, snow bears, sabrecats, snowy sabrecats, trolls, and frost trolls. The humans that replaced them should belong to exactly the same factions as the creature they replace, minus the creature faction, and should therefore should not cause issues. They should also still drop the items the creatures carried, as well as their gear. They are hopefully about the same level of challenge as well. I made it primarily because I got sick of fighting wolves over and over again. Now I get to fight escaped slavegirls instead. While this mod was intended to be used with mods like CBBE, sexlab, sexlab defeat, ect, it does not require any of those things. Ideas for similar mods: Male Version: done Both Genders Version: done Replace predators with horses, cows, and other non-hostile animals: not done Change some of the enemies to mutes, or have them make animal noises: not done Known issues: This mod should not cause any issues by itself. It may increase demand on the system if humans are more difficult to load than the creatures they replace, however, and my game did crash once on encountering a 20+ sized wolf pack. I was using other mods to increase the number of enemies at the time, and the "wolves" had weapons and armor then, and no longer do, so I'm not sure if that same scenario would be a problem anymore. Most of you probably have better computers than me as well, so you shouldn't have any problems. Since this mod replaces various creatures, it will conflict with other mods that also do that. If another mod changes the spawn points to it's own custom made spawn points, this mod may not work. This mod has no requirements other than skyrim. Adds more friendly domestic animals to the world of Skyrim. This places around 300 non-hostile creatures in cities, villages, farms, mills, etc, and also adds a few dogs to interiors like inns and Jarl halls. The primary intention is to provide more animals that will work with Aroused Creatures while not introducing anything too immersion-breaking (like pet sabre cats and house-trolls). As a result the vast majority (about 95%) of these are dogs and horses. In order to provide some variety within this restriction the mod references the Judah dog model included in More Nasty Critters and the husky model from the Dawnguard DLC. This means that the complete MNC install is required, which in turn requires both DG and DB DLC. The plan was to provide separate plugins for those with and without the DLC, but a few hours into the edit it became apparent that this was just too much work to be completed in any reasonable amount of time. My apologies to those without the DLC. Generally the placement is consistent with location, so you won't find a saddled horse near some random bridge in the middle of nowhere only in places that someone could conceivably leave a horse saddled. This is an attempt to creature Futanari creatures for Skyrim, first I'm working on the creatures, This mod will only edit Animals, minus the netch, The new meshes are High Poly too. Some features I need to continue to work: Limp penis variations that use the same testicles, I already make the testicles separate from the penis. I made everything from scratch by myself, the textures use vanilla assets, maybe I can search for better ones or make branc new ones. The vaginas are only diamond shapes, penises are easy, but vaginas are harder. Add collisions for penis and vagina, I figured how to make and ABC-Like system, and that will make this work with animations that use ABC. Bodyslide Options, to let people customization of how they want their creatures. Creature Framework Options. Make the new female variations and futanari variations spawn normally. Maybe new sounds? can be harder. This mod is incompatible with any other mod that edit creatures, the idea of this mod is mostly to add futanari creatures, Humanoid-like and dwemer are planned for the future. I didn't use other people assets, I made everything. You can help with feedback, or if you know how to make Vaginas for creatures, maybe you can teach me. I added skeletons but they are mostly placeholders. Some SKSE Files are added, made for the chicken and Rabbit, you can check them to have an idea of what I'm doing. Anger provoked an adrenaline rush. I used one of my yoga poses as a fighting stance. One hand on the ground for balance, my body straight and both legs stretched in front and behind me. It was an inverted splits, which knocked over three out of the gang's four members. Not bad, I knew my kicks were devastating! The last guy still standing tried to tackle me. I sat cross-legged after my first move. This position gave me a considerable advantage: an outstanding view of his groin. I gave everything my arms had to offer, stopping his run by striking his lower belly with my hands. I rolled towards the man I'd just deprived of offspring. Among them, he was the only one with a rifle and therefore my best chance of bringing a swift end to the fight. Once I'd retrieved the rifle, I aimed at the guy who'd just shredded my tank top. I thought back over the previous minutes when his gang had assumed they had me. Who was the fool now? The humiliation I'd just suffered could only be appeased in one way: the permanent disposal of these bastards. With them gone, only their bodies remained behind me. I was proud of what I'd accomplished, even if my breasts were now completely exposed. Looking into the distance, I could see a radio antenna at the mountain summit. I had no reason to stick around, the gang didn't have the loot from yesterday's caravan. These raiders truly served no purpose... Except for the rifle. I took the main path to the mountain. It was a wide road with a few wrecked cars. I felt confident about the steep climb, despite having no shoes. The road ranged from gravel to dry soil. Nothing too challenging for a barefoot walker like me! I came to a crossroads where brahmins were drinking water under a tiny shelter. I could either go ahead where the path sloped back down into the jungle, or I could turn left and keep on climbing. I still wanted to give my legs another push and get to the radio tower. As I ascended further, I heard the sound of a waterfall nearby. I had made some good progress and deserved a refreshing break. The waterfall created a small stream. I crouched down and began to drink from it with my hand. The water was so pure, so natural, untouched by radiation. I wanted more, I felt a sudden desire to take a refreshing dip. I stripped off completely. At first the water chilled slightly, but once my whole body was beneath the waterfall, the temperature was just perfect, thanks to the sun. I could have stayed for hours enjoying the wild landscape of ancient Central America. It was definitely the best bath of my life. Being naked in this peaceful place was so pleasant, feeling at one with Mother Nature and closer to her... I rested on some rocks with moss, letting the sun dry my body from the wonderful dip I'd just taken. After a break of an hour or two, I put on my clothes (what was left of them) and set out again on the dirt road towards the mountain summit. I'd gained so much altitude that I could see the marshes from yesterday, even the beach I'd stranded on. I hoped to find some information up there so I could get back to Boston. I had reached the radio tower. The antenna appeared so high up, it could almost touch the sky. The afternoon sun began to hide behind a few clouds. I'd be surprised if I ran into anyone - it was quite a journey to get here! Someone was kind enough to unhinge the radio station's back entrance. I balanced on the door to get in. The place had been abandoned long ago. There were rusty old terminals, a desk with office furniture, some lockers and a chest inside a fenced-in room. Perhaps more interesting stuff awaited me inside... After searching the desk and lockers, both of which were empty, I found the jackpot behind one of these. A bunch of keys that had to open the security door and chest next to me. I was really hoping to find a suitable top, I could feel the cold hitting my nipples. The trunk contained a few odds and ends, but above all, a leather chest top. Made by Ropa Americana, a local store at the mountain's bottom. Thanks to whoever stored this piece here, I intended to put it to good use. Gosh, I loved my new leather top! Plenty of pockets for storage, a shoulder strap and an ammo belt. I'd done a full sweep through the radio station. There was nothing interesting left to find, not even a pair of shoes and there wasn't enough power to restore it. I did, however, identify its source: wind turbines on the plateau above. Dusk was falling softly over Costa Rica. I had reached the mountain peak and wanted to see what lay on the other side. Not that I didn't like the place, but I still wished to be able to return to the United States... Well, what remained of it. I stood on the cliff's edge. The view was breathtaking, despite the fog from the height I sat at. Trees everywhere, huge rocks on the beach, but above all, the place that caught my eye, a lighthouse. If I had a way of getting back, that's where I'd go. Maybe I'd find a boat, or my own, lost in the ocean. Fatigue began to set in. Fortunately, there was a small camp with tents and pre-war canned goods. I was going to spend the night here, plus I had my own security detail with this brahmin grazing peacefully. Tomorrow I'd head back inland to this lighthouse. The following day, I walked down another side of the mountain. I came to a small crossroads with a few shops, where I saw the Ropa Americana store completely cleaned out. On the next building's roof, I heard a radio and a man complaining in Spanish. I needed some info and hoped to get it from him. I used the ladder to reach the roof. An old man was trying to adjust the telescope lens. He didn't even see me, otherwise he would have asked about my outfit, especially my lack of shoes. "Hola señor, perdone, ¿habla usted inglés?" "Hola viajera, no hablo inglés pero mi mujer sí. Tiene un rancho al otro lado del río. Busca una vieja señora con un vestido blanco." "¡Muy bien, muchas gracias por la ayuda y buena suerte!" I crossed the river and landed above the ranch. It looked like a farm with Brahmins grazing in a cloistered area. I wasn't surprised to see that there were still people who knew how to domesticate animals. From my vantage point, I tried to spot a woman in a white dress - that was my English speaker's description. I toured the ranch, looking for someone. It didn't take me long to find her. The old woman in the white dress was running the ranch, but stopped when she saw me approaching. We both smiled at each other, as if we were already family. "Hello, I've met your husband. You speak English, don't you?" "Indeed, my dear, indeed! Come on, let's talk somewhere else." END OF PART 2
