At the very least, news corporations should have to update stories after giving bulletins once they receive information which either completes, complements or conflicts with their previous reporting or face steep penalties for allowing faulty information to remain in the public consciousness as a result of their carelessness.

"Besides, as the vilest Writer has his Readers, so the greatest Liar has his Believers; and it often happens, that if a Lie be believ’d only for an Hour, it has done its Work, and there is no farther occasion for it. Falsehood flies, and the Truth comes limping after it; so that when Men come to be undeceiv’d, it is too late; the Jest is over, and the Tale has had its Effect…"

Tree of Logic's rants about her are pretty epic. Better than all the other youtube drama. I remember Candace from when she was an SJW. Tree is on the money about that.

I don't expect a lot of folks to be able to digest it very well because of her full honesty.

Yeah, and when you step out of hard party lines, people tend to get pissed.

I finally got around to logging back into Steam only to find that the store front is chock full of games formerly exclusive to other platforms, most surprisingly that includes The Sims 4 and Detroit: Become Human.

Is this a sign that the other platforms are proving less than self-sufficient, forcing the companies who own them to run to their chief competitor's store to make a profit or is it just pure pragmatism that prompts them to tolerate a small profit share with a rival to make much more money in the long run? It is most likely the latter but I have to wonder about what it means for the Videogames industry if it is the former.

It looks like Capitalism really is great for convincing people (Corporations are considered people now, right?)to put aside their petty differences to work together, after all.

Thinking of Capitalism, one of the things that turned me off of BLM when it was new was reading its website and hearing the drivel spewed out of the mouths of its founders which revealed the movement as a grave-standing gaggle of hucksters who don't care about black men at all, using their deaths to seek to harm the Black Community by making their biggest problems, the dissolution of the Nuclear Family and their ability to make an honest living in their communities, even worse, almost ensuring further run-ins with the police unless they are disbanded and replaced by their own Morality Police who will turn a blind eye to anything done to the lesser peoples.

The fact that a silly on-the-nose name was enough to get people to shut down their skepticism is fairly damning to the vaunted human capacity for reason.

Everyone going on about TLOU 2 reviews right now just need to STFU. "It's bots!" "It's haters!" "It's fanbois!"

Reviews outside of ones that can verify if someone has seen/played/used a product are inherently suspect. And when it comes to "professional" critics, their words aren't worth the electrons their transmitted on. In the end it isn't reviews that really matter to companies but sales. The final net tell the real story of whether something is a success or a failure, especially in the long run. Since it's too soon to tell what TLOU 2's net gains or losses are, all this nonsense is pure propaganda.

And no, @FauxFurry, corporations are not people. I think it's the latter because right now the video games industry is in real upheaval thanks to the loss of Chinese manufacturing, the lack of original titles coming out, and the sparsity of any sort of releases during a time when people are stuck at home with nothing to do. They're desperate to increase exposure of those titles that are out, no matter how old.

So Bethesda basically dropped 1mil to donate towards marxism. That basically labels Bethesda as marxist supporters. teehee!

This reminds me of the old saying to goes roughly like: "A Capitalist will sell you the noose used to hang him."

We thought evil was transparent, no, they assimilated... infected academia, entertainment, media, and even our branches of government. They create echo chambers that validate their evil, and when good men stand up, all that the people hear is "far-right protesters..."

Both sides will find that they have that in common assuming they stop to listen to themselves.

Also I'm really bored. Does this happen often to you guys?

Yep, especially when I see your avatar that tries to tell us bestiality is okay. Do I have to remind you that there are children on this site?

Really? I seem to recall a posting when I entered the site where I certified I was over 18. While I admit that a child might lie to the moderators and suggest that they are an adult when they are not, the entire basis of this site is that it is for adults (cf. rule #14 "As we are typically associated with being an adult pornographic community"). I come here in the knowledge, no, in the expectation, that I will be able to have an adult level conversation without childish giggling or phony judgementalism.

Made-from-scratch chicken and dumplings.

Before this whole covid thing hit I had planned to try making that according to what I remembered of my mother's old recipe. She made the best, big fat fluffy dumplings and the best chicken.

But the idiots can still see what YOU post.  Ideally blocking someone would make you invisible to them as well.

Shouldn't be a problem as long as you don't post something stupid. And on the internet of all places.
