Shouldn't be a problem as long as you don't post something stupid. And on the internet of all places.

The intelligence level of the post has nothing to do with the 'morally superior' authoritarians on this site who think's it their duty to correct anything they don't agree with.  And they go out of their way to do just that...because they have the emotional development of toddlers and they must be right at all times and GOD HELP you if you post something they don't like.  We all know it's true; we all know who they are.

Those darn authoritarians.

Both sides will find that they have that in common assuming they stop to listen to themselves.

Also I'm really bored. Does this happen often to you guys?

If you ever become bored enough, you can always take a trip down to the Capitol Hill Free Zone Autonomous Zone Occupied Protest. It looks like a real laugh riot mostly peaceful protest.

It is always important to have an outsider's perspective on certain matters (mostly because they have no bias towards any of the so-called sides in a given political conflict).

Direct personal experience and/or good record keeping is every bit as important as age and maturity in accurately examining recurring patterns in 'History' (which itself is largely just a form of bias confirmation). This is one of the reasons why a revival of the Fairness Doctrine (perhaps in a new Globalized form)would be immensely helpful to the world.

Mods. I'm trying to understand why someone would go to all the trouble to make new models for games and then slap some shitty textures on them that looks like a five year old made them. Did they just slack off towards the end to be done with it? I don't claim to be very good or knowledgeable when it comes to making textures, but, it surprises me how easy it is to improve some of them.

Some people are good at model work but have no skill at texture work or vice versa. At the very least, some of them will be up forward about it, occasionally asking for help from other people to provide their own re-texture sub-mods (see the NAVI armor for Fallout 4 for an example).

The choices for many modders is to either risk running out of free-time to release a mod (or running out of enthusiasm before it is done) to learn all of the skills and programs needed to bring a free mod up to professional grade or to release it as is, hoping to come back to it to finish it later or hoping that someone more skilled in a certain skill will do it for them on their free time.

I just resigned myself to learning without "help" since every time I've asked I got damn few responses.

Making decent textures is that hard? I don't see it. The skill needed to make them is nothing compared to making new models and rigging them for a game- the process is long, extremely detailed and any slight mistake might mean doing a lot over again. Not so with textures. Reminds me of Henry Ford's saying "You can have the model t in any color so long as it's black".

To be fair, he played the role of extreme fence sitter/radical moderate on that whole issue. It would be just as fair to listen to 'both sides' and to give their arguments equal weight (except not really) in this new accusation involving Joe.

Seems like quite a few vidya related people are getting raked over the coals on twitter.

Everyone who does not keep their heads down and go with the flow will be raked over the coals on Twitter. That ought to be part of the amended Rules of the Internet.

Twitter is a cesspool.  You play in a cesspool, you will eventually be devoured.  This should be apparent to folks who pay any attention.

Stupid games, stupid prizes.

Cesspool why does this remind me of Slumdog Millionaire? Oh yeah this scene:

There is also no statue of limitation with Twitter, or social media in general.

Did you post a seemingly innocent and mainstream joke in 2020? In 5 years it may will be considered irredeemably offensive and can now be used to cancel and destroy you.

Domino's Pizza found that out recently when they thanked a customer for feedback without knowing that she'd someday become involved in (the wrong)politics. How dare they not have psychics on staff to prevent that pre-thought crime?

But they don't. They either fail to realise or blank the last one and move right on to the next one.

That reference was to those that do due to response. Like the Karens that called on a black man for his telling her to put her dog on a leash, among others. Later realizing (too late) and getting fucked over due to their stupid actions.

Of course, and unfortunate, there are way more that don't realize their stupidity than those that do. (like you state correctly)

How can Domino's know if businesses aren't people? But now you're talking about it so the advertising worked.

For some reason, using your celebrity status to start a consensual extramarital relationship that lasts an entire year is now 'sexual misconduct'. By this standard every famous musician ever is gonna be put on trial for his life.
