Pretty damn ironic that the guy defending nVidia to the death unilaterally for the last ten years is about to have his signature mod frame work demolished by the very company he's been dickriding.

An upcoming TV series about a young girl, infected with vampirism and her father doing what he can to keep her safe.

 

Wondering if, after the series got the green light, someone at the studio thought, that dynamic sounds a bit too much like TLOU, especially since the girl is called Eleanor... Bit too close to Ellie... What other Copyright could we buy and tack on the name to stop Sony from suing us?

 

And so we have Let the right one, the TV series. Which sounds like all it has in common with the "source" material is the vampire is young and their name starts with an E.

 

That said, it sounds an interesting show, if nothing like the book (or either of the films)

You could throw Maggie in that thought since it's almost the same but with Zombies and a Movie.. And with Schwarzenegger who weirdly got better at acting after he got out of politics..  ?

 

Thinking about why Sim 4 Dudes put a dozen of porn pictures they downloaded in an Archive and call it a Mod.. Even the Name of the sites they got them from are still on them

I watched the Super Mario Bros trailer and well it looks silly but what did you expect from an Italian plumber in the land of mushrooms? I was hoping Chris Pratt would be less Chris Pratt and be more Mario. The only way to make it more out of character is to have Keanu Reeves do his Ted impression in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. Then again that might just fit a mushroom munching plumber.

 

But definitely not Jim Carrey. No Jim you can't make funny faces at the screen. That is not how it works.

Looking at the synopsis, it does.

I'd never even heard of that movie until Gukahn mentioned it... I looked it up expecting it to be new... 2015!?! How that passed me by I have no idea.

Managed to trap the last unfixed female barn cat I have.  Her ass is going to vet Monday and if she's clean (no FIP or Leukemia) I'll have her yanked and be done with all the tom-cat fighting and howling.  Thank God for that.

what is louder?   cats fucking or cats fighting?  I love cats plenty, feral cats fucking and fighting sucks big league!

 

I think the FIP is what we just fought with a kitten we had brought home, what we dealt with was mutated kitty covid, think it was FIP. Whatever it was there was no accepted treatment for it but we found an outlet for a non approved treatment and a bunch of dollars later we did save that pussy!  It kinda sucked, I knew the cat was fucked up like asap, everybody else was like "no its just kitten" like i had never been around kittens before?

The perfect bluff is one that you know none will dare call you on because the stakes are too high. :classic_wink:

 

But it also sets a dangerous precedent in that because of it's almost guaranteed success, it will be used again and again until someone actually is crazy enough to call the bluff.
