It has been 4 years since the game release. multiple sales to get DLC's really cheap, I'm glad it's supporting all DLC's, it's much simpler this way, also no compatibility issues with said DLC's.

People these days complain about even fucking crying cat lol

Sorry if this has been answered already (didn't find it with a search);

 

Is anyone able to romance ADA or Codsworth via MCG Dialogs?

 

Playing as Male Player: I'm having issues "romancing" ADA and Codsworth via MCG Dialog. Both are available and animate in AAF using Home key. When I hit them with the active MCG Key I get 2 options (Nevermind and fix my reputation). I'm playing with Servitron mod but vanilla Cods and ADA don't give romance options either. The new cheat to maximize relationship allows me to marry\lover them and then I can initiate sex but both take on a male role regardless of position selected (i.e. Male-Like vs Female-Like). Using RobotsHaveGenders: ADA is flagged female and "sexchange" doesn't effect this behavior for either. With RHG they will animate MF + MM animations (though always male) without RHG there is no difference apart from the Icon in AAF (always male).

 

 Separately I D\L'd a standalone Mr Handy Companion Mod (ARCHE and B0B) and ARCHE can be "servitroned" and romanced through regular MCG Dialog (however still assumes male position no matter which position I select).

 

 

I've removed everything AAF related except AAF Core, MCG and Animation packs. No XMLs no Themes. Also tried removing RobotsHaveGenders but that just made AAF see them as Males only.

 

If this is normal; How do I add them to romanc-able actors and force female roles or atleast get them to respect the "Male-like" + "Female-Like" animation settings in MCG?

Do you have the Servitron AAF patch?  It sounds like you aren't setting them as female as well.  From the Servitron file itself....

Using Servitrons with AAF:
Use the misc file "Servitron - XML files for AAF" to add support for Servitrons into AAF.
NOTE: If you want AAF to treat particular servitron as a female, you need to use the SexChange console command (use GetIsSex female/male to check what the current sex is).

Just wanted to say thank you for the great mod.  It really does bring the Commonwealth to life.  No longer am I stuck being the only talker or conversation starter.  Just wish I had decided to try your XML setup before you pulled it.  I had finally gotten around to starting a new game (don't use Scrap Zapper in The Castle) and was ready to clean my mods when I seen the post about people not only disrespecting you but not helping with getting it to work either.  Personally I say it is their loss.

hello, first of all thank you for this great mod I'm just disappointed that I can not adjust automatic wrappings of npc vs npc, if someone has the same problem and can give me a tip I appreciate it !!!

- Yeah. I'm pretty sure without the Servitron patch they dont even show up in AAF? Regardless. Yes I'm using the Servitron AAF "patch". I even modified the XMLs per the "unofficial" response to the latest "AAF doesn't recognize Servitrons" bug report. They work fine with AAF using Home key and manually setting up the scene.

- MCG Dialog (specifically the "Do you have a moment") doesn't recognize them regardless of whether or not they are servitrons or Vanilla Cods and ADA (other miscellaneous bots will use MCG Dialog e.g. ArchE standalone mod; can be servitron'd and initiated via MCG Dialog but assumes male role (getissex female is 1 makes no difference. Selecting Male-Like or Female-Like acts also makes no difference).

- And "Sexchange" doesn't change their behavior. RobotsHaveGenders will actually pre-flag "female" bots as female but regardless: "sexchange" + "getissex female" equals 1 or 0; makes no difference to MCG. They all assume male role.

 

If I spawn in a plain vanilla version of either it doesn't work even after uninstalling Servitron. Likewise if I spawn Curie or ADA in with the RefID ("FF") then they are not available as actual companions but CAN initiate MCG dialog ("Do you have a moment"). Ada still assumes male role even as "getissex female" 1 like this though.

 

I assume you can initiate "Do you have a moment?" with ADA\Codsworth using MCG Dialog?

I am not seeing many posts about the approachers sprinting by my character and giving a negative response for a broken conversation so I am assuming this is something in my set up, has anyone figured out a cure? Otherwise this mod is working great, lots of fun.

Hi, i love this mod, made me delete like 8 mods that did only a small part each one, MCG covers everything and is better than the others thanks.

On a side note, is there some way to make the DO IT option (when you are choosing a furniture to have sex) to appear on moded beds? for example im using the mod called Clean beds and the DO IT option when following for sex does not appear, however if i use the nearest furniture option it would let me use beds from clean beds but i prefer having more control.

If someone can point me to the direction to do it myself i will be happy to do it and share.

Some beds work some don't.  Unless it is a bed that you have AAF position data for, like the lady killer which is linked to Atomic lust during the FOMOD, the vanilla beds work.  Beds that have been altered by build mods, such as workshop rearranged, don't.  When you build a bed, make sure it is a vanilla bed without the (M) or the Lady Killer.

 

Work in most cases.  The beds at Finch Farm work fine.  Only 2 beds at Abernathy works and it isn't with Lucy and her bed.  Don't know why, but I will get a no animation play.  Connie and Mr. Abernathy's beds work fine with those 2.

 

And they have to be big enough for cuddling... the military cost, sleeping bags, etc. don't count.

 

Except for Lucy and her bed, I have not had a failure.

The MCG Dialogue that starts with"hey do you have a moment?" is not available for Vanilla companions, including ADA and Codsworth because they use the vanilla "Affinity level system" and because of this adding to the them the "MCG Relationship Level system" would create conflicts and redundant situations. To Romance a vanilla companion you need to follow the vanilla rules but in addition for those companions that cannot be romanced in vanilla you can set them as romanced using the "set as romanced" button in the companion submenu once their vanilla affinity is 1000 or higher. You need the MCM experimental option "Companion Affinity Handling" enabled for this.

About the Servitrons assuming always the male position that is because normally in vanilla game only humans and non feral ghouls have a female sex while everything else is considered a male, i.e. even vanilla assaultron are considered males. To risolve this issue you should edit the servitron race in FO4edit and add the "ActorTypeHuman" keyword to it.

Hi, no your set up is working good and that was indeed an MCG issue in the version 2.11.0, thanks to Martin56 it should be fixed in version 2.11.02. Do you have that problem with that version too? 

As a reminder: when you update to version 2.11.02 make sure you stop and restart the NPC Initiative system and the MCG Respawn system if you use them. (use the relative buttons in the MCG Options Hotkey menu)

 

Edit: I just updated the mod to version 2.11.04 , the same things I sand for 2.11.02 should apply for your case, let me know.

MrCruelJohn nailed it, basically you can activate many beds for MCG cuddles but only the ones you have explicited in your AAF XMLs files will produce the actual animation. The standard Atomic Lust furniture data xml (that most people use) explicit only 2 beds for cuddles, and they are the double wooden beds like those in Finch Farm, but in the MCG Unlocked social animations XMLs that you can download I explicited all the beds that you can activate with MCG for cuddles...do you have that file installed?

No, because I continue to read that mods which change XML's do not play well with One Patch and One Patch Fix...

Hi you can indeed!

I made formIDlists that can be edited in FO4edit to add what you want, unfortunately I didn't have time to update the mod guide (which is largely not up to date) to explain what you can modify, let me make a brief list of the most useful: (xx is you MCG load order)

  • AnghelosSexFurnitureList  [FLST:xx084EBB] : You can add here the furnitures you can have sex upon, by doing so they will be available to have the "DO IT" activation option, note though that it is imperative that the furniture you add in this list is also explicited in some AAF XML furniture data file, i.e. the animation packs you have must have animations for those modedd furnitures, or you must add them manually in those XMLs files.
  • AnghelosCuddleBeds  [FLST:xx22BDB9]: You can add here the beds that can have the "Cuddle" activation option, the same XMLs conditions as the anghelosSexFurnitureList are applied, this means that in this case you must have xmls that explicit those beds too.
  • anghelosNudeBodiesCompatibility [FLST:xx2747B1]: You can add here modded skins that should be considered naked for MCG "Naked Harassment" condition to be true for the NPC Initiative approach system calculations, i.e. if you have a mod like "player Unique Body" you should add here that mod Unique naked skin or your character will never be recognized as naked.

You misread. Because I explicitly said in the mod installation paragraph that the Unlocked social anims file doesn't change other mods XMLs and can be used safely with any other mods. You are getting confused with the now retired file "(XML)_MCG_Unlocked_Pack_v0.1_Beta" which is no more available for downloading because of the community lack of support and hostility.

Did you activate this option. Not by setting it up in MCM, but creating console keys to turn these options on, NPC APPROACH, NPC VS NPC, DEFEATED OPTIONS?

 

Once into the game remember that MCG when loaded the first time starts completely disabled, and you must activate it using the "START THE MOD" button in the MCM front page of the mod. Also the "Respawn system", "NPC-NPC random sex system" and the "Npc Initiative (approach) system"  need to be manually enabled, each of them in the MCG Option hotkey menu after you start the mod, if you want to use them:

Did you started the npc random sex system using the appropriate button?

You must long press the MCG Options hotkey (while you are not pointing to any actor otherwise this will act as a "push away") and you will see a pop up menu, scroll down to the bottom and you will see the button to activate the random sex system, among others.

Ok thanks, I havent had a chance to play since 2.11.0, I will give it a go tonight. I appreciate your efforts on this mod, thanks for sharing.

Uma vez no jogo, lembre-se de que o MCG, quando carregado pela primeira vez, começa completamente desativado, e você deve ativá-lo usando o botão " START THE MOD " na página inicial do mod do MCM. Além disso, o "sistema Respawn", o "sistema de sexo aleatório NPC-NPC" e o "sistema Npc Initiative (abordagem)" precisam ser ativados manualmente, cada um deles no menu de teclas de atalho MCG Option depois de iniciar o mod, se desejar usa-os:
