REMINDER TO ALL, from an updated INCOMPATIBILE MODS LIST:

 

[LARGE OVERLAPPING FEATURES]

  • Sex Attributes - Framework: this mod have features that largely are overlapping MCG statistics and systems, if you use it make sure you disable in one of the two mod the duplicate features. For example you must choose if you want to use MCG wear and tear system or Sex Attributes wear and tear system etc. Note that this is not an hard incompatibility but it would be very weird to have two similar systems that run in parallel without communicating with each other and having different and/or comulative effects on top of each other, so choose what you prefer.

 

[RESPAWN SYSTEM]

Combat Strip Lite: This mod cannot be used alongside MCG Respawn system because it creates irresolubile conflicts. If you use it with MCG make sure you disable the MCG Respawn system; 

 

[NPC INITIATIVE SYSTEM]

  • Sexual Harassment: this mod has been recently updated with an npc approach system on the player, similar to MCG Initiative syste. Make sure you disable MCG Initiative system if you use this mod.
  • Player Head Tracking: this mod is not compatible with the MCG Npc Initiative System, because it will force all the npc greetings to the player to abort theirself, so you will always see them say to the PC: "I see you're busy..."

So i heard we can manually blacklist npcs, but i had no luck finding how to.
I suppose the main MCG hotkey must be used on the desired npc and blacklist in tools options? i dont seem to find any blacklist option there...

Yes use the main MCG hotkey on an npc, then you will see yhe "tool options" submenu, and there you should find the buttons to blacklist them from approaches and /or random sex.

First make sure you have the relative system you want to blackilst this actor from enabled, for example if you want to blacklist him from the random sex make sure that the random sex system is enabled! You will find the buttons to enable them at the bottom of the MCG Options hotley menu (long press it while you are not pointing an actor otherwise it will push the actor instead). 

 

If you have them already enabled then it's probably a problem in your setup that we will need to investigate.

Im trying to blacklist him from aproaching my character. Hes a companion but its like a secondary companion so the "allow followers" option doesnt work on him, thats why i wanted to blacklist him. 



Edit: How does the allow followers option work btw? usually those things check for keywords right? if thats the case, i could just add the needed keyword to the Father's plugin myself using fo4edit, so it blocks him too.

Do you have the random sex system enabled too? I am starting to think it could be a mispelled conditional function.

 

Edit: about the follower blacklist I don't remember exactly usually Anghelos checks for the keyword DO_teammate_readyweapon or something like that (it's the vanilla keyword that make your follower draw their weapon when the player does) or if they are currently in the CurrentCompanionFaction.

Btw did you tried on a different, vanilla NPC? Just to see if you have the problem for all npcs or if only for father.

No need thanks, please could you try to temporaly enable the random sex system and check if you can blacklist at that point also for the initiative system? Make sure you have the allow blacklisting toggle enabled in MCM in the random sex system page, it could be possible that Anghelos used the same condition for both system as a mistake

You're awesome. Adding ActorTypeHuman didn't appear to fix it on it's own. However adding both ActorTypeHuman and ActorTypeNPC to the Servitron race appears to allow player to choose "Male-Like" or "Female-Like" Animations and both work properly now.

A mod called Player Head Tracking is conflicting with your mod. For a while now I have been having problems getting M.C.G. dialogues started. NPCs would just walk up and say "I see you are busy" and then leave. So I decided to do some debugging and I turned off the head tracking in that mods MCM, every NPC approach since then has worked perfectly.

Hi, I just found that the button to blacklist from the approach system was not working as intended at all, not only it is displayed only with the random sex enabled but it also doesn't blacklist properly xD, it will be fixed in the next version :P sorry for the inconvenience!

 

Edit: it should be fixed in 2.11.06!

I hadn't realized that would be problem! I use the DLC followers version of the unique player, so I downloaded your patch to see how that works and made a version for the ESP UniqueFemalePlayerAndFollowersDLC.esp (attached here). I think if you renumber your FSLT (now xx2747b1) to fit inside the ESL space (between 800 and FFF), then your patch and those people make for themselves could be ESL or ESL flagged ESPs, which could be nice for a single record plugin. BUT I'm no ESL expert so that might be all kinds of wrong. Personally I just pulled that FLST as an override into my personal merge-patch.

Edit: @maddadicusrex You probably already know this, I am writing this just as a reminder for you buddy: the patch that is included now in the download section (" (Required Patch)MCG-Unique Player-Patch.rar" ) is just the same patch that was sent to you in the support topic some time ago so you may want to use this new and discard the old or still stick to the old, they are exactly the same.

Oough... now thanks for that. Didn't check this mod for quite some time. This mean I know the reason for inconsistent "you're busy" stuff. Also meaning that it's probably not my cup of tea (no offense, I'm just already not used to looking at the main character being almost a statue)

 

Where do I get UniqueFemalePlayer.esp? (the thing on Nexus has a standard esp name)? Or is it just an F2 matter? Is it in the comments above or is there a standard way to get it? Wanted to test if it solves now the inconsistencies I have with approach system events triggering.

Are you using Unique Player? If so, get the patch. Works at unlocking MCG for you..

About the you're busy stuff did you had the "Player Head Tracking" mod? Because that has been reported as a major cause of the Initiative system aborting, but it is also normal outcome if the player is currently involved in another dialogue or if the PC is technically considered busy by Creation Kit scene standards.

 

What is you current MCG version? So do you use an Unique Player mod? If so can you tell me what mod exactly, because the patch has been built for this mod in particular:

but in FO4Edit it can be patched for any other Unique Player mods

Latest one (which was just rolled out on the main page). Unique player - aha, I don't use the one you mentioned. It causes issues with the CBP on companions / makes it hard to use custom companions mods like the Hancock one. I use player-only version: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3718

Yes, I do. I mean, this is the one immersion mod that really hard to give up on. So far none of other dialogue-based LL mods has issues with it ? Maybe add an MCM option to remove check for being busy? With the remark "use on your own risk" of course.

 

Also, question - will the changed timescale affect the events triggering? I do sometimes alter the timescale and I want to be sure it doesn't mess up things for this mod then (nothing extreme like 0.01 scale, usually between 5 and 20)

I use the UP and Followers, because it supports Fusion Girl and CBBE. My CBP works fine including followers. I do not use the CBP Config mod. I also do not use the UP mod for my followers. Might be the reason I do not have issues..

For the unique player mod you use I can make you a patch soon, but for the Player Head Tracking mod I feel it would be more difficult to do so because all the checks I built for the NPC Initiative system have been made because they were needed, each one of them, to avoid potential weird situations in gameplay. 

If I may I would suggest you a new mod that have been recently updated, Sexual Harassament. It seems it could do similar things to the MCG Initiative system, maybe you could find it more adaptable to your load order!

Yeah, I was playing with CBP config file for physics back in the days when it was first released. Didn't progress much in fixing the issue. Also didn't try it with fusion. Maybe I will sometime revisit the thing. Unique followers would still mess up the followers customization mods though I guess.

Yes, I use this mod for some other things, approaches aren't that important for me. It was a matter of just getting to the bottom of it. But at least I know that if I want it to work, I'd need to have headtracking disabled.

As for harassment mod - I think I'd wait and see if the attributes mod gets updated. I remember someone (may be even you) mentioned in this thread that attributes is quite an outdated mod and it is indeed so. Some of the stuff it does isn't what I want (like changing the vanilla persuasion/intimidate with no ways to configure that).
