Or it is the OS.

It could be the OS. I'm a Windows 10 user, so... though I haven't had any issues up til this point.

Im confused, I get the message to start a mcg dialogue with and NPC, but when the normal game interaction ends for say a quest when i press the hotkey with thew cross hairs over them it just tells me they are going to follow me........what am i missing?

You have 2 keybinds in MCG, use the other key.

This helped, thanks.

 

Still getting the odd crashes though. This time I got a message saying something along the lines of "the default Wattman setting have been restored due to an unexpected error", something that has never happened up until this point (not blaming it on the mod, I'm just saying that it's something that has been happening recently).

Never saw that phrase, probably that "Wattman" is from another mod, if you find it that could be a good starting point to resolve the issue, maybe disabling that mod

 

Edit: i am stupid ? wattman is an AMD program... At this point i don't know what is cauising you that crash, i can say that in previous versions of MCG i had sometime a crash on mod starting but since last version i had no crash issues

Yes it is, the last time I saw anyone else reporting that issue with Fallout 4 was back in 2017 and it turned out to be Wattman its self. I tried playing Skyrim LE last night to see if that would crash but no, no crashes.

Is this one, and this one alone, installed all the requirements, tested the game with all requierements on but this mod active, as soon as i activate this one and go to my inventory, game crashes

I think I FINALLY managed to get the crashing to stop.. it was Wattman. Reverting back to an older driver version (the last one released in 2018) seemed to fix my issue, I also tweaked some other things based off of some of the posts I saw on the issue though so not sure if that helped as well.

 

I thought it might be the PSU at first (since it's pushing 7 years in age) but I'm glad that wasn't the case.

Okay, so I need some help figuring out why this mod (or possibly AAF as a whole) is conflicting with my mod list.  A little back ground first on how I narrowed this down to what I believe is the culprit, VIS-G.

 

I had a stable and working load order with this mod and it's requirements installed.  Everything was running smoothly and I decided to add in VIS-G and give it a try as I already had DEF_UI and Hud Framework running.   As soon as I installed VIS-G I started getting CTD within 3 to 10 minutes of loading into the game world.   No warning, no errors, just the game shutting itself down.  I thought, maybe I had something with VIS-G installed wrong.  Missing patches for armors and weapons I was using maybe causing the issue.   I have TheKite's excellent armor mods installed and I haven't found a VIS-G patch for them yet.

 

Stubborn as I am, I decided to try and get some help and went looking for how to create my own VIS-G patches.   What I found instead was a load order on Nexus that included VIS-G and several other visual and audio tweaks merged into single mods.  I went, hey, that sounds great!  I can get it down loaded and rolling and stable and THEN add in the AAF/M.C.G. stuff and everything will be good, because VIS-G will be working.  So I followed the instructions (haven't done his texture mod thingy yet as the download was 2.6 hours for his stuff and it took me about 40 to 50 minutes to move the FO4 texture BSA's the first time for their back up versions) and got a stable, beautifully running, 55 FPS game in High settings.  Don't laugh, I'm running the game on a GTX 1050-Ti.  I can do ultra but it costs me about 10 to 15 FPS at the moment.  Or at least it did prior to his tweaks.   Haven't gone back to try it on Ultra again.

 

Then I installed AAF/M.C.G. and sure enough, 5 minutes in, CTD.

 

At this point, I have to assume the conflict is between VIS-G and AAF/M.C.G.  I've no freaking clue how that can be, though.   One is purely animations, the other is item sorting/tags, which DEF_UI can do with its own basic version of the same thing VIS-G does.  Below is my current load order WITHOUT the AAF/MCG stuff added in.  If anyone can confirm it is VIS-G causing the issues and possibly how to fix it, wonderful.  If it's not VIS-G, then what in the devil is it?  Please help me, I really, really want to us MCG.

Its vis-g.  Not good with aaf. patches wont help.  Use valdicils.

I had almost the same problem. For me my game crashed in 9 out of 10 cases when i opened the skill tree, i first thought it would be related to MCG since it started after i installed it. So i rolled back to a save where i didn't have it installed but left all other requirements installed. Back in game, it still crashed even though it was a save with zero footprint of MCG, so i figured it must be one of it's requirements. Long story short, i've disabled those who i thought might be outdated (Crazy Animations, Four-Play Animations by Crazy, AAF patches for Leito and Crazy and AAF XMLs Extended) and since then it hasn't crashed once. I doubt the problem roots in AAF XMLs Extended so it's probably save to re-enable it but so far it looks like one of the other mods is the culprit.

 

One more small note, if i'm not mistaken you only need the Gun version of Crazy Animations.

Hi all,

 

I am not sure if someone read that and tries to help, but hope dies last.

 

I have MCG, newest Version, include XML-files to unlock the Gender spezific Animations (because MO2 cant install the XML-files, I dropped the Files into AAF - AAF-Folder manually) I also have all the Animations installed and updated the Patches . I just have The Basic AND the KInky Theme for AAf installed. I use the BodyTalk V2 Body.

 

Normally it works fine. But when it comes to Sex (I only play MM) there is just ONE Animation and always the same. For the Oral it only plays the Atomic 69 (gay) Animation. For Ground it only plays the Atomic Cowboy Animation. I cant choose via AAF-Wizard other Animations during the MCG-Scene. When I just use AAF and its Wizard, it shows all Animations for the specific place I choose.

 

So I think Thats a problem with MCG. I dont want to deinstall this MOd, because its really nice for RP, but when I only have one Animation after some MCG-Related Events, I dont think I use MCG any longer.

 

If someone had the same issue, and fixed that, I would be very happy if you can help me to fix it too.

Did you add the Extended xmls from page one reference?  It also has a patch for MCG. Just select all the choices with mm, mmm, etc. The first m references Male as actor 0, typically the receiver.  

 

Also look up A.J. extra xmls.

edit1: is it normal to have lag in starting the animations? The npc approaches, say his piece, then goes minding his/her own business, and the animation starts like 30-40 seconds later

EDIT2: also, it now occurs to me, that AAF seems to think that my character is naked whenever she is wearing clothes (even if i wear a chesst armor as well)

How to trigger Dangerous Nights? Is it an attack during sleep ? Any requirements?
DN in Skyrim was IIRC with option to be abducted during sleep, even by a companion.

Nah, you still have plenty with FO4 AnimationsByLeito, 50Shades, Atomic Lust, SavageCabbages Animation Pack, "BadEnd" and so forth.

Did some further testing and it seems that a crash will happen if you open up the skill tab or collect a magazine when there is NPC sex (solo or non-solo) about to happen. I haven't been able to narrow down what is causing it, if it is MCG itself or another mod. My modlist is a bit different to yours (at least from what i see in the screenshot), except for MCG & SimSettlements and their respective dependencies, i also use Horizon, Conqueror and RSE CSA so there is a lot that can mess up things for me, so keep that in mind that my problems don't have to be yours. On .esp level everything looks fine and nothing really conflicts in a way that would provoke a crash but there is also the script side which i can't "debug" since i don't know shit about it. 

 

So to keep a long story short, keep an eye out for whenever a sex scene will happen between NPCs or if someone needs to relief some stress and do a save before opening up your pip-boy or picking up a magazine just to be safe in case it crashes. Alternatively you can disable the NPC-NPC interaction and use RSE Random Shenanigans (Haven't tested if it will work).

 

@anghelos92 If you need any more info from me, feel free to let me know. Since i know what triggers the crash for me i'm fine with dancing my way around it and with my limited understanding it seems that the problem doesn't directly come from MCG.

I have started having the same issue, but it's not just this.

 

I am using the latest versions of MCG and all dependencies, from the base game through F4SE and MCM. I have all the themes etc installed. Everything was working great until all of a sudden, when initiating activity through the MCG hotkey (e.g. soliciting a quest reward), I get as far as selecting "Do it now!" and then nothing happens. The NPC just stands there and eventually walks away. THEN when I try and use the hotkey on another NPC (or even the same one), I get the message saying they are in an AAF animation and that I can't interact with them, even though when opening AAF the NPC is still available for AAF animations--though neither my player nor the NPC I had tried to get a quest reward from are (presumably because we are supposed to be in an MCG interaction, which as noted refuses to fire).

 

This issue persists even when rolling back to a much earlier save, and even after disabling the small number of (workshop-related-only) mods I'd installed since the last time I'd successfully called an animation with MCG . I've tried reinstalling both MCG and AAF, but that hasn't changed anything. Also tried "Restarting" MCG, but that too failed to correct the problem. And finally, further testing has revealed this doesn't just affect quest reward activity -- any attempt to call an animation using MCG Dialogues just no longer works, regardless of scenario.

 

My brain is now truly pickled since, as I said, everything was perfectly fine until now.

@anghelos92 Can you check for "Vioxsis_Strap-Ons.esp" instead of "VIO_Strap-On.esp" please? Vioxsis told me her mod is not indented for end-users but a modders resource. I have her permission and included her mod plus necessary fixes in my AIO patch. To differentiate between "her mod" and "my mod" I renamed the esp.
