Science is hard which is why it has required generations of trial and error to get this far. Far enough to do away with small pox at least. I'd like to think we have done away with snake oil salesman and shady elixirs but the truth of the matter is there are just as many bad sources of information as there are good. That means you have to look for the right doctor and the right sources of information and that means you need to (gasp) talk to people.
