Heaven forfend that we talk about anything in an adult way on a supposedly adult site. Perish the thought that some one may have to leave their comfort zone or learn something.

Ask yourself what will happen to websites like this if these right-wing, Abrahamic morons get their way.

If you think about it - and I get this was meant to be something of a threat more than anything - if vampires consume all, what will they have left for subsistence...?

But then again, I guess it's possible the idea was farming humans and stuff...

Never watched True Blood either anyway.

It's a good series, and what The Right view as "woke" nowadays was present back when they made the series back 12yrs ago. So all their screaming now about "wokeness" now is just smoke. Just like those old farts who thought government is in a physical building when everything is online. It is like trying to kill Skynet, where Skynet was the entire internet and not just some computer core in a building somewhere.

As for Russell himself (in that clip), he just doesn't think vampires and humans should co-exist as equals, that the humans should be subservient to vampire. Vampire politics is pretty heavy in the series with allusion to what was going on in the country now as then. Funny, how nothing has changed one iota since. This is why we need fresh younger more energized people in government.

You haven't posted anything remotely adult since you joined. On your best day you were an autocratic child with delusions of adequacy and a humor and grammatical lexicon literally fifty years out of date.

Evidence? I know evidence and examples aren't exactly your forte but 'hope lives eternal' and all that.

That would be 'an autocratic child' if such a thing were possible.

That would make it 1972. Can you point out what makes the humour and lexicon of 1972 so distinct or different that you can spot it from years away?

Do you mean 'grammatical' and 'lexical' or 'grammar' and 'lexicon'?

Still waiting for yours answers to the questions from 7 days ago.

Politics are banned because people do not talk like adults about it. It has been moralized to hell and back, modern political discourse has degenerated into 'my team good, your team bad'. There's no common ground to be had if you believe the other side is either moronic / uneducated or just malevolent to its core. This isn't the late 19th / early 20th century where people would gather on the town square and discuss politics in a civilized manner because you could see where the other person comes from. The goal is always the same, i.e. making a better society but people often have vastly different perspectives on how to achieve that. Back then this was understood by most, nowadays it's only about good vs. evil. Once could argue that politics have replaced religion in many cases.

See, that's the issue. Left good, right evil. Despite the fact that there's a push to ban anything one doesn't like on both ends. Patreon for example banned anything related to rape and bestiality and unless we've switched time lines recently, tech companies are anything but right-wing. So you could also easily imagine what would happen to LL if those people got what they wanted. That's not to say you're wrong, since there's also a lot of people on the right that want to enforce their opinions on everyone else, but the picture you want to paint is dangerously incomplete.

I never mentioned the words 'left' or 'evil'. I, being an intelligent adult, am fully capable of seeing the inadequacies, imperfections and problems with 'the left'. I never use the word 'evil' in any context other than philosophy or theology. Only the Abrahamic religions use the word in the way you mean.

Complex issues are seldom as simple as us or them, left or right, etc. Were you 'Team Amber' or 'Team Johnny'? I was more 'Team Oh look, two sad, unimportant people fighting over money when they both have more than they need'.

You have absolutely no idea of the picture I want to paint or if there is a picture I want to paint. Either way it would be slighter deeper than one which relied on using Patreon as an example.
