Grey Cloud Posted June 30, 2022 Posted June 30, 2022 (edited) Lauren Bonehead wanting to make the USA a theocracy. ☹️ Strong "tell me you have never read the constitution without telling me you haven't read the constitution" vibes here. DoctaSax Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 The cat has cat AIDS. Didn't even know that was a thing. I knew she wasn't well, expected bad news, but... what the actual fuck.
DrunkenCow Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 If vaginas are to be classified as AK-47s then: Women need to pay the government a yearly fee to wear clothes. Women are no longer allowed to vote in person. Women that are too short need to pay a $200 fee to the federal government. Women have to pay a $200 fee to the federal government to use their inside voice. Women born after 1986 that have twins or triplets need a specific license to do so. Women are no longer allowed inside government buildings. Immigrant women need to have all but 10 internal organs replaced to get a green card. Jane Fonda, accidently a misogynist. 2

Also wait, I'm kind of dumb so I don't know anything about that hence my asking: Animals have their own versions of our illnesses or is it the same? ? And if so, is it transmissible to humans and vice-versa? ? 3 hours ago, DrunkenCow said: If vaginas are to be classified as AK-47s then: Women need to pay the government a yearly fee to wear clothes. It's colloquially called cat AIDS because it's an auto-immune disease with much the same outcome, ie dying from something their immune system could otherwise take care of. Difference is they get it mostly from fighting rather than anything else. 1

Old enough that "she's getting old" becomes an acceptable response when you point out she's not alright, but hey, that's not a diagnosis. Either way, if she gets over her current fever she could have some years left if we keep her indoors. 3

gagemage Posted July 3, 2022 Posted July 3, 2022 some diseases can be transmitted from animal to human and vice versa. FIV/feline AIDS is not one of them, and on the front of COVID the risk of animals spreading it to humans is actually very low; you're more likely to give your pet COVID than any animal is to give it to you, including bats. some animal-borne illnesses are only transferred through ingestion of an infected animal or touching dead animals, but some diseases can definitely be spread to humans through live animal contact! there are also illnesses like toxoplasmosis which can be transmitted through frequent handling of cat feces. on the "what's on my mind" front, i'm very eager to receive my recent orders of bones. i've got a new bobcat vertebra and a few skulls on the way, as well as some taxidermy feet and paws. rebuilding my collection has been fun, and surprisingly cheap as i choose to buy imperfect pieces most of the time, and scavenge bones when i find them. i want to go to the lake to scavenge soon. tips for any who are interested in scavenging in the US: if you find feathers or bird parts that you aren't sure what they belong to, leave them alone! a majority of birds in the US are protected under the migratory bird treaty act (MBTA) and it's illegal to possess any parts of those birds, including corvids (crows, ravens, magpies, etc), larks, sparrows, warblers, tits, bluebirds, blackbirds, jays, hawks, and pretty much any bird that isn't a rock pigeon/farm animal. people won't come into your house looking for feathers or bird skulls/feet/bones, but if they find them and they identify them as parts of a protected species, you can get a pretty significant fine. and if you find anything that you believe belongs to an eagle... you do NOT want to mess with that. you can get jail time for possessing eagle feathers, and if you own anything like eagle bones, beaks, or skulls... you're screwed lol. that's a major wildlife crime. 1

Possessing rare birds is a crime huh? Thankfully I only possess human parts lol. I have a coworker who collects the skins of local road kill and hangs it up on his wall. It makes me want to make abominations using animal bones like I did in middle school.
Kabal460 Posted July 3, 2022 Posted July 3, 2022 Explain that to Jupiter. I'm sure a human breathed in his face.
Kendo 2 Posted July 3, 2022 Posted July 3, 2022 4th of July BBQ tomorrow at Lake Somerville. A friend of mine from my power plant days invited me and the GF. Water skiing, girls in bikinis water skiing, etc. He has enough chukar prepped and brining for 100 people. All he asked me for was the Southern Comfort peach and chipotle bbq sauce I make. so I made 12 quarts. There will also be professional fireworks, a C&W band from Austin, kegs, a Tiki bar...and I have a bungalow rented so we can sleep it all off. And I'm off work Tuesday. 1

Per usual you haven't the faintest. There are three completely different diseases with similar symptomology, hence the D instead of V. Yet for what the ninth time you haven't the fainest and your one click half assed "research"actually achieves the effect of making you look as versed as you actually are, which is not at all; though I have to say the one where you didn't know America had differing state laws and the combined tirade of how the west subverted yoga for political gain when the actual practitioners of said yoga say literal otherwise whilst actually now living in America by their own words is still by far your crowning achievement in the dumbfuckery department.
