I remember saying that businesses wave flags around to promote their business but I'm starting to think that they just like rainbows. One business owner I listened to said they didn't have a black lives matter flag simply because anybody knows him would know he(note a white guy) agrees that black lives matter. Of course nowadays the new LGBTQ+ flags also include the black lives color to include the black LGBTQ+. On one hand it feels like the new colors make the message less clear but on the other it doesn't look like just a rainbow anymore. I have now idea how the people with Iridophobia are handling it.

It sounds pointless and may actually be harmful. Yet many people want to be called either of those despite how we gain nothing from it.

Well, recently it made national headlines that 5 players from a baseball team didn't want to wear the pride pin for religious reasons. And that's quite frankly somewhat irritating because you shouldn't need a reason to not support anything and that's not to mention that any reason you might give is also not enough of a reason to support 'the right thing'. Remember, tolerance isn't about celebrating or actively supporting anything, it's just a 'you do you as long as nobody gets hurt and everything is consensual' kinda thing. Bullying people into caring about something they do not want to care about on the other hand is not a smart thing to do and has nothing to do with tolerance. 2

Ye gods people, what happened on the 6th of January was the worst thing to happen to your country since 1861 and yet the vast majority of you can't be arsed to spend two hours getting information about it straight from the horse's mouth. Random people pooping on Pelosi's desk, while understandably humorous, is hardly an attack on the country especially if all the minority owned businesses that burned to the ground in the eight months prior was for racial equality. 1

It was an attack on the fundamental democratic principles on which the USA is built, carried out by supporters of one of the two major political parties, instigated and orchestrated by senior members of that party up to and including the incumbent president. None of your examples resulted in deaths. It has absolutely fuck-all to do with the amount of physical damage caused.
