This year Halloween is extra spooky. What with people being scared of diseases that kill you and those with maskaphobia. But I'm not here to talk about that.

 

The question on my mind is this. Do traumatic experiences make you stronger?

It was a doe... at least you wouldn't get impaled. I'd've attempted to take down the doe if it attacked my dog like that too, just like I'd've attempted to stop the kangaroo.

 

I honestly don't know how that dog survived that kangaroo encounter, I guarantee 9 times out of 10 the dog would've died.

If anyone was wondering why game related sites seem to be increasingly taking a No Politicking Allowed approach to their content (or at the very least, quarantine it to its own section of the site as The Escapist does), I was wondering of videos like this one would help.

Now I am wondering if all of this nonsense will die down after Wednesday or intensify instead.

Looks at title of video. I'm the opposite. I'm sick of gaming in politics. Videogames make you violent? Seriously? Bah!

I would rather have politics in videogames since there are beautiful scenes like this:

Punching a reporter may be ironic not because gamers want to punch reporters but because everybody wants to punch reporters. Sadly the punches have gotten weaker from sequel to sequel.

 

Since I'm still watching that 30 minute video I might as well summarize my thoughts on the matter from a comment on that very video:

 

"In my personal experience, when I hear people say that "everything is political and should be political", they really mean "everything should reflect my personal views on politics". So when people say "get politics out of gaming", they're really talking about "keep the partisans who want to shove their politics down everyone's throat out of gaming". Modern-day politics has morphed into a religion, where getting labelled as either far-right or far-left is the new "you're going to hell for being atheist or for not following my religion""- dx1403

Americans whose origins lie in other nations have a choice as to whether they remain or not so they can afford to be even more picky about their fellow (for the moment) Americans than most.

If things go higgledy-piggledy, those of us who fall into that category can always excuse ourselves to slightly less temperate cultural climates(and have the mind to do so rather than stick around like Americans celebrities do despite no one actually wanting them to do so).

Nope.  After closer examination I noticed her wrist tattoo.  That's phase one of the daddy issues starter kit and NO FUCKING THANKS.  I don't care how hot she is, some man somewhere is tired of her bullshit.
