They could've made a tourist attraction like they have for:

There, fixed that for you.  Current IQ level of rioters is proof if you need it.  ?

Never was a fuddruckers fan.  I'd take a Hooters, Red Robins, Twin Peaks or 54th Street Drafthouse over them any day.

This "fix", has the approval from me(OP).

I did feel that the movie suggested it was bad genes within "lower IQ people over breeding which created the dump down, however I believe, strongly,it is by product of babies during their neural development not getting much stimuli.

Great movie nonetheless

I've said this numerous times in the past:  Idiocracy is turning more into a documentary each year.

It scares me half to death what this world is coming to.  I hold out the hope that there is a silent majority that sees through all of this nonsense and is about to rise up and put a stop to it.  Fingers crossed.

I would like to see the one thing from that movie come to pass:

Spoiler

A show both entertaining and yet painful.  ROFL!!!!!

There was a rabid raccoon in my hay barn and its muscles were locked and its mouth was open and it was snarling at thin air.  I've seen rabid animals before and I know that's a late stage before they loose their minds and start attacking anything that moves (and I have barn cats for rat control).  I took a picture of the raccoon, called animal control and then I shot it.  Animal control calls me back and NO they will not come get it because it's late Friday.  So I get some baling wire, hook this diseased raccoon and I drag it outside.  I stacked two pallets on it, doused it with diesel and burned it until it was nothing but black bones and ash.  Then I buried it on the spot with about 2lbs of caustic lye dumped on the ground.

EDIT: All I wanted to do was pet my barn cats and this shit happens.

One thing i've always wondered in Sci-Fi, if a one man fighter can blow up Dreadnought or a planet killer, WHY BOTHER BUILDING THEM?!

Use those resources to build more one man fighters instead, stupids!

According to Hollywood, that is normal.    It is clearly evidence of Christian Privilege too (David vs. Goliath).

Torpedo Boats were designed for the purpose of sinking Dreadnought class battleships but navies continued building big-gun battleships for several decades.

Except that that is Jewish.

I hope your barn cats have vaccinations for rabies.

Seethe more, buddy.

There is a difference between accepting and ass kissing my friend. The guy that owns Mcdonalds is more rich than me. Does that mean he deserves it? There could be some improvements sure. One thing is for certain I'm not going there. Yuck!

Kendo's story reminded me of this show by Joe Rogan a few years ago.

Yes, they do.  The barn cats really aren't 'pets'; their job is keeping the rats and mice from building nests in the hay and contaminating it.  They're all socialized and I have them tested for FIP/leukemia.  If they test negative they get vaccinated and fixed.  If they test positive they get the needle at the vet's office.  Any new cat that shows up that I can't catch earns a bullet.  I'm not about to have sick feral cats hanging around fighting and fucking.

Yep, definetly touched a nerve there.

Nothing cries louder than communist who is told to keep his hands out of someone elses pocket.

I figure there should be something a little more fun.

Since nobody actually cares what happens to other people and are actually more interested in their own confirmation bias I figure this video would give me a good laugh and it did.

Confirmation bias is a concern... but most people (at least not in big cities) still have a basic level of empathy for their neighbor. It's an extension of self-preservation to value a tight-knit community... tribalism of sorts.

I remember hearing something about slaves on plantations being broken down to the point that they didn't even care if they're own family died... I'm not saying that city life is that extreme... but by and large, if you're neighbor dies in Oakland... the only people who'd care are the immediate family and friends, but in small cities, most of the community would offer condolences.

You (not you specifically) can just watch as the mob steals from your neighbors and burns their home down, but don't be surprised when you're next, and nobody helps you.

"First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out— because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me." -Martin Niemöller

Well I agree that it is true. Bigger is not always better. People in small communities have a more manageable lay of the land including the the people that live there. On the other hand more people means more chances to find people that click with you. That can either be good or bad. Living in a small rural colony the American founding fathers didn't really have a plan for when America becomes flooded with people. Now that people are in their groups they refuse to listen to any other group. We'll call it groupthink. As a result people are getting more shitty. As one of my professors said: "More people means more problems."

The problem of groupthink isn't limited to big cities though. Small towns have less groups to argue against each other thus less conflicts. That said new things are often frowned upon by these tight knit communities because they don't get as much exposure to it.

Either way you are going to have conflict.

I don't think you're wrong, but it seems like a deflection of my response to your point.

"Since nobody actually cares what happens to other people and are actually more interested in their own confirmation bias"

Implying that people don't care about damage done and lives lost, and that this is all about political clout... not saying that there's no bad-faith actors out there, but one shouldn't ignore reality because there's people like that out there. It could be as simple as saying "We believe the police need to be better trained in de-escalation and non-lethal force, but we also believe riots, arson, assault, and killing are morally reprehensible." It should be a healthy debate of ideas, not character assassination and vilification.
