Same, if the only thing to be locked down was senior living and places that have folks that are elderly and/or have comorbidities.  This is pretty obvious based on the data.  Now cases most likely would have gone up, but if you are under 50 and don't have any comorbidities then you recover completely, so cases are irrelevant.

I have to disagree with you on one point there.

Every dead politician from any point prior to the 20th Century did restrict sex. There are still plenty enough living politicians today who restrict it outside of areas 'tainted' by European colonialism (and many areas which were yet reverted back to their old ways).

There is nothing quite like hearing an old codger casually state that if the community found out that a minister was gay that he would be finished and know immediately that he does not mean that only the minister's career would be over.

There are even threads on this site filled with people grousing about such.

Fair point.  Let me clarify, there is no US politician that is willing to pass a law that restricts people from having sex.  I'm not talking about porn, I'm not talking about prostitution, I'm not talking about strip clubs.  I'm saying sex.  First off, there would be no way to enforce it and second it would be such an invasive law that folks would not stand for it.  This was my point.

Now that is a straw man as I never suggested any such thing. You made the comparison between how Covid-19 and STDs are dealt with and I produced a link showing that fatalities from STDs are going up in your country. This suggests that the way STD is being dealt with leaves room for improvement.

Again, these kinds of videos make me question a great many things.   The follow up video to this (posted 22 hours ago) does feature a judge ordering the records sealed and all videos to be taken down to preserve a jury pool.   Again, using zoom for confidential court proceedings is not smart at all, so the fact that the second video is now on YT increases the number of questions.   If the YT poster is arrested for violating the court order, that would be something, but there is so little information available to the general public (for very good reasons), I don't think people should grab the torches and pitchforks just yet.    Just have them handy.
