Things like police and military cannot overlook small details like this if they want to catch groups committing hate crimes. So now governments are scared of it. That and businesses are afraid they will lose business if they use it. Everybody is fucking scared. Women are fucking scared of the patriarchy. Men are scared of the matriarchy. Black people are scared because either white people or their peers will fuck everything up. White people are scared that black people or their peers will fuck everything up. Society is scared because the government is run by babbling idiots. The government is scared that the people are babbling idiots. And everything is fucked again. "There is too much security!" It isn't overkill to annihilate a planet to get rid of Palpatine, it is the only way to be sure. No one but a Jedi would know that two Light Sabers are all that one needed to do the deed(until the next round of sequels, anyway).
