Yes, to ask that question on the right mod topic. Estrus+ doesn't trigger anything related to chaurus egg cluster looting.

Means you either want to ask that on Sexlab Parasites (I don't think it supports followers) or any other mod you installed that triggers a trap if you loot egg clusters (there is at least one more).

Maybe this is a problem of how the tentacles are registered in Estrus Chaurus ESP. Might have to take a look. But Estrus is so messy with the naming... 

 

Oh, I've been wondering about this one forever. I've tried lots of older versions of Estrus, trying to find one where they appear. Didn't think about actually using the ESP (since we're told we don't need to).

 

Maybe it's possible to strip out the excess stuff in the ESP with TES5Edit (shouts, spells, books, etc.)?

maybe. I thought about diving into that hole but my time is so limited that I went with the +1 ESP (OK whatever) approach. (a fix is a fix is a fix? ^^)

I suppose it is an error in the registration of the tentacles as animobjects in the Estrus Chaurus+ ESP that is then somehow fixed by the real Estrus ESP. At least that is my theory. I was too lazy to even research it in more detail.

It never worked for me but I think that was down to the chaurus being non-hostile with me.

 

As for some of the other posts here:

I'm currently using Estrus For Skyrim v2.50 (esp activated) plus the add-on along with Estrus Chuarus v4.37 and Estrus Chaurus Spider Add-on v4.342-5(?).

Everything seems to be working. The Estrus shout and spells worked - all three(?) animation/creature things have shown up up. I've just done Gloomreach and bumped into Anneke who was in a tentacle thing from the add-on. I freed her and she ran round the corner straight into a chaurus spit attack which threw up another tentacle creature.

I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with these captives. Hitting the E key until released isn't exactly 'immersive' and what happens if you leave them to it?

 

Not a problem but a bit strange  - I have more or less everything left at the default settings but the Sunguine's Apostle women* are showing up in Whiterun several times a day and there were three hostages/captives in Gloomreach including Anneke. Plus the spit attack that got Anneke was the first of the game but produced the tentacle thingy.

The wet effect doesn't seem to want to turn off and a crowd gathered to watch Jenessa after the Apostle woman had tentacalised her even though crowds are switched off too.

 

*She's cracking me up. I didn't realise how much my game need a little plumper crazy woman running round. ?

Non-hostile chaurus shouldn't have an effect on the chaurus tentacle attack because it's a trap!

They will free themselves. The chance can be set in MCM. If they can't free themselves they have to wait until zzEstrus is done with them.

lol yes they show up way to often if you don't turn down the chance of them to appear in MCM

Yeah, I fear the Addon isn't THAT reliable ?

It wasn't that. It was over several games and I harvest a lot of chaurus eggs during a game.

Trying to get this to work, but even when I set the spit chance to 100% it never triggers. On one test run, a female guard got infected(off screen), but that has been the only success thus far. I only ever play males, not sure if that is prohibitive. 

 

I feel old. Tried opening it in CK to see about finding the issue through the long way. Hadn't opened that thing in years, looks so damn dated. It failed several times to open so no dice there. I did find on this form where apparently it is set to female only, thought I could just try and find and toggle or delete it, but no dice. Either have to toggle female or try and find another way to edit.

If you have something like complete crafting overhaul and a couple of other mods that add scripts to the plant/ore sites they can conflict with estrus.  I think there is a flora respawn fix  mod around that does so as well.

Can confirm that "double tentacle" animation shows the missing tentacles if the zzEstrus.esp (V241r1) is active during Estrus+ triggered intercourse ?

This might contradict the dogma: "you don't need zzEstrus.esp to be active in combination with estrus+"

I'm having this same issue in my current playthrough (it worked in a previous one), but in my case, Estrus is enabled on the left AND right sides (another mod requires the esp). Like the person above, FNIS has been run.

 

Animations are all checked in EC+'s MCM, and listed on page 5 of my SexLab "animation toggle" section. I've tried unregistering, rebuilding registry, then re-registering, again they're listed and toggled on but don't start. She just stands there, uncontrollable, with tentacle noises playing until I give up and reload. Before, it only didn't play if I didn't enable PSQ lure when the attack initialized. This time, the animation won't play whether I allow lure or not.

Somewhat necroing this, but I've found out the cause of the missing tentacles bug. It seems that newer versions of EstrusForSkyrim use different Animated Objects in its animations, that weren't copied over to the EstrusChaurus plugin. A simple fix that I've done is to copy over the AnimObjs from the EstrusForSkyrim plugin into its own plugin, so you don't need to load the rest of the EstrusForSkyrim mod. I've included the plugin here for anyone that needs it until BaneMaster fixes this.

Estrus Chaurus+ V4.372 (14/11/2020)

 

  • Fixed Tentacle Double Animation when using  assets from Estrus For Skyrim V2.41r1 - thanks to Code Serpent for tracking down the issue
  • Added support for TAWOBA - Strips Bikini Bottom and Tasset during animations (also supports SLS TAWOBA slot patch)
  • Fixed a condition that could result in ModEvents not firing

Skyrim does its thing again. Magic I mean.

Been ages since the last time I saw T-double working correctly, but then I saw the latest update fixing it. Only it didn't fixed it for me. Tried a bit of this and that, again, and it turned Code Serpent's AnimObjects works (sort of, see below), when the changes from the last update don't. There is a lots of lines so I didn't compared everything, but the ones I did checked were identical. Yet it didn't works for me from EstrusChaurus for some reason.

 

So how Code Serpent's file works for me: for some reason it uses only one Tentacle from the Side animation, that goes from the back and with "leaves" covering whole crotch. No second one crawling in. No the one rubbing P from the tummy. Pure magic... Or the animation was changed and its not Double anymore. One of those.

Can this be converted for SE with Cathedral tools? Or did Pfiffy do additional work with his conversion (besides geting rid of the 43 error) to make it work well

Update did not work. Code Serpent's .esp does restore tentacles to the double animation, but they are the wrong tentacles. His .esp added the "side" tentacles to the double animation. This is better than nothing, obviously, but still imperfect.

Can you confirm that this is on LE,  that you are using Estrus For Skyrim V2.41r1 and whether you are using any EC addons.

 

There have been around 1,400 downloads of the new update and so far only three reports of problems with Tentacle Double so I'm not sure what might be causing the issue.

Do you know if it is possible to use the newest estrus for skyrim and estrus chaurus+ with the latest FNIS and SKSE versions? I found many complains about every past FNIS 7.5 version. I have dozens of FNIS error (missing animations) warnings.

And I get a SKSE error (not compaatible version) with the newest SKSE and the newest estrus chaurus+.

If you are using SE then this version isn't compatible - it's for LE

 

For LE I'm currently using FNIS 7.6 and Estrus assets from EstrusForSkyrimV241r1 with no issues

Dammit, from this list I can confirm only LE. Mine Estrus is 250beta (no idea how long ago I updated as well as I cant tell when I noticed the animation stopped working, so it may be it) and I have Estrus Dwemer addon, pretty old too, so in theory it could break the anims but I pretty sure I saw the animation working after installing it.

 

Sorry, cant run any tests right now.

 

Am I reading this correctly? You have it all working on your end? That means the problem is on my end, just as I though all this time. Sorry I bothered you, just I saw "it get fixed" and jumped of joy...

Yes - working as intended with EC+ 4.372 and resources from Estrus For Skyrim V241r1  (zzEstrus.esp not activated).

 

I don't use any EC+ addons so can't comment on those.

Does this mean we dont need to use the unofficial SLSO patch? Someone made a patch for it on the SLSO page, not sure Xiaron was the creator.
