I had a look at the current EC+ code, and it uses SexLab to do a job you really don't need SexLab for.

This means that instead of animations that start instantly, there's a big lead-up.

Changing it wouldn't be a huge job, and the new animation names could be put in.

 

But when I say not a huge job, still kind of boring :) and quite a bit of testing I should think.


I don't know anything about the Estrus API, or its source.

Just looking at the FNIS files and the jpeg samples is enough to go by really.

You don't think  anyone needs to ever look in Estrus.

 

That said, decompiling is quite easy. A lack of Papyrus source is inconsequential.

C++ sources are another matter, but I can't see how C++ would be required to play some standard sequential animations.

 

Sounds like some things have already been done, so I might try that out.

 

I checked myself, and yes, no morph support, only SLIF ... I don't want SLIF.

 

The code would made adding native morph support straightforward, so I'll keep the idea in the back of my mind, and if I get around to it ... bonus.

The morphing in EC+ is really the worst bit of it.

 

 

A SLAL pack is only an option if there's permission.

Happy for anyone to contribute as they want - you guys certainly have far more knowledge around these things than I do - I'm just an amateur script monkey.

 

If you do make changes though please  continue the native SLIF support even if you don't use it as many do.

The MCM tells me my FNIS Creature version isn't up to date, but I have the latest version installed.  I triple checked.  It is the only thing in the MCM without a check mark.

Hello, everyone.

 

For me, chaurus hunters and chaurus reapers fail to initiate a tentacle attack, even with the probability turned up to 100%. Regular chauruses function correctly. On a side note, hunters and reapers also fail to cause a Defeat assault, despite my having pertinent animations installed. Again, regular chauruses function correctly.

 

Any ideas what my problem is?

 

Here is my mod order. Estrus Chaurus+ is marked with *****************

Perhaps I should also say that I have EstrusForSkyrim installed, and checked in Mod Organizer's right pane. Checking it is the only way I could get the central two tentacles to appear with the double tentacle animation.

Move all Estrus mods below any Creature-, Spawn-, Combat-mod and Creature Patches that modifies Chaurus attacks and make sure Estrus files don't get overwritten.

In your LO it might already help to either move estrus below the BDIC patches.

If mods that modify Chaurus spit attacks are bashed (probably SKytest) you need to move estrus mods even below bashed patch.

 

I keep those together and always below anything combat or creature related:

There are some other causes I have discovered that can cause this to be the case.  If you have tgm enabled in console, the attacks do nothing.  Also make sure the animations are registered in sexlab.  Anytime you reset SLAL, you have to go into the Estrus Chaurus MCM and re-regeister the animations with sexlab.

 

Finally I think certain ingame immunity buffs affect the Chaurus spit but I'm not sure which ones exactly.

In your LO it might already help to either move estrus below the BDIC patches.

If mods that modify Chaurus spit attacks are bashed (probably SKytest) you need to move estrus mods even below bashed patch.

I moved Estrus and Estrus Chaurus+ near to the bottom and made sure nothing overwrote Estrus mods, as donttouchmethere suggested. I avoided tgm as Aki K suggested. The other things I was already doing.

 

And it worked. Spit attacks from chaurus hunters and chaurus reapers now trigger tentacle attacks and pregnancy. All I need to do now is figure out which thing or things made the difference. Could even be all of them.

After more testing, I found it was the ~tgm that was preventing spit attacks causing tentacle attacks and impregnation. However, I suspect that load order/overwriting is what is still preventing chaurus hunter Defeat attacks from initiating and causing EC+ impregnation. So far, however, reworking load order/overwriting and other methods I've attempted have not fixed it.

I'm lost, why are you using tgm at all? I thought you want to be defeated? Unless you use SLdefeat, that seems to fail a lot.

If you use Sldefeat check if the Chaurus hunters are registered in SLdefeat (MCM registered creatures).

If not, re-register creatures in SLdefeat MCM, especially if you changed something creature related on your LO.

 

I hope I understood you right and chaurus hunter work now with estrus+ mechanics, but your defeat mod fails to register them as legit surrender targets.

Well if you like using tgm as I often do, just disable it when you want some chaurus fun.

 

I don't have enough info on Chaurus Hunter defeat to advise.  You could try using "sexlab aroused creatures" as a replacement in initiating is the issue.  That mod has its own issues (such as having to reset rather large MCM settings for any new characters you start.)  But for the most part the mod has treated me well.

I've SL defeat alongside tgm myself.  It depends on my mood and what parts of the mod I want to use.  Sometimes a person wants to be defeated, sometimes a person wants to be a God.

Sometimes my game crashes or fails to render animations correctly in SL scenes. What I do is reload, ~tgm, and put my SL Defeat value to initiate a defeat at 100%, guaranteeing defeat without worrying about my character dying. That way I can pick up where I left off. Also, sometimes SL Defeat takes a long time to initiate. I see the health bar below the amount that should cause a Defeat scene, so I toggle tgm, set Defeat at 100%, and wait for it to initiate. I didn't realize until Aki K's previous post and my subsequent trial runs that tgm inactivated EC+ spit-tentacle assaults.

 

I had no idea SLdefeat-registered creatures could be re-registered. Only normal chauruses are in the enabled creatures list now, not hunters or other types. Thanks so much for telling me I could re-register them. I'll look for the creature registration button next time I play.

I did so too with SLdefeat (long ago), because it often failed to trigger for me too (slow) or it broke if my PC died multiple times in a row (poison) and other stuff like CTDs if too many SL scenes got triggered. ?

Creature Framework => Framework, is connected to SL Aroused and controls Schlong status on creatures based on arousal.

But "Aroused Creatures" is a separate mod.  It allows any aroused creature to randomly pursue and engage the player or NPCs in sex (options can be set in MCM such as requiring nude player, or unarmed player, etc.)

 

The problem is each new game you create requires manually checking off all your animations in the MCM, or the mod will only load the base creature animations from MNC.  So for each character you play as, set up can be a bit tedious.  It also has a hotkey to initiate consensual sex provided other MCM conditions are met.  (I.E. if the mod is set to nude only, you have to be nude even for consensual).

I still have to try it myself (I mean, I did, but not long enough to brag about it), but following the topic it appears to upgrade SLF a lot. As you can see on the mod page, SLF is still a requirement =D

Have a weird issue. Using FMEA to trigger EC+. First several scenes work just fine. Then, scene occurs a mile in the sky. Anyone have anything similar? Any suggestions?

That is a SexLab problem. There's nothing that can be done about it.

Looking to vary animations somewhat. Tentacle slide is default animation triggered (by this / FMEA). Looking to add Ooze, Slime, Dwemer Machine, etc. as options. Used SLATE to change tag for those animations to add "Tentacle" as those tags were missing.

 

Triggered EC+ thru FMEA ingredients multiple times. Only got Tentacle slide animation to trigger (disabled double because animation is missing the rod). Are the available animations hardcoded (slide and double)? What makes them available for selection? Is there an easy way to add Ooze, Slime, and Dwemer?

I apologize for not responding until now. I've been sick with two different illnesses at the same time for over a week and am just now recovering.

 

I couldn't find anywhere in SL Defeat's MCM to re-register creatures. The closest I found was in General Settings/System, the "Reconfigure" button, which I tried. That reordered the creatures enabled in the "Player as Victim" section, but they were the same ones. I.e., chaurus was there, but no chaurus hunter, chaurus reaper, or other variant that I have animations installed for. On a side note, other monsters are missing too, such as all the dwemer machines. It seems likely that the chaurus hunter not being registered is my problem, just as you say, because one time my player character went into bleed-out for an instant, then recovered with certain functions disabled, and the chaurus hunter would no longer attack. In the console was written this message: "failed to add actor -- they are not a valid target for animation." So I need to make the chaurus hunter a valid target. This behavior and message occurs sometimes in a different situation, when I'm hit by an arrow that takes me below my SL Defeat threshold % value. I wonder if it's related. At any raate, to continue playing, I had to initiate a SL Defeat "Clean-up." Strangely enough, after I reconfigured SL Defeat, spit attacks by the chaurus hunter worked despite it not being on the enabled creatures list. That was a surprise.

 

Would you be so kind as to tell me exactly where the button is in the SL Defeat MCM that re-registers the list of enabled creatures in SL Defeat/Player as Victim section and what the button is called? Sorry if I'm being slow. Thank you for your patience. Any other thoughts would be appreciated as well.

Yes, I'm aware SL Aroused Creatures is different from SL Aroused. I haven't been using SL Aroused Creatures, but have been using SL Aroused (actually, I use the version: SL Aroused Redux 28b as modified by BakaFactory).

 

If by checking off animations in MCM every new game, you mean in the SLAL section, yes, I do that every time, then register them. Then also in SL Framework, of course. If you mean checking animations somewhere else, I'd be interested in knowing where that is.

It's a long time since I used/tried SLdefeat, so I can't make any screenshots. I was sure there is a way to register creatures again (maybe not only creatures but all register-able animations for humans and creatures?), but also remember to make sure that all creature animations where installed right from the start before even activating SLdefeat.

The clean option needs to be used regularly, because often things get stuck with SLdefeat and cause all sorts of odd behavior.

So basically I can't check myself how that worked and we need a SLdefeat specialist!

The spit attack by Chaurus should be unrelated to SLdefeat tho ?

Vanilla game -> any other mod you have installed that modifies spit attack -> Estrus Chaurus+ should be the last in LO to modify the spit attack if it should be able to trigger tentacle attacks.

I am not sure if somebody mentioned that in the past. But the mod "Immersive Creatures" add a lot of alternate versions of existing vanilla creatures (just like Chaurs, dwemer and spiders)

Not all of them are recognized by Estrus Chaurus + and SL Defeat. For SL Defeat those creatures will not knock you out/down and you can´t surrender to them and, for EC+, the spit attack is altered, jsut like it was mentioned by donttouchmethere which means the attack can not trigger an event from EC+.

 

The chance for spawns of altered creatures of that type depends on your character level and the location. Some location have fixed creature spawns, which most likly will be vanilla version of them. (like the dwemer ruins in Markath for example) Some have random spawns and will most likly spawns high lvl creatures from Immersive creatures when your character level is 20+.

 

Also Immersive Creatures alters most of the vanilla creatures to let them become more stronger when you become stronger. Those creatures still work with SLDefeat and EC+. But not the "new" ones added by the mod.

 

I hope that might help you. Most pleyers i know use Immersive creatures because the game becomes so much better with this mod.
