When the v4's dropped I uninstalled the old and came to get the new... but found no "new" for Assets and had to put the old back where it was, did I miss something? :confounded:

I think Comrade Laura misspoke, there's no update for DDa. That's kinda the point, nothing new goes into DDa, so DDa only gets updated if something breaks.

Anything new device goes into DDx, and mechanics go into DDi.

Hmm there is something wrong with text windows when unlocking mittens, so basically i get window that i unlocked mittens and they fall of your hand and after that i get another window that its too difficult and i have wait a bit, then every time i successfully unlocked them i got window that i have to wait 3 hours>2 hours>1 hour and after that i can unlock them.

 

Overall there is nothing wrong with unlocking them,just too many/wrong text windows pops

Its not required and its not something that you should have installed as it needs an update with the new system, you can find some more detailed information over the last 3 or 4 pages as those questions have come up.

But the short answer is no.

 

If you have it still from older versions of DD it should work but there have been reports of issues with it. I would suggest avoiding Sergius's Experiments for the sake of your own sanity as it is a pain in the ass to complete. If you do have issues you are likely on your own as it is not supported at this time as it needs work. The book should still be available for crafting purposes though it only covers older items. You will need ZAP for it as it uses some idle animations from it.

Hi, since v4.0 I can't ask anyone to help me out of an armbinder / a yoke. The dialogues "Can you please help me [out of this yoke] ?" don't appear when talking to blacksmiths, NPCs or followers.

Is that intended ? Otherwise I may be able to track the mod causing the issue wih DDi and warn you about it.

Intended, the reason given was that this is a feature of several other mods as well, so it was kind of redundant.

In the new DDx and DDi releases is BootSlowdownEffect much slower, in my game I am only seeing 20 magnitude. I think I recall it being substantially slower before.

 

Is there a way to change this value?

The only way I could think of would be to go into the CK or Tes5Edit and edit the value in the corresponding spell in the .esm (which is quite easily done though).

With the introduction of hobble dresses and fetter chains, all speed-affecting devices have been rebalanced with their mutual interactions in mind.

Fine if your character is Captain Jack Sparrow and you like all that swaggering about but I don't and I was hoping for the same variety as the last version.

We have not heard from MaikCG in a long while and cedec0 only came back a few weeks ago but has not expressed willingness to continue AA support for new device types yet. As such, those two optional sets have not been updated and will ue Feuertin animations for the new (elbowbinder, handcuffs, breast yoke, hobble dress) devices.

So this is the problem I've run into. I've read that you need to set the polling NPC count higher than 0 for armbinders to work (I have set it to 7) in the DD MCM menu, but even with that this is what I get. The armbinders that get put on my character work. Most of the time, but if they are some Cursed Loot ones, the same thing happens as in the picture. I used LOOT and FNIS but to no avail.

 

I'm using 4.0 of DDI and DDX, newest version of DDa and v6.2 of Cursed Loot.

It's not 100% confirmed yet but I suspect the inconsistent behaviour of AA when applied to NPCs may be caused by the scripts initialising before the NPC's 3D model has been fully loaded by the game, resuling in aborting the procedure.

 

It's on my list. I'll investigate it... probablish next year.

The have Ids xx014923 (Vaginal/PA Piercing) and xx014925 (jeweled Nipple Piercings) of DDx Mod. It only happens whenever there are equipped as a result of being put in bondage e. g. from Deviously Cursed Loot or Alternate Start. It appears that the shadow item Id varies. When I create the piercing, e.g. xx014923, in the console and equip it, it gets a shadow item xx014922 and all is well (can be unequipped normally). In the other cases it gets a shadow item id from DDa mod (which right now I cannot reproduce) and the message appears. Btw. The message states that due to the harness being worn, the piercing cannot be inserted. (The attempt was to remove, not insert, the piercing.

I also think there are too many of these text windows, it would be nice if you could just have 1 button to click if you want to try to struggle out out of a restraint.

I want the escape system to be hard but I don't want the control menus to be so intensive that it puts you off wanting to use them to escape. Or is that the general idea too?

I've done some research and I couldn't find any other mod doing just that. Cursed Loot doesn't seem to offer this possibility either.

Could you please give me the names of mods offering this feature ?

I don't quite remember the list given at the moment.

But I'm fairly sure cursed loot does offer it, though maybe not something you can ask just any npc, have you tried a blacksmith or shopkeeper?

I *sometime* have the dialogue "I have been locked [...], can you help me ?" but only a few NPCs have this option. Even if it shows up, it depends on what I've set in the MCM of Cursed Loot and it can end up worse than before.

What I'm really missing is asking for assistance to any NPC about a yoke or an armbinder. Especially from a follower.

Thank you Princessity for the reply. It is indeed a pity that the mod has become so heavy that some of its best contributors have lost the desire to participate in it. The devious mods are the only reason that I continue to play Skyrim after all this time, I really should have quit long ago and I thank all those involved in its creation and upkeep for the endless hours of amusement it has given me over the last 3 years. I remain hopeful that the control menus for the escape system can at least be improved on, 5 message boxes to go through is way too many, guys!
