Where Havok has problems it's because Skyrim has limited access to its full-range of simulation types and data. Probably.

The vanishing characters problem can't really be blamed on Havok; that's just an unfixed Skyrim bug.

It should reset the simulation when it goes out of bounds.

 

SMP might be acceptable if you run a Bullet build that uses the GPU.

The standard SMP is CPU only, which is fine as long as it keeps its fingers off the cores Skyrim is running on, which it seems to fail at.

The tiny little sims that Skyrim is running should be fine on CPU.

You can get at CUDA in Bullet, for example, but that doesn't help AMD users much, and as I don't think there's enough simulation work to really load even the CPU.

You have to wonder what's going on if SMP has performance issues.

 

Probably the best answer is a custom engine for handling the work that Skyrim skeletons need, which is a far cry from generic physics simulation.

I might have done something about it a few years ago. I find my care factor insufficient these days.

A user raised an issue on the DF forum...

 

When the PC is sold to SS via SLS, due to Simply Knock, it makes no sense if the PC has a DF.

 

I agree this is strange. It's basically the NPC stealing the PC from the DF while the DF is there watching.

In some cases, the DF may even end up buying the PC back via SS.

 

I suggest that PCs with followers, devious or otherwise, should not be stolen by the SLS Simply Knock scenario...

Rather, the NPC could do other things:

 

  • Tell them to go away because they aren't an inn and they don't want some crowd of adventurers/mercenaries - whatever they think they are - visiting at odd hours.
  • Charge the DF follower for accommodating them both. (Add debt to PC).
  • Concoct some scenario where the NPC binds the PC and drugs the follower(s), so they are all sold by the villainous NPC. The DF is unset as SS target if set. The follower should show up naked, in DDs, with some appropriate AI package later (and temporarily removed from the potential followers faction). Follower gets restored if the PC pays for their release, or after enough game days elapse.

 

Yes, the latter suggestion is probably way too much effort.

Probably, the best answer is the simplest... They simply don't enslave the PC if they have a follower, but they do leave them locked in the armbinder afterwards.

In my head the scenario was either:

  • NPC knows about this slave trading and thinks he/she can get more for the PC than they pay the DF or
  • NPC offers DF a "business opportunity" to get rid of that annoying (PC) and share the profits

Addmitedly not the most thought out scenarios ever, but it would work for me ?

I can't go for it, because the DF could always do this...

 

It's hard to believe the DF, who seems to know all too much about slave trading (see Jarl game dialog) would rely on some random house-dweller.

 

And if the PC simply being in an armbinder is enough to sell them, the DF could do it first time they get in a bind.

 

Why would the DF split profits with some NPC they don't seem to know when they could have all the profits, plus earnings from the PC's adventures?

They make a big investment in time and risk; I don't see they'd let some zero-risk late-comer take half (or all) the profit.

 

To make sense (and I don't mean be realistic, as nothing about the scenario is realistic)...

The NPC either has to overcome the DF by cunning (drugged drink), or not get to enslave the PC.

 

 

As enslaving the NPC after Simply Knock entry is only a random chance in SLS, it seems most logical to simply not enslave, no different to the chance check failing.

I find doing that means I usually catch most of the interesting mods that come out or updates to mods I like where the notifications are broken.  That link shows just Skyrim LE updates in date order, so I don't need to sift through games I'm not interested in.  Obviously new interesting mods are rare, but sometimes a gem comes out that I'd completely miss otherwise.

Outfit menu. Save up to 6 outfits to quickly equip. Covers all slots. Anything that is currently equipped that wasn't equipped when the outfit was saved will also be unequipped. 

Outfit name saved = slot32 item or bra slot item if no body slot item found.

Un/Equipping is no problem but it's the timing that would probably be tricky with animations.

it would just be equip at start and unequip at end, I'm working on a little proof of concept, I'll show you when it's done.

behold the horse cock dildo ring of deepthroating!

 

Just a proof of concept to see if it's something you are interested in.

I can't export a second object using my blender .hkx script so I used a horse penis .nif weighted to the bones of the hand and gave it a partition of 36 (ring) I think if I weighted it to a single finger bone I could make the dido move in the anim by moving the finger and possibly by weighting different parts to different fingers I could bend it. Also I could attach the dildo to a fixed point on the floor for a hands and knees anim.

The problem is I cant see the position of the dildo in blender so even this P.O.C has taken me 2 hours (move wrist 1 degree,export,CAE,rename,FNIS, load game) I'm happy to go through that and I think I can make some great dildo blowjob anims now but I don't want to do it if you don't think you will use them.

For belly inflation from needs yes I believe so but it's very subtle. 

Cum inflation is not handled by sls but mostly delegated to FHU 2.0.

Honestly I don't know. I don't know where it would fit in right now. I don't want to be that guy that says yes and then later doesn't use it. I just can't say right now. 

Have you considered maybe setting up your own download page and creating an animation resource pack? I think it's worth considering.

Maybe, might be good to get some other feedback, certainly couldn't hurt, worst that can happen is people say they are crap right?

I don't know why you are so grumpy about the comparison. It's supposed to be complimentary.

 

The only problems with ME are its total non-compatibility, and (more recently) its tendency not to function.

The older versions of ME still work relatively reliably. It only fell to bits after everything was loaded onto the story manager.

 

Hopefully, you would not be planning to replicate those features, so where is the negative?

 

I guess you don't share my fondness for ME.

had not seen that done before.  are you sure you are new(ish) to making animations?? (yes that is a compliment)

agree with Monoman1 about you setting up a animation resource pack. i am not a mod maker but do think there are some out there that 

can use the stuff you are making.

@valcon767 Cheers, I need to give them a lot more polish before thinking about it but maybe.

 

@Monoman1 Wheel seems to be working ok, possibly my hack conversion to se but dances don't do anything and the sexlab voice continues to play indefinitely after tease. Also is it intentional that when an idle is triggered your locked into it until you press jump? I think the sore ass is an old version too. I need to go through them all anyway.

Ah not intentional. Just unfinished. I need to go through the timings and play another idle when it's finished. Or set it as not looping in the fnis file.

Most of the dances are from zaz pack. So you need that installed. The cicero ones are from skyrim though. They should work.

ah ok and I broke the anim by jumping but the sound was waiting for a stop.

Did you use nio to adjust the height? I didn't think to remove heels to check for sinking otherwise an easy fix would be to make them all squatting instead of kneeling, could also help to differentiate from the kneel option on the wheel when you do it?

No I haven't done much with the anims yet except add them to the wheel. Modding is slow work.
