Devious Followers 2.03 (2025) View File (This version isn't hugly tested and while it does fix some bugs... there may be new game breaking bugs which I'll fix as submitted) Oh and 100% new game needed! (might work without but I reckon it's unlikely) What is this mod? It's a follower mod that makes follower need money and if you can't pay bad things can happen but don't worry there are plenty of devious deals you can make to reduce debt... of course they need to be payed out off as well... just you know don't get into a spiral of debt and end up as a slave to your follower... (For simple terms it's a mod where the follower can slowly enslave the player via debt and the player can fight back by making gold) Foreword So I'm Lozeak, the original maker of Devious Followers which I left to the community to do what they want with. I made probably about 90% of the content of the mod and Lupine00 rewrote all of the dialogue, added more content and improved a lot of things. nomkaz also kept it aviable and updated. The main reason for this update is to fix stuff and not add content BUT I there is some new content and some old content is now useable (even if it's a little outdated). If you want this mod to be more bug free please tell me any problems you have. Requirements DD 5.2 If upgrading/changing Devious followers versions : You will need to rebuild Lozeak Device Controller list to add the new items (Delete/ Backup json in Data\SKSE\Plugins\Lozeak Device Controller) Sexlab Sexlab Aroused (I think this can be cleaned off and it won't cause problems but I'm not messing with that right now) Zaz 8.0 Spank that ass (Optional) Milk mod Econ (Optional) Simple Slavery (Optional) What's added and changed? Alternate Start (Disable by default) So rather than making a follower devious ASAP a follower will have a chance every X hours/days to ask for money based off your debt settings and you can choose to pay them, pay them later (into devious follower), refuse, or kick them and of course things will happen depending on these choices. (Oh waiting alone will not trigger force greet you will need to change cells (move to a different area) as I didn't want this being checked on a loop) The idea with this is rather than ALWAYS having a devious follower on every game, all the time. You can play the game as normal and followers can act like a debt bomb that might trigger like hitting a bad chest in DCL. And as with all my content MCMed to the moon so you can configure it to be as passive or aggressive as you want. Inspired by... Debt failure When you break the debt limit the mode had a messy way of dealing with things and I saw a lot of confusion with 2 or 3 enslavement/bad end systems so I rewrote it... Now when you break you debt limit you'll be forced to take deals to a certain number set in MCM (might go over) and/or forced into gold mode then after that you'll be put into a bad end. (none of this is new content) there were also a lot of bugs which this fixes. Devious follower slavery - Essentially everything gets paused and you can make your gold back while doing things under a set of rules. Lola content - No idea what happens here but if you have the mod something happens SS - You can add an outcome via SS DFC has a SS outcome that sells you to another follower Throw in a pit (This is basically a game over) Chained - This is kind of a gameover but if you can make enough money you can get the chains removed and continue. Being Sold on So in the mod when I originally added this it was to make the player feel a lack of control and being passed around... (more like a game than a bad end) it was changes so only followers could buy you and kinda of treated like a bad end situation. I've reverted it... now your follower will sell you to a random NPC which will be problematic and potentially game breaking but at least the content can be experienced rather than waiting endless for you run into the right NPC. (I know this might annoy people but this is a preference thing. Piercing issue fixed by updating Lozeak Device controller (i think) - Seeker999 pointed out where the issue was and I'll add here massive thank you to Seeker999 for all the troubleshooting you've done for others and anyone else but I did notice them help out a lot. Permissions and stuff I'm not going to go through it all again. People can do basically anything they want with the mod and I'm not fussed about credit or anything just have fun. However since it has used things from other mod which DO have permissions you cannot paywall content, cannot post anywhere but loverslab (unless it's a translation) and all code added needs to be open source. SexLab Aroused Followers 1.1.0 View File Summary This mod makes your followers charge you for their services. As they follow you around, debt will build up. Followers expect to be paid either in gold or in other ways. Failing to do so will lead to consequences. This mod was designed with a female PC and male followers in mind. Features Followers will build up debt at a configurable interval Each Follower is assigned a debt rate on recruitment, which is rolled between a configurable minimum and maximum. The interval and also the method on when you are charged is configurable. Choosing ingame time will take time skips like sleeping, waiting, fast traveling and so on into account. Choosing real time will ignore those time skips. The followers debt rate rises with their arousal If the follower is aroused at the time of debt adding, you will be charged extra. You will be charged for example an additional 5% for every 10 arousal on that follower. Dialogue options to pay off the debt Either in one big chunk, or at configurable intervals. Dialogue options to pay off the debt by 'alternative means' Short on gold? Get on your knees and suck your followers off. Six completely customizeable dialogue options for different sex acts, yielding a different amount of debt reduction. Everything from tags to the text prompt itself is customizeable in the MCM. Dialogue options to have 'some fun' with you follower Feeling horny? A follower feeling horny? Why not ask your follower to follow you somewhere private and have some fun? Keep their arousal low and thus their next invoice lower. Different states of debt Everything is good as long as you remain in good standing with your follower. Accumulate too much debt and you no longer are. Accumulate even more and you'll be heavily in debt. The threshold for each of these is configurable in the MCM. The state you are in plays a role in the events that can happen. I'm not your mule! Your followers are not your mules and decided to charge you for carrying your junk around! Minimum follow time Nobody sane would enter your service for just a couple of minutes, right? After all, time quite literally is money. When hiring a follower, he expects to be with you at least for a couple hours or more! Events Various events which can be triggered when you build up too much debt. Events range from your follower giving you a friendly reminder about paying him to stealing your items or even raping you! Differentiation between not being in good standing and being heavily in debt. All events are highly customizeable! Requirements SexLab Framework SexLab Aroused Redux Optionally a follower framework to be able to recruit more followers. Nether's Follower Framework is 100% compatible and what I use. Installation / Update Install as you would normally. When updating, please check the changelogs on whether or not updating without a clean save is possible or not. Also keep an eye out for special instructions. Updating in the middle of a event may not be a good idea. Notes and compability This is my first (scripted) publicly released mod, and especially my first mod of this scale! I've been working on this on and off over the last couple of months, so it's possible I forgot something isn't working or the likes and left it as is. This is also a early release and there are probably plenty of bugs to be found. I tried my best to ensure it all goes smooth but in the giant game that Skyrim is there are so many unforseen things which could be happening that things most likely will break somehow. Should be pretty "stable" by now. In terms of compability, this shouldn't directly conflict with anything. No vanilla forms were altered. I put quite a bit of work into the follower detection mechanism to make it not reliant on any follower framework. It should work with any as long as they respect vanilla follower factions. Heavily scripted followers which come with their own 'framework' may fail to be detected. Some functions, like the minimum follow time, may not work with every framework. Permissions If anybody is interested, I allow this to be ported over to Special Edition and to be hosted here on LoversLab. I currently have no interest in SE myself. Translations are also fine, but again, keep it here on LoversLab. You are also free to use parts of my code in your projects and so on.
