Everything else was rp, and most of that either getting tortured or torturing others.^^ Quick question, hopefully. I do have Cum Overlays installed and your bathing in Skyrim patch along with SLS, i think one of them said swimming would remove cum... it doesn't happen, though. I assume it's a load order problem, what would you recommend?

If it's SLS then it needs frostfall for the swimming detection. You also need to be naked and swimming for x number of seconds. X being set in the Mcm.Â

I only read about the feaure, i don't have Frostfall... mhm.  I really like the idea but i already have to check for stack dumps regularly, i'm on the very edge of what my PC can handle... had to disable the game from SLSO or at least not using it if several NPCs are in the same room. Frm what i've read Frostfall isn't that lightweighted?

Also devious mods that have no frostfall support can make saving your devious ass a real challenge. (counter with frostfall spells (+bwitch), clever route planing, travel at day and in good weather, don't swim in freezing cold water to get rid of cum, add deep blue frogs "warm bodies", stay in that SLS infected city a bit longer ^^, skill your frostfall skills up, don't overwrite papyrusUtil with campfire, add frostfall seasons to your LO if frostfall is too easy after a while o.o, build a campfire close to water if you want to bath ^^)

Frm what i've read Frostfall isn't that lightweighted? Meh. Frostfall is one of those mods that got a bad rep for some (no good) reason. Make no mistake, if your papyrus VM is already struggling to stay on top of things then clearly adding Frostfall on top isn't going to do it any favors. Everything has a cost. You are even right if: Frostfall - Seasons isn't installed (altitude can kill!), Frostfall effect isn't set very high, you have all the Frostfall perks in higher lvls, or you don't run around in DDs most of the time or have SCB installed (damn you chain beasts!) or have to do that "bondage adventure" in a snow storm ? I want at least some kind of story, many strategy games do a more or less well enough job on that but so far i didn't really find a management game that did it for me. I've recently started with some total war games after having them in Steam untouched for... a while xD.

That SLS feature is actually another little thing that SLS adds that makes my game so much better. I fight hard to not freeze to death, because of this.  For example NDUN defeat => PC naked in furniture in wilderness (cold region) => fails to escape => freezes to death => SS+ (while still doing the NDUN struggle game ^^)  The inescapeable Armbinder cries for clusterfuck depending on the SS+ outcome, but SD+ outcomes work well with that armbinder (not tried SLUTS yet, should work too right? I mean Ponys don't need hands anyways and they can just run to the Bondage Adventure Quest NPC ?)  Hexbolt's SS+ patch is a good workaround (a little cheat, but gives more options depending how fucked up the situation is)

A few times now I've actually been freed by SS. 1. Get sent to SS. 2. SS removes most devices. 3. Some quest type collar etc was found later. 4. Get released for free into Riften mostly devious devices free. Yippee. 1

Looking at the scripts for SS+: It checks if the player is wearing anything with the zad_BlockGeneric or zad_QuestItem keywords If so, it pops up a message saying that they "can't sell an owned slave", registers for a single update, and releases you The update does the same check for zad_BlockGeneric and zad_QuestItem. When you no longer have any generic-blocking or quest devices equipped, it takes a couple seconds to check again (in case it happens in the middle of another mod swapping out devices, I would assume) and if there's still no blocking devices it sends you back to the SS+ auction. So no dodging another mod's quests by volunteering to be enslaved. 1

I didn't really mean it gets you out of a quest. More that it can free you inadvertently. In my case I had escaped an SD master but still had the collar on. Later I got bound up by practically every devious device there is. Was just about to give up and start a new game - that's how bad it was. And then I got sent to SS. All the added devices got removed except SD collar and I was set free. They should probably add everything back on if they're just going to set you free. Or better yet. Check for a quest item first.  My SS is probably out of date though.

That's exactly what it does, at least as of SS+ 6.02 - the attempts to remove devices and strip the player only happens after it confirms there's no quest or generic-blocking devices. The changelogs indicate that it was changed in 5.5. 1
jfraser Posted June 28, 2020 Posted June 28, 2020 If SS is just releasing you, that presumably means you have no slavery mods checked in the MCM. Sneaky.  Unless more changes have been made. I haven't kept up since I made the same decision @Monoman1 just announced, way back when. Which is too bad because I came here to request the ability to run away from enforcers and allow towns to be free of the escort necessity (the women need to do their daily chores, after all  ).  One probably obvious question, though - if caught by an enforcer, they slap a collar on me and drag me to the nearest walled city. Who do I pay to get it removed?  Â

Who do I pay to get it removed?   SS will just release you in 2 circumstances 1 - no slavery mods checked in MCM 2 - you are in the middle of another mods quest (example DCL's Bound Queen while wearing the set)  to get out of the collar you have to go buy a license (find a quartermaster), IIRC its the magic license.  Â
Monoman1 Posted June 28, 2020 Author Posted June 28, 2020 3 hours ago, jfraser said: If SS is just releasing you, that presumably means you have no slavery mods checked in the MCM. Sneaky. No, I'm pretty sure they were checked. But like I said my version of SS is probably way back. Stupid broken update notifications here. I haven't seen a mod update notification for months. Feels like skyrim modding is more or less dead. Not sure it that's because it actually is or I'm just not getting notified anymore. Either way it leaves an impression. 3 hours ago, jfraser said: Unless more changes have been made. I haven't kept up since I made the same decision @Monoman1 just announced, way back when. I'm still tweaking/fixing things. But it's more like 'getting my affairs in order' in case I decide to just stop altogether. I'm just not prepared to sit down and spend weeks on end modding any more. Most people don't realize how much time it takes to make something even semi-substantial. Bikinifier, which was meant to be a small sub-feature for SLS and take a day or two, 3 tops but turned into a 3 week project. That kind of thing has happened a lot in the past and I just can't justify that happening anymore. Under certain particular circumstances it suits me to mod (there's not a whole lot else I can do). So I'll probably just stick to using that time and not my actual free time. 3 hours ago, jfraser said: Which is too bad because I came here to request the ability to run away from enforcers You should be able to. And I encourage it. Just keep in mind line of sight is PRETTY rubbish in skyrim. I've seen LOS NOT being blocked by a farm house but then later being blocked by a post.... go figure. Inside walled cities is a lot harder because basically.... I overdid it. City guards appear to be psychic (also partly because of stupid LOS). For towns though, most of the time, enforcers are fine because the approach there was different (better).  A little.... parkour helps a lot - Jumping off balconies/over walls etc since AI path finding is as rubbish in skyrim as LOS. Which is why men get a 10% speed boost from inequality. 3 hours ago, jfraser said: and allow towns to be free of the escort necessity (the women need to do their daily chores, after all  ). Should be able to set 'Followers required' to zero. In the toll menu IIRC. 3 hours ago, jfraser said: One probably obvious question, though - if caught by an enforcer, they slap a collar on me and drag me to the nearest walled city. Who do I pay to get it removed? You buy a magic licence and ask the licence guy to remove it. It's supposed to be removed automatically when buying a magic licence but that stopped working for some reason that I need to look into. So just ask the guy after buying. Or find a key (obviously).Â
tester86 Posted June 28, 2020 Posted June 28, 2020 Was playing today and bought a lovely new license. No more collar going into Whiterun. Go team. So, then I was playing with Devious Vanilla and went to Solitude to do that quest. No problems at the gate. They saw me and didn't put a collar on me, of course. I had a magic license after all.   But...  "You there, stop, let me see your papers, woman," the enforcer snarled at me. Smug as can be, "here you go. I'm all legal." The enforcer laughs, "what, this piece of paper isn't good here. This isn't Whiterun." Slaps a collar on. "You need a license for Solitude, princess." "But... that's not fair!" The enforcer only laughs. "You know," he says, still holding my license for Whitrun. "Seems this piece of paper is pretty useless." Rips it up and lets the pieces fall to the ground like confetti.  Hold specific licenses possible? Maybe an MCM toggle for hold specific or Skyrim specific and random change of ripped up license. Just an idea.Â

Imagine having to manage up to 25 different licences on a weekly basis.... Skyrim Administrator Edition. I'd rather focus on an instanced licence system so that the system could survive other mods destroying licences willy-nilly. Not as exciting but more necessary.Â

Imagine having to manage up to 25 different licences on a weekly basis... That does assume people don't edit the durations for them. Short license doesn't have to be a week. With per-hold licenses, you would probably change it.  I was in favor of it originally, but what I really wanted was a factional split. e.g. Licenses only for Slaverun towns. Or licenses only for Imperial towns. Or licenses separate for Imperial vs Stormcloak towns.  I think it's true that having a license per hold is overly bothersome, but having a licenses configured like this would be genuinely useful:  == License Enablement =============  Slaverun Towns        [X]  Imperial Towns        [X]  Stormcloak Towns       [ ]  Slaves are not Thanes    [X]  If a town meets either the factional or Slaverun requirement, licenses are required.  I think Imperial licenses and Stormclock licenses are immersively different documents, but Slaverun is a different matter, having either license could suffice, otherwise it's just a license.  For a Slaverun towns only feature without the factions, it's really just a case of what towns enforce licenses, there are no extra licenses; there's still only one license type.   If you're doing license instancing, adding additional tags to the license instance to determine what it covers seems somewhat reasonable. In that case, you could have combo licenses: magic+weapon+armor, maybe cheaper than buying them separately, or maybe that's just work for nothing. You could certainly do things like exclude a specific town from a license, or limit it to a set of towns, because license instancing avoids the issue that currently arises with having to create an alias for each license-role.  However, for licenses only in Slaverun, even the existing alias system is enough - it's just an enforcement decision - the license itself has nothing to do with where it's enforced in that case.
