Oh my goodness, I never looked into this thread before. This is a shame, and I must say, I am impressed by the overall quality of the pictures here. As an apology I can only say, that I started playing the Sims 4 only two months ago. I am sure, that I will look here into more often.

I am currently revising original lots in the game. An I thought, I would like to show you a few pictures:

The mayor´s mansion of Strangerville was only a mess, a huge, unfinshed monster made by EAxis. After a few hours of work I gave up to fix this thing, and started to rebuild it from scratch. It looks very similar but I rotated the house on the lot around 90 percent, and made it much smaller, so that I was able to build a driveway and a garden for it:

Currently I am working on a small house in Glimmerbrook, I call it "The Reader´s Home". The outside may look a bit rundown but the inside is a dream for any book lover:

All my houses are availlable in my blog over at TFM´s, where I write about the adventures of my Sims. And of course all of my stuff is for free.

@carlfatal I'm not familiar with TFM?  Although as soon as you say what it stands for I'll probably go "oh, duh!"

I've played with the Roswell household before, that house is enormous and nearly empty- just like the other two houses up there, actually.  They look like Maxis got them just functional, meant to come back and finish them, and then ran out of time.

It takes me a LONG time to get a house to where I'm actually proud of it.  Getting it to where it plays well?  That's easy.  Getting it to where it plays well, and looks good-- that's hard.

@Juliette Tango, @snowdog04,

thank you for the praise! And I am sure, that you all know the mentionied website, I should have mentioned it by it´s full name: TFM´s SimsAsylum. The site was well known as home of modders like Coolspear, or JASF. My blog is in the "Naughty Ward" section there, as you can imagine, that I play with WW and other more adult mods too. You´ll need a registration and a permission for this area to view my blog and download my houses.

Here a few more pictures, so you can see, if you´re interested in visiting our place to grab them houses:

The mayor´s mansion again:

Another example for a revised but not completely rebuilt house is the so called "Plateau Place". Here I lowered the wall heights and changed the most windows and doors into matching ones. Also it has a completely different floor plan, that makes much more sense, if one wants to play here, and I shrinked the huge pool in the backyard and gave more space for greenery. It´s still very empty but easy to get used now:

I revised all houses in Strangerville exept the bar, and did also build a new library there:

For the Sigworth family I built a compleley new home, cause they needed more space, and I want to build a sheriffs office, where they lived before:

Here you can see Mr. Magnus Moneypenny, the local estate agent during a guided tour in the hallway:

And here lives the household, I am playing with:

If you´re interested, I would like to show more of my builds. I really love playing the Sims 4 now, but building houses is my main hobby in all parts of the Sims series. My stuff is always Maxis-match, mostly cc-free, and if needed, I provide links to the objects, I used for a specific build.

Happy simming!

Hey guys. Halloween will be here before we know it, and I'd like to finish sharing the rest of the vids on the Friday before. So I'm going to go off sequence for a day and post this one now. That will leave only nine more which works out perfectly.

This one just fills in some things for one of the subplots. Not as exciting as what will come starting with tomorrow's episode...

The Xanthi Mystery Episode 25: "A Conflict Of Interest"

@Juliette Tango The fact that you've been able to keep making 25 of these, and you at least another series going before this one that you finished, is just endlessly impressive and terrifying to me ? Like I try sit down and write something for a story or put togehter a video of some sort and I want to, but actually knowing where to begin is always so hard to me.

@erplederp, thank you very much! And I will show some pictures of the interieur as well this time.

@Juliette Tango, that video is stunning!

@mrrakkonn, I love your sims... They are always soo cute.

I am still playing in Strangerville, altough the mother plant is defeated. Here a picture, that I made, while Yuki was reading, and her daughter Nelly and Rocco Tiger were listening very attentive. This happened completely autonomously, and scenes like his one are, what causes my addiction to this game, even to the 4th part of the series:

And cause "The Reader´s Home" is finished, I will show you, how it came out. It may look a bit rundown from the outside but that is only the first impression. The inside is cozy and a good place for a bookworm. Bookshelves everywhere, and even place for a grand piano. 93134 Simoleons are needed to purchase the lot. But here the pictures:

@carlfatal Welcome to the thread, and I hope you visit regularly. There is a lot of talent here, and it always brings me a lot of enjoyment and inspiration! Not to mention the people here are incredibly nice. IMO building lots in Sims 4 is harder than Sims 3, especially if you don't use CC. All my more recent lots are built from floor plans, use CC, and the exteriors are rather bland, so "Great Job" with your lots. They look great. ?

@carlfatal  Very nice builds, and I'm not familiar with that site, I'll have to check it out.  I've had a family in that Plateau Place house before, that pool is absurdly large.  I shrank it to where it's still a big pool, and then had room for a basketball court, a swingset, and some other stuff.

Edit:  And while I was typing you posted the Reader's Home pics.  Wow!  I've done the rooms within the roof thing before, it's a pain to pull off!  And now I want to attempt a redo of my barn conversion home lol...

Interesting, I don't recall ever signing up on the Asylum, but apparently I did.  Probably after googling something.  I wonder what?

@erplederp  Yup, if I remember right both males and females would bounce when they stood still for a while.  Females also had a really naughty stripper dance too lol.  Males did Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" dance.

@mrrakkonn Thank you! I think we all have our own set of talents. Honestly, I never wrote a story before in my life prior to last fall. I know you haven't made a lot of videos, but in the ones you have, I've been very impressed with the way you set the lighting, camera angle, and frame the scene!

@carlfatal "The Readers House" looks really cozy. The setting is idyllic. Is that a lot in Glimmerbrook?

@Juliette Tango The video communication through the TV is done so well one might think it is actually in the game! ??

@carlfatal I like the furnishing! A lot of custom builds seem to go a little overboard with decorations/clutter but you strike the right amount for the MAXIS match style.

You mean a singer dance, of course. ? The iconic move is at 3:20.

That move was PART of the nelf dance.  Don't forget the other part where she squats down to her heels and does some raunchy hip pumping.  Nearly all the other dances, people have dug up videos with all the moves in them- "The Electric Slide," "Toxic," "Pokerface," etc.  But that girl doing that one particular move is the closest anyone's found to the night elf female dance.

I once again try my hand at making a story, this time it's going to be more of a (potentially) longer running thing with the aim of providing more backstory and characterization to some of my own most used sims and to give some more context to the normal types of picture stories (and occasionally videos) that I do, probably going to be somewhat mundane, everyday stuff, no overarching storyline that I can think of at the moment.

I haven't really though of a name for this, it's pretty much all setup and very likely way too much text with nothing really exciting happening. Haven't decided yet if I'm going to continue straight on from the end of this one for a somewhat shoter part 2 (or part 1.5) or do a short timeskip to continue things, I'll see.

Took me a while, but finally got to actually continuing this story, will probably do one more part of it, hinted at in this one, and then likely move on to some other sims. If I can find the time for it I'll probably be looking into doing more of these stories mostly to embellish my sims' backstories and such.
