Switch to Sims 4 content.  Apparently he reused the same name on a VERY different hairstyle!  And it's listed as a men's style.

Hey everybody. I know I said I was going to share more X-Men pics, but RL threw a wrench in that plan, and time is very limited these days. As an apology I'll leave you some more Psylocke pics that didn't make the cut last time. Here are some X-plicit X-tras of X-Man Psylocke (Betsy Braddock). Warning: Contains nudity, and sweat. @2cool4u_1 She looks great, and don't worry about not having time or wish to do Sims, we all get that sometimes, even with the pandemic going on (though I've been prolific lately). 

@erplederp Yeah, I only now got eco-living because the build CC and real estate looked decent, and it least for that photo shoot, it worked out pretty well, I like the industrial look.

That little brunette chick is quickly becoming a new favorite of mine, I really like how she is turning out actually.

 

 

Also I never mind me some good pic spam! A bit of constructive criticism, have you considered perhaps playing around a bit more with transparency and sharpness for that tattoo? Perhaps even color satuaration. From where I'm sitting it somehow doesn't look quite right (though you're already well on your way way, I imagine color tattoos are very tricky to get to look right) if you don't want to expend too much effort).

In addition to working on her, what I've been doing is working on finishing up my sims based on Cash Monet and Diva Roma from the Urbz, who go together well with the Couture Twins (who I've already made sim versions of). 

 

They were kind of sitting there for a while as I didn't have quite the look I wanted for either of them, but I think I turned a page today and am currentoly at stage where I'm beginning to be quite happy with the both of them. I found a CC pinstripe suit that worked really well for Cash Monet and I made a selective clone of the hair I was using for Diva Roma to add a more purple hair swatch, but which shows up as being a greying black in the catalogue, meaning for other MM hairstyles she'll actually default to having greying black hair, which is what I wanted for her, as I decided to go with her giant weird hairstyle being a wig. 

 

Cash Monet is a 5-star celebrity musician, while Diva Roma (taking from her wiki) is fashionista who manages the twin models Sophie and Babette Couture. Rather than go with with the sort of Cruella Deville look she seems to have had in the concept art (which I couldn't really replicate in any case) I'm more going with a narrative of her being a former model who went into the management side of things (I think midnitetech's model career has a path like that, or it's another career that has it).

I've also decided to the same thing with Diva Roma as I did with "Mom" Landgraab when i made my expanded Landgraab family reimagining, which is to actually put together the young model version of her and probably use that for some story-telling purposes, maybe even some CC posters (and uploaded as an extra when I finish up and upload her and Cash Monet of course). 

 

Keeping the shape of her facial features the same, but dropping the "old age" skin details (that's perhaps putting it harshly, I imagine her to be around 40 or so, so not old, but I did use some wrinkle skin details), picking a different hairstyle, some different makeup and adjusting fat and muscle sliders a bit as well as posture, here's the young model version I'm landing on for her. I think it's looking pretty good.

It does not look much like a real tattoo, does it? ? I think I did use a small degree of transparency. Both sharpness and saturation would need to be adjusted for a more realistic look as you correctly point out (maybe even add black outlines or something). I don't mind the resulting look too much though, the pastel colors seem to fit with the CC I usually use. Let's pretend it is one of those fake sticker tattoos and she got it with a (giant) bubble gum. ?

Did a bit more work on young Diva Roma (mostly doing other outfits) and took some pictures of her together with the young version of "Mom" Landgraab, felt appropriate.

The lack of sassy and dramatic male CC is appalling so a friend made some male skirts! I threw my sims in a set of all plaid with stockings and garters with metal and rose details and heels. I like to place my simself in new saves and let him go unplayed, and see what he gets up to.  In one save he married Lana, though this pic is after they've aged up.  Yes, that's their son.

Lana McKinnon is one of the university professors.  There's another professor named Serena, who's rather mean and ugly, and then a couple of Elders who probably die off by the time a Teen ages up and goes to university.

This house will ruin my mental health... Those friezes, that one can use to decorate the outside of a building always appear on the inside, if one builds a room without ceiling. The only way to avoid this is, to build a room without ceiling also without any contact ot other walls inside. It´s hard to explain but if there is any modder who can explain me, on wich script I possibly could find the code, that regulates the way friezes work... Damn, I would be so grateful...

 

But I am not here to complain, I have a few new pictures. Slowly the "new" Victorian Mansion takes shape. I think, the outside is done, and I also was able to make a floorplan, and I started with a first attempt to make a garden, matching the surrounding. Three chimneys and some fireplaces will help to fight the bitter cold of the winter in Arizona, and the staircase is, well, let´s say, I can live with the outcome...

And then a view from above. The white thingies are friezes, that I can´t avoid. I would love to be able to place them tile per tile but for no reason EAxis decided to let not the player choose how to build but their crappy program instead. I would like to use them here in brown color but if I try to do so, the friezes on the outside change their color too:

and me lucky guy found the solution. Better said, the solution found me. I asked on discord, and a builder there explained, that, if you use SHIFT and the frieze-tool, you can place them wall per wall and not room orientated. I tried it, and voilá, the same staircase has now matching colors for the frieses but on the outside they stay white:

Thank you so much for the tip! Those friezes always annoyed me, because I always try to build my staircases against an outer wall. ??
