Same issue, and it might tie in with another question I have. For the past three days now, uploaded images don't appear unless my browser actually has them on screen. Until then it's just a blank gray space. I thought it was my Internet connection but after what happened today I wonder if the site wasn't hit by another DDoS attack? The image issues across two different computers makes me wonder.

that what now New is, is absolute crap!
I have several loverslab links in my favorites list, also my profile.
I can not access these links anymore, no connection is established!
if I use the direct link to Loverslab, then I receive the message * check your browser *!
something like as now, I have not experienced in the last 7 years!!!
It's time to throw this new crap in the garbage, it makes no more fun to write anything here!!!! :classic_sad:

@Ernest Lemmingway

I believe it's caused by the new version of IPS gifs show grey till they gif is fully loaded and the same is probably for images as well.

Open page 412 in Animated Gifs Thread, then open all spoilers at once and then wait!
I have waited 30 minutes and the gifs were still not open.
I canceled this test! :classic_wink:

LL has not responded normally for me in the past 2+ days. First it was no connection, now it's so slow it takes up to 60 seconds to display a forum page (with no gifs or other graphics.) Something is just horribly wrong.

Does anyone else have a feeling that site is ultra slow in everything? :( Every thread opens sloooooooooow and updating the posts and threads are late, veeeeery late.

Quick note:

Parent categories won't be listing all the files of the subcategories in downloads for a little while. This functionality, along with a few others have been temporarily disabled.

Thanks for the head's up. I'm glad the category thing will only be temporary :)

I'm getting a lot of this one lately. Does it mean that server is overloaded with visits? I don't recall such thing happen before.

If I should give a guess,  it's because

Spoiler
  • it's weekend
  • some pimpled underagelings (male) sit at home,
  • no girl in their school is stupid interested enough to spend time with them, not to speak about giving them a handjob
  • they look for porn in this "internet-thingy", find some "cool tool" on some random porn board
  • at least one of them is smart enough to unzip the tool, click on "supercooltool.exe", enter "loverslab.com" in the window  ... and they all start wanking as soon as the site slows down or becomes unreachable.

Technically, this is called a "Distributed Denial of Service" attack and relies on many (thousands) ill-managed other computers or mobiles who listen to the commands of such tools.

Once they get the URL of the victim and a command they start to load and reload and reload and reload ... the victim's web site... If thousands are doing this at the same time, the victim site loses it's abiity to keep track of all these requests and has no ressources left for the legit users.

and believe me it's hard to track down this criminal, because thousands - tens of thousands of PCs are involved.
I have it tries, but do not ask me how. :classic_wink:

Had it too, and sometimes with a variation from Cloudflare announcing the site was down. Even if the error message was different, I think Cloudflare was right.

Not complaining, just trying to give info.  Clicking on fallout 4 in download, it says, There are not files in this section yet.

I have also had the error listed above, and the slow, and a message saying something about verifying my browser

Ashal explained this. For few days the Download buttons will not work.
