When I try to make myself feel better about a glorified dollhouse being one of my most played games I tell myself that it's actually a pretty hardcore strategy game, it's just that people don't get it. Money isn't the limited resource, making money is easy, time is. The strategy is trying to fit... well, whatever you want to achive, into the limited time the sims have. Well, unless you turn off aging, then it's just a dollhouse.

Nevermind lifespan (I always upped that a bit anyway), but..."Oh yeah - four hours before work.  Lots of time to piss, shower and eat."  Nope. O_o

MCCC is what you need. Alter the time scale to something akin to 2 seconds for every sim minute. Then you have enough time to do all that you need to do. Altering the time scale was something you can also do in The Sims 3 with NRAAS.

I did have that...lol  Just never did. :P

It was working pretty smooth, and like I said; some terrific animations.  Just got tedious after a bit.  I can do dishes and go to the bathroom in real life...lol

Decapitation is better. ?

Do the sims at least last longer than the average Ken doll?

Oh so you can turn it off? That's nice.

As a matter of fact, Full House challenges are very much part of the community's activities. In a very real sense, the Sims series is not merely some everyday RPG but a simulation which allows one to seal oneself into a mundane nightmare (except for the fourth installment. That one is a candy coated Hellscape all the way). It is Pleasantville in game form.

Of course, one group's Perdition is another group's Paradise.

I prefer doing the things you can't do in real life but that is just me. Things like robbery and murder and um nevermind?

I avoid a lot of issues the game creates as 'time goes on' and Sims are born, live, and die. With aging off and time 'slowed down' so they have more time to do things per day my 'Dollhouse' works just fine with saves going back over the years. But then I have fun in a variety of ways - usually recreating TV shows I grew up with. Seriously - how old is Bart Simpson now?

That is the kind of thing that sounds more up my alley. A big ass doll house with a big ass basement(for my torture chamber) and a whole cast of maids and butlers to serve my every whim(Not to mention my sexual desires). Hue hue

May have got carried away there.

There is a mod for that.

Besides that, it has nothing that you can not do in real life, granted you are a time traveling vampire roboticist who duels with mages for fun in between excursion to cursed ruins.

Just asks any of the people who are now older than Homer who were the same age as Bart when the series began.

Yeah, me too. I have pretty generous lifespans, and aging set to off for unplayed households (I play S4), playing rotationally with 400+ sims, so in my save that is 3+ IRL years I am yet to have a single life passing through from birth to death.

I tend to do a particular scenario, give myself a sim week to achive it, and then just move on.

Uh... I might have done that scenario. Only one maid/butler though, and the main sim of the household was a vampire serving in the sim equivalent of the senate.

I do plenty of fairly mundane households too, sure, but I also has the mad scientist who have sworn off men and exclusivly have sex with robots while trying to contact aliens so I can get her pregnant with them, and plenty of other weird scenarios. You need a bit of imagination, and sometimes a few mods, but it's very possible to break out of the mundane in the sims.

Technology gone mad.

"The BBC has apologised after a message appeared on the news channel saying "Manchester United are rubbish".

The text mistakenly popped up on the news ticker at the bottom of the screen during a tennis update just after 0930 on Tuesday."

That's my team. ☹️ Mind you, after the season we have just had most fans would probably consider 'rubbish' generous. Mercifully the season ended last Saturday.

It's not the statues size, it's how the statue uses it. ?

The concept of porch pirates is somewhat unique and angrily irritating as well.

Time to enjoy some payback.
