xxx696 Posted March 21, 2022 Posted March 21, 2022 Hello All, I appreciate that there is frustration with asking for help here when there has been no effort put into self help, but I've tried and failed so here goes. The problem is the standard T-pose no animation during sex... - I've run old Skyrim for years and a couple of days ago made the jump to Skyrim AE, which I'm now trying to get sorted. I am using Vortex as my MO. - FNIS SE 7_6 is installed. Skeleton arm box is checked. I've run it and it has highlighted 2 errors. I know not to ignore errors, but I don't know what those errors are, where to find them and how to fix them. - Sky UI_5_2_SE is installed. In old Skyrim, I pressed the tab key and had control over all the mod menus. In this version, tab does nothing and the MOD menu in game shows Sky UI is installed but not activated with a tick, and I have no control from that menu. Vortex states that Sky UI is enabled. - I am using Sexlab framework AE_v164c (1).7z. Vortex shows this as enabled, and the ingame MOD menu shows it as ticked. - I have followed the troubleshooting guide and changed my Papyrus log to read: [Papyrus] fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=500.0 bEnableLogging=1 bEnableTrace=1 bLoadDebugInformation=1 - I then ran the game to attempt to create a debug log file. I checked my game folder but I cannot find a Logs/Script folder anywhere. I'm genuinely sorry that I am struggling to follow what are simple instructions to 99% of the user community, but I'm not particularly IT literate. I don't expect anybody to step in and fix all of this for me, but clearly I'm doing something obviously wrong at a basic level - if somebody could please point out what it is and how to change my approach, I'll go away and follow the self help guide again. Have you run skyrim once via steam? as i believe thats still required at least once so it makes the relevant .ini files That said from the first error message you appear to be trying to run FNIS from the vortex staging folder and not the deployed/hard linked folder as that should look something like FNIS Behavior V7.6 XXL 21/03/2022 10:41:39 Skyrim SE 64bit: 1.5.97.0 - C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\ (Steam) After vortex deployment you should be able to see the FNIS stuff in \steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users from the hard linking to it, you could run it directly from there rather than from within vortex if you want

In terms of how SL has changed over the years - there used to be the functionality to go to a mod menu and change all sorts of features such as voices, animations, timings etc. Is that still possible? I've still got Sky UI unchecked on the in game menu, and the older function of pressing '0' to choose animations now doesn't do anything.

To be honest i'm still on sexlab SE myself as i haven't made the jump to AE but yes there should still be a sexlab MCM with the configuration options you mentioned but that will require skyUI to work/appear O (as in Oscar) should be the one for changing animations (assuming multiple animations met the criteria passed to sexlab) I've not read anything about the MCM changing so the AE one should be the same as this, the top 2 - global ones will be ?? as they need assigning by a player
