Sexlab and AE

I've held off updating Skyrim ever since AE because I worried it would be the same situation we had going from the original Skyrim to SE. However, I've ordered a new PC a few days ago and I'm now curious as to whether Sexlab has had any issues with AE and the AE SKSE?

I updated to get the AE mod content, and then promptly reverted which has worked quite well on the whole. But I have been watching the compatibility lists, and it looks like all my "must have" mods work once again with AE. Still, I've been putting off doing the upgrade because I've been waiting for Beth to stop issuing paches which require new updates to SKSE. I have this superstitious feeling that the moment I upgrade, they'll update again and break everything.

 

It's probably about time I bit the bullet though. Maybe this weekend if I get a chance.

I had to reinstall recently because... computers and I had to hunt down the AE compatible beta of DD, but I think everything else had an AE version available, or it was already compatible. It is mainly mods that have dll files that cause issues.

 

My SE/AE install is now fully working, except for SOS.

How? My game refuses to load SkyUI after loading a save. Only works on a new game.

 

That and it keeps telling me to downgrade sexlab.

I make new characters almost every time I download a mod, so I don't think I had this problem ? Did you download the address library for skse?

 

I never had any messages to downgrade SexLab, what is giving you this message? Is it another mod? Are you using the downgrade patcher mod for AE?

I just used the downgrade patcher this morning to go back to SE I was using AE, it was SUM itself saying .64 is untested use .62.

simple solution, either use GOG and re buy Skyrim and lock it to a specific version, 

 

GO ON STEAM, set UPDATE ON APPLICATION LAUNCH, only 
OR run steam in offline mode before running vortex or SKSE, 

when Game is Launched no update check is performed because of offline mode and it keeps the game at current level, Thats how i got stuck on 1.5.97 for a long time except when it went AE now, I'm fucked again looking for version 15 and cannot find it as its not int he files, AAARRRRGGGHHHH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
